det she is actually on a touch more than max as the last GP I saw said I could go to 1.1ml 3xdaily if I felt she needed but no more. I don't often give that but did when she wasn't well. She is 12Ib 8 I think. Thereabouts. The GP also mentioned changing the dose to twice daily at 6 months.
She suggested I might do this now as p doesn't feed overnight. I haven't changed anything yet but will speak to the consultant when I get the appointment.

Kyzordz · 12/04/2013 08:20

Qq guys, promise I'll catch up later. E fed at 7 and was sick the entire feed after coughing :( when do I try feeding him again? Is he less likely to throw up if I feed him little and often today?

Thanks quiche, back later, just desperate for shower as covered in vom

horseylady · 12/04/2013 08:34

kyz routinely happens here (entire breakfast is generally something like the scene from the exorcist) he's not hungry so I just feed him when he's next due a feed. Honestly happens 4/7 days. If its not breakfast it's another feed.

ChunkyChicken · 12/04/2013 08:35

kyz I would suggest lots of saline spray to clear mucous because that makes them cough/sick & fills their stomach. Then offer a small amount when he seems hungry again, maybe in an hr or less, and do little & often so his stomach isn't so full. If I were you, I'd just forget the routine for today whilst he's under the weather.

Dixiebell · 12/04/2013 09:25

Hello all, I feel like a bit of a lurker now as I rarely get time to catch up, let alone post. But just to say the sleepy dust drop worked its magic last night as Teddy managed only one wake up at 3. Hoorah. We had a night of 2-hourly wake ups earlier this week. I can manage once.

Also, Ds1 has a very much adored jellycat bunny. Called Rabbit. Those of you who have spares hidden away (we don't, living life dangerously), remember to rotate them. DS1 would certainly not be fooled by a lovely clean, soft new Rabbit in place of his worn out, matted-furred, grubby old Rabbit! He'd be devastated. Whenever Rabbit's had to go in the washing machine it's been traumatic. Can't even sneak him into wash at night as he sleeps with Rabbit firmly clamped to his chest. Might post a photo on FB of the wash trauma actually...

Dixiebell · 12/04/2013 09:28

Oh and was just about to get in car with Teddy yesterday to drive to new kiddicare shop in Hedge End, when I luckily checked online to find it opens in 12 days' time! Lucky I checked, would have been mightily peed off after a wasted 45 min drive.. A trip to Guildford and buying things for mummy instead was undertaken as compensation.

ValiumQueen · 12/04/2013 09:44

So far the Gaviscon is stopping the vomiting and doing fuck all else. Except giving him hiccups. Every bottle has given him hiccups. Drool seems less though. He slept well overnight with only one waking for a quick bf, but is nap dodging today. Very tired but as soon as horizontal is doing the back arching, coughing, crying thing - even when put down asleep. I will put him in the pushchair shortly and drag the other two out to get the new formula.

ValiumQueen · 12/04/2013 09:45

dixie I would love to go to that shop. I bet it will be awesome. I have had very good dealings with them online.

Bryzoan · 12/04/2013 09:58

G has had about a month of being unsettled and having green runny poos and bad skin. I'm thinking I ought to try cutting dairy. How do you dairy free bfers get enough calcium?

ChunkyChicken · 12/04/2013 10:07

I'm living dangerously... I'm upstairs getting dressed post-shower MNing whilst DD is downstairs, playing with play-doh!! Shock

Elizadoesdolittle · 12/04/2013 10:28

dixie I love the kiddiecare shop at lakeside. I wish it had been open before E was born, having said that DH's bank a/c is probably glad it wasn't!

Very similar night with E that we've had for the past week so think she's found her night time routine, for the minute anyway until something changes.

TheDetective · 12/04/2013 10:34

Ahem.

Slept through.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

MaMaPo · 12/04/2013 10:43

[side-eye at Detective]

3 feeds, 5 wakes last night. Ugh. Onto her second nap already. At least I can sit on my arse while she sleeps.

Good thinking dixiebell, I must buy a couple more soft monkeys for my monkey. SHe is starting to use it to sleep in the buggy; when she's unswaddled she can have it in bed too.

TheDetective · 12/04/2013 11:01

So, quiche power required!

Bought DS1 an xbox from a private seller on a facebook selling page last night. DP picked it up at 9pm. (Bought it so he doesn't play inappropriate games in front of O).

Checked it first thing this morning, and it doesn't work. The seller claimed it was in full working order, pointed out some problems with it, but I asked does it play games and he said yes. It doesn't.

As far as I am aware it is caveat emptor, but, if the buyer lied, and you can prove this, you have come back.

So we have proof he lied. We contacted him, he is being a prize one knob as expected. We have his address - it's local, so DP is going to go round there with it, and I've already told him I want the money back for it.

Any suggestions? Also taking DP's scary stepdad too.

DS1 is bloody gutted.

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 12/04/2013 11:05

Thanks for the condolonces. Hubby is ok. It's just crazy, he hadn't been to a funeral since he was ten and this will be his 5th since July!

Lovely to see you post cacacaz but maybe not a great time of night to be awake!! I seen your pregnancy pic on FB, that's some bump! I don't know what I weighed when J was born but only think I put on 3kg during pregnancy. My problem is I was overweight for that read obese before falling pregnant. I had lost some weight as I had to to be prescribed clomid, I had gotten my BMI down from 36 to 31. It's now 32 as I put in a stone due to the medication to prevent me becoming unwell. Way better than the 3 stone I put on when on it previously! I now have 3stone and 1lb to lose until I'm at my goal...it feels a LONG way off!!

We had only one feed last night but he didn't go down until midnight and was up at 7.30am so it's not exactly as good as it sounds!!

I hope you manage out for new prescription vq

I'm getting ready to head to my mum and dads. Dad has offered to babysit the kids while mum and I pop into the very pathetic town centre for a wee bit of shopping!

ValiumQueen · 12/04/2013 11:59

detective would it not be wiser to start a dispute through eBay rather than risk a confrontation?

TheDetective · 12/04/2013 12:08

It's facebook VQ.

MadamGazelleIsMyMum · 12/04/2013 12:10

Well, DS has had a final settle at nursery today before he starts on Monday! He was very happy apparently, the baby room opens out to the gardens where the big guys play, and while the babies were outside DD's room came to play, and apparently there was quite the sibling reunion awwwww

ValiumQueen · 12/04/2013 12:18

detective ah yes. Apologies Blush does the FB selling group have any advice for this? My local one has a conditions page. Hope you get a resolution.

ValiumQueen · 12/04/2013 12:19

madame very sweet. When DD2 was crying they used to fetch DD1 in to comfort her.

MissMummy1 · 12/04/2013 12:20

Kirrin yep, M is the other quiche sleep dodger. Sad In the past 24 hours she has slept 45mins max. She is sooo wide awake and alert unlike us I don't know how she does it! Luckily DP now has a week of shore leave, so in theory I should get a wee bit of sleep while he takes a stint at sleep deprivation!!

GT how did you get on telling work? Also do you family/ILs know now? Sorry if I have missed this.

Pikz · 12/04/2013 12:37

I am a big fan of the cape!!! 12 hours!!!! I feel like a new woman.

Well done mini detective and mini VQ!

Kirrin and MM hope it works for you soon Brew

Pikz · 12/04/2013 12:39

I am blaming garden for the fact I feel broody and would love twins!!!

Madam that is so cute!!

kirrinIsland · 12/04/2013 13:24

Blimey mm N isn't quite that bad! She does do 4-5 hours over night, albeit in short chunks. How on earth are you coping. I feel like shit! (my phone corrected that to ship - 'tis very polite!)
