Reastie- sending you some hugs. X

Debka- Grin at your role playing. Poor imy with her sore lip/chin. Dh gets his results tomorrow .

I had a busy day with work, I had 3 little ones (I had my friends dd as a favour) 20 months, 2 yrs and 9 month old. Sheesh, it was knackering! Then 3 boys after school.
Its my dbro's16th birthday, I'm taking him to see Mumford and Sons as his present, his wee face was a picture when I told himSmile.

Right, I'm off to bed ( hopefully sleep for a few hours). Hope you are all doing well?

Terrible reastie her poor family it just shows how vulnerable we are. I have heard quite a few cases like it through my sister (Neo natal nurse) that's why I was so scared of having d.
blizy this must make you sad too.
congrats on job ponyo which company is it with? Are you supporting them at home or in placement? Will be interesting. I've had some crazy cases lately seems like people won't be told!
Mil has got her manipulative way again over holiday. She is now paying so we have no excuse. I have resigned myself to it but when I board the plane wearing my pink cowboy hat and swigging a Budweiser singing "here we go" she will rue the day she insisted.
I am planning to hire a 2 seater car and bugger off with Ella to the beach everyday ha ha leave them to their exercise and meal plans.

Come on blizy don't keep us waiting re: results! [impatient]

ledkr I Grin at the thought of you getting on the aeroplane doing that - please do it!!! I googled where you said you were going to and I can see why you might not be that excited to go. I guess it's nice of them to pay for you all though, although I hope that doesn't mean they feel entitled to have say on who does what the whole time. I hate feeling like I've been manipulated though, really gets under my skin. I'm sure you'll have a lovely time Hmm though. Didn't mizk go away with the ILs? Have you got any advice Mizk? What does Ella think about it all? When are you off?

Great advice wiggs. Reastie I will not be doing anything I don't want to its not that active place now it's a villa in Portugal in may. I'm quit looking forward to watching their oddness bil gf has already said she can't share cutlery cos of her OCD I reckon it will be like a sit com watching mil trying to control everyone and fil obsess about next meal.
Tbh the only way ill cope is by going off alone and taking early nights with my I pad and a large glass of wine.
D woke last night and came in with us she tried to sleep on my head till 5 before I put her back on her cot till 8. Another tired day then. Does anyone find the babies who hey in the morning? She's great for an hour then starts to whine won't play with toys or anything just wants to whinge

Morning Smile

Ledkr A woke at 6 and came in with us and slept on me til 8, that is v unusual usually she jumps about after five minutes. She was snoring in my ear tho so I couldn't sleep Hmm
Thanks about the job, it's with women's aid, supporting kids in their own homes/after school I think.
If you meant whingey in the morning then yes Hmm A doesn't really play with her toys, she's clinging to me a bit and standing in a plastic bowl at the minute. I'm looking forward to hearing about all the weirdness from your hol now Grin

Blizy good news! what's next for you and dh new baby making?!

Dp had a gig in Bristol last night so didn't get back til 4am. Aibu thinking he needs to say no to trekking about for gigs for a bit?! He's stressed with work, tired because A is usually up early and will sleep in now but that means A and I are stuck downstairs til he gets up - the shower is next tithe bedroom and noisy iyswim. He's in London soon and it's on a week night Hmm

Got to go A keeps opening the freezer and wanting ice cream, we don't have anyConfused don't know where she's got that from.

Ooh quiet ain't it?! Grin

I have a question - A keeps saying "hurt, weewee/poopoo" and has been crying when she wees - I guess it is because she says wee when she's crying. The other day she was quite happy, chatting away and all of a sudden visibly winced and cried because of wee-ing. Her poos are a bit hard so might be hurting too. Should I take her to docs? Don't know if it could be cystitus or something? She drinks ok amounts of water but not loads.

Thanks y'all, hope youre having nice Sunday evenings, A just gone to bed and I'm trying to see if theres anything good on tv tonight (doesn't look like it!)

Ponyo- she might have a wee uti? One o my old mindees used to do that that a lot when she had a uti. Hope you have had a nice weekend?

Kevin Bridges was hilarious! We had a day if doing nothing yesterday and today had mil over for dinner- steak pie Sunday Yum!Grin

Report
wigglesrock · 14/10/2012 21:10

ponyo I'd take her to GP, could be nothing but as blizy says might be uti - if it possible I would see if you could get a wee sample of her wee Grin to bring in, so they can test right away.

blizy glad you enjoyed the show Grin

We had a fab time last night, dinner was so yummy and it was a good laugh.

Party today was great, really loud, they had another drumming circle, which the girls loved Grin and the bestest cake ever!!

Ponyo yes definitely get her checked put some sterile cotton wool in get nappy and squeeze out into a sterilised bottle. It could be that she is just aware of going. Delilah Says ouch about everything, Even when I let her go in the swimming pool With her armbands on And the other day when a little boy got a bit close.
Boring day today and a whiney soul destroying baby I even started a thread about it

Hey all,

ponyo poor A, listen to the Wise Ones, they all think they know what to do Grin Congrats on the job btw, when do you start?

ledkr link to whiny baby thread? Sorry she's being so grim, is she getting enough sleep?

wiggles more info on the cake please!

Had a manic weekend, did a buffet for 50 on Saturday which nearly finished me off, honestly, I have a kitchen the size of a small shoebox, and 2 annoying children! Worked tonight and last night too. BUT today we went to Imogen's first birthday party- Naughty Nancy's from pre school (she snatches, apparently like Imy doesn't). It was really sweet, about 10 little girls all v v excited, decorating fairy cakes and playing pass the parcel. I got a bit competitve on Imy's behalf Blush. I am so going to be one of those pushy mothers, the shame...

Thanks everyone, I will make docs appt. blizy what exactly is a urinary tract infection - how is it treated? Your weekend sounds lovely! Mine was good ta, nothing too exciting but that was fine with me :)

ledkr GENIUS idea about catching the wee! I saw your thread, meant to comment sorry, might go and bump it now and share some of A's whinging Grin

wiggles Grin at the drumming circle, sounds like you've had a lovely weekend too.

deb Thanks, I have to wait for my crb and havn't handed in my notice yet so at least 4 weeks til start date. Tomorrow I can tell everyone I've got this new job, only my boss knows at the mo, will be interesting! I can't believe the amount you do buffet wise, I couldn't do that just with A at home with me! Wonderwoman deb Wink Love the description of the Naughty Nancy, so funny Grin

Speaking of which, we went to a friends birthday and there was A's 4 year old friend there, she gave A her barbie for a bit which A loved, then when she wanted it back A kept whinging "share, shaaare" Hmm Grin It works both ways you know!
