I feel a little bit bad about starting this thread just now as there have been heartbreaking stories on mumsnet over the past couple of days. Ladies our thoughts are with you.

This antenatal club is particularly special, as after a long difficult nine months for all of us we are now the lucky ones who get to hold our beautiful little babies. There are lots of challenges ahead for us, of course. but hopefully we can all continue to offer support , advice and friendship during the more happy times

my chickpea lo doing ok, unfortunately i am really overcrowded in my house and have little chance of a move so am planning splitting the kids rooms so they both have some space- they are boy and girl and getting to adolescence already.
I have baby photos which show ds and dd and ds2 looking so similar but dd/ds and ds2 have diff dads so its amazing what looks they have just from me.

mygirl you must be very happy being so young with 4 kids, very unusual to have so many kids so young - and be a great mum as you are. - only people i know who had 4 kids by 25 have had big time social services involvement because they were dead crap- joys of living in council estates i guess.
anyway im def up for meetup sometime and will be here more often too.
I was thinking about another pregnancy but i don't know whether i can deal with that stress again, knowing that it may not be successful etc - maybe im pushing my luck!

don't get me started on gps- you know ill never stop lol
well actually i have never met my health visitor and still havent managed to get his 4month jabs and he's 7 months, i have tried but my doctors is book apointment at 8AM- well by 2 mins past its all full!! you'd think the baby clinic is glastonbury!

who wants to organise a meetup then???? any takers???
where are you - lets revive the thread please!
cori, petunia, wools, twocats, snowboo, wills, arabica, hellkat???? phewwwwwwwwwwww
where are you you you you you you you you you (echo)

also any info about nurserys and what you do when you put your babs in one etc- im back to uni soon and im flipin pooing me pants about it !!

Snowboo · 04/02/2007 19:03

Hey Slink and ladies! Still here but where does the time go????? As soon as i sit down to relax and catch up someone needs me!

As for having any more....NO NO No NO. Can't bear to have the stitch/stress/overnight hosp stays...I'm happy with my lot!

Well i'd be up for a meet up. Im based in west London so not too sure where you are all hiding.

And sorry if im not making sense, been up every night with ds1 (whos 4)with vomiting/high temp/headache. Fingers x he will sleep tonight!!!!

i think eden has got a bug too, he is so snuffly today, he had his jabs yesterday- his 4 month ones, he's 7 months now so rather late.

im in west london too snowboo. mygirl i reckon you should still organise the meetup, i didn't realise the last one got cancelled! i wasn't able to go because i was on holiday. i think because it was summer people were probably busier than usual.
lol about ss because of your garden!!
my uni is crap- no nursery or anything! i have found a place abeit rather expensive, prob is i need to get everything organised for next week and im stressed about it as havent enrolled or applied for funding etc - dunno whether its possible! i may duck it off and go back in october when im more organised.
i don't like the thought of not being able to play with eden because i am trying to do assignments etc

twocatsonthebed · 07/02/2007 16:17

hello everyone! really good to see this thread again and hear from you all.

I'm still here, although not on mumsnet very much at the moment - can't think why. Edie is now 12 weeks old, and still a delight, although a delight who thinks its fun to chat for an hour at 4am... She's just had her two month jabs today, so Slink, you're not the only one with disorganised doctors.

Does anyone have any photos up - I'd love to see all of these babies that I've heard so much about...

Evening all,
Glad to see you all! Is everyone ready for snow?! It looks like we're heading for a load here in Leicester.
Emily's a little over 9 months old now and was 16lbs 13oz last week. She loves her food and I'm still breastfeeding her. She's a bit of a "daddys girl" though, DH had a day trip to Dublin and she whinged much of the time because she didn't see him for much of the day! Will try and get a picture up of her soon.
Hope everyone else is well.

We've got snow too! We've got about 2-3cms and it's still snowing. DD1's school isn't closed but she's an out-of-catchment child so the school is 5 miles away. We all got ready to go at 8.30am this morning, (having listened to the radio for school closures), and I took one look at the cars driving really slowly on the estate and went back indoors again! The school secretary said that it might be better to keep DD at home today as they didn't know how bad it was going to get.
Might venture out for a session of snowman building later!

Snowboo · 08/02/2007 11:12

We have just made it in after a couple hours of snowplay!!!! I love the snow....

slinkstar · 08/02/2007 12:38

you all so lucky!!!! the kids school is open- they don't shut for anything- the head is an alccy witch (but thats a different story)
it took me ages to walk to school snow in my eyes glasses steamed up, pushchair hard to push through snow, then i had to walk 45 mins in opposite direction to take dd to drs and then back, i got home and decided i can't be assed to take her back to school through the snow for the rest of the afternoon so shes having the whole day off.
if the snow lasts we will go to the park after school. it looks mushy round here now though [disappointed]
