Mm told family after the scan last week. Think everyone is shocked but happy.
Head teacher was not in when I went to work so he will just see my email when he gets back!

Had a crazy morning. Looking after 2 nephews turned up at 8 Hmm I was knocked out as I didn't fall asleep quick after night feed.
So H let them in so I could sleep.

Then got a phone call from SIL. She had an emergency so could we look after her 3 Los. 7yr, 5yr and 6week old! Shock Crazy morning. 4 kids and 2 babies!

O won't take more than 2oz today. He is gaining weight well so do I just trust him? I don't know if something is wrong or he just isn't hungry. I really hope I'm not missing something that's wrong with him Sad

Sophiathesnowfairy · 12/04/2013 14:25

Pikz · 12/04/2013 14:50

Chasing trust him... He Wil eat when hungry. As long as he eats little and often and has wet//dirty nappies when he normally does

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 12/04/2013 15:29

Its quiet here today!

Pikz · 12/04/2013 15:43

Clearly izzy they all have babies napping in cots and aren't pinned to the sofa like me!

StuntNun · 12/04/2013 15:49

Yeah are you lot all having fun somewhere? I'm a bit bored atm, I can't quite get anything done here and DH has decided to spend the afternoon shopping with his new colleague. Shock

Pinned to sofa here! 90mins and counting....He's had all of 6oz today Sad

ValiumQueen · 12/04/2013 16:01

pikz and I thought I had a dirty mind!

I am just back from a long walk in the rain. My mum has had the girls since 11.30 as J was all-consuming. Thankfully he has had a nap whilst out. I have next to me a tub of Nutramigen Lipil 1. His next bottle will be this, so if he does not take it I am not having the struggle at bedtime. Gonna have a quick read as not really sure if I should gradually swap, like adding a scoop per feed to his usual milk, or just start with a full bottle.

ValiumQueen · 12/04/2013 16:01

chasing how is he in himself? Any sign of illness? Anything out of the ordinary?

StuntNun · 12/04/2013 16:02

Good luck VQ, hopefully you'll see an immediate improvement.

OP posts:
ChasingDaisy · 12/04/2013 16:09

He's fine in himself VQ, maybe a bit more tired than usual. He has just taken 4oz after his nap. He's not a big feeder and if he is tired and hungry he will sleep rather than feed.

ValiumQueen · 12/04/2013 16:16

I hope so stunt

chasing I would not worry then, just keep an eye on output.

PetiteRaleuse · 12/04/2013 16:18

I have a cold which is getting worse by the hour. The sore throat has started and DD1 has figured out I'm weaker than usual and playing up big time. I want to go to bed.

Have prepared a chicken and sweet potato balti for tonight. I know it is psychological but I always feel really spicy food makes a cold better.

ValiumQueen · 12/04/2013 16:45

pr not fucking fair! Fuck off illness! Food sounds fab though.

MaMaPo · 12/04/2013 17:16

I'm turning up for dinner at yours, PR. Sure, it's out of the way but that sounds delicious.

After 25 minutes looking defiant in her buggy as I walk the streets, C has nodded off. Haha! I won! She should accept defeat sooner next time.

TheDetective · 12/04/2013 17:21

Hello, sorry, I've been home all day, but running round chasing things up, dealing with shite. You know, the usual!

Which reminds me, fucking health visitors were meant to ring back so I could find out if they ever actually sent O's dietician referral. I want an appt before weaning. Just to go over things as such.

I did find that O has another appt with the consultant in the next 2-3 weeks. So that's helpful. And got the ranitidine calculated.

In other news, it's rolling day. All day. Every minute. Roll, roll, roll. Since rolling over 2 weeks ago, he hasn't bothered since. As soon as he was up today, he has just rolled. Constantly. Unless he has been feeding. Or sleeping. And even then... I think he has tried to! Bloody hell, he's fast too, he started off slowly, and has been practicing it til it is perfect.

Actually, that is something I have noticed with him. He has obsessions over things! Like one particular song, or one particular activity. Or noise. Or toy. Saying that, so does DP. He gets fixated on stuff. I remember that with DS1 too, but he was much older, over 1 anyway!

At the minute the obsessions are: Lion King, I just can't wait to be king. He wants it played over and over and over. A song from baby group that involves me sticking my tongue out. Had to do it all round Asda for him yesterday felt like a twat. And now rolling. And a high pitched squeal arghhhh!

He's also mastered the art of raspberry blowing with his tongue stuck out. It's cute. I like that one!

All these changes, all coming quickly now!

PetiteRaleuse · 12/04/2013 17:21

Just hoping it is LO's cold and not a new one to spread around.

22degrees predicted for Sunday. Going to take girls and dog for a picnic :)

Tomorrow and Sunday my village has a wine market on so will be paying that a visit tomorrow. Love wine festivals. Lots of tasting and buying cheap wine. What's not to like?

TheDetective · 12/04/2013 17:24

It dries the snot up PR!

QQ: Refluxers - erm, we have a slight problem. Water is making O puke more. What do we do? I've started offering it in a sippy cup in preparation for weaning when he actually needs water. But he takes a little sip, then pukes that plus old milk up.

Also, with all the rolling, all we are getting is vomit, absolutely everywhere. Help!!!!! I can't stop him rolling, but he voms about 5 times out of 10!

TheDetective · 12/04/2013 17:26

Good weather - jealous! Need some here! We need to get the garden sorted for summer. Needs mowing, power washing, poo cleaning, and the grass fencing off. And then the dog needs training to shit elsewhere.

Arghhhh!

ChasingDaisy · 12/04/2013 17:33

Detective did O's toy arrive?

PurplePidjin · 12/04/2013 17:37

Dixie thank you for that! I had no idea we were getting a kiddicare, will be visiting asap :o

Been to ikea and slingmeet today. Absolutely shattered, R has had lots of naps so fx for sleep tonight Hmm

Pikz · 12/04/2013 17:48

Ooh Dixie where will kiddicare be?

Det I too am struggling to give LO water so will listen eagerly to any advice. In terms of puke whilst rolling I just put towels down.

PR dinner sounds ace and lenses can fuck off.

LO has become very loud these last two days. Squawk screech squawk
