Glad to here your little one is better

DD2 is back to her old self except the whole eating thing -she just won't! We were really spoilt with DD1 she would eat anything and everything and to a large extent still does, bt DD2 is sooooo fussy and mealtimes are a knightmare.

hello all, hope you had a nice weekend

mumma and katz - nice to hear the little ones are doing better. my dd only ever had a couple of sneezes and a bit of stuffy nose, huge relief for me but i guess its only a matter of time.
about food,dd is far keener on finger food and tries to get what we are eating, i think if we had dinner at the same time she would be eating much more, we try at lunch over the weekend and she mostly feeds herself, but regarding portions i can't say its 3 meals, i usually offer 4-5 small
portions a day.

tea - ouch at the burning head!

kvg - on the subject of nork tamming i wear a shock absorber and it does the job (36FFBlush).
the worst is just getting started and walking out the door. the river path is 2min from my front door and honestly no matter how cold it is just so gorgeous out there i always feel better afterwards.

hope everyone else is ok take care and have a good week, apparently spring is comingWink

morning everyone,

I haven't been back on since I first posted, so I just thought I'd check in. DS2 ( has got to 9 months now already! Where does the time go?!) He is really getting good at his crawling and pullling him self up on the settee. DS1 is havihg trouble keeping his toys to himself and is having a quick lesson in sharing!

I think we've got nother tooth coming through so that will be 5! (3 top and two bottom)His favourite things are: Food, real mummy daddy food not baby food! The washing machine is good to watch and he loves the vaccuum cleaner. He is into everything!

I've just done a lovely little keepsake footprint and handprint of him, it has a holder for a photograph next to it. Getting the handprint was a barrel of laughs, but we got there in the end! It's a good kit and we picked it up for just over a tenner too!

Anyway hope you are all well and the babies are well too. Have a good week!
Love Mumatuks and Babytuks xx

EYM-Lovely to hear from you.Glad you are feeling a bit better and great to hear about GeorgiaSmile.Good luck for tomorrow-it is quite daunting going to a baby group on your own,but once you're there, you'll be fine.I go to 3 a week now, including one on my own(and Oscar of course!).

I am now officially unemployed-it was my last day at work today.I was really embarrassed as they did another collection and gave me a lovely pair of sapphire earrings.I don't think it'll sink in for a while-me not working,as I've worked continously for the last 17 years. It's going to be great not having to use public transportGrin.

Glad the Junies seem to be getting betterSmile.

Muma3-Hope your dd2 gets well soon.

Ds has now put all the weight back on and more, but for the last week he's been having an extra 20oz's and waking up at 5am instead of his normal 7.30amShock.That Gastroenteritis must've really knocked his routine and his naps have also now changed from afternoon to morning which is a bit of a pain, especially where the baby groups are concerned.
We put his swing up in the garden yesterday which he absolutely loved and he seems to be growing so much that he doesn't seem like a baby anyway-more like a little boyShock.

My diet is also going really well-I've lost 22lb's in just 4 weeks,so really pleased.Still finding it very easy and have told dh that if I can keep up the weight loss,I should've lost another 3 stone by June and hopefully we're going to "seriously" start trying for baby number 2ShockGrin.Hope everyone is well and Giddy-those parsnip balls sound deeeeeliciousGrin.

Hi All

Well this week i finally feel like the fog has lifted! not sure why but i feel a lot more well i guess content! I know i was a bit blue just after DD2 was born and i thought i was over it but this week i feel so much better! so i guess i wasn't! i think hormonally i'm more back to normal have had AF now first one since Sept 2004!

Have got to crack on and apply for a job that has come up at work, a permenant lectureship post.

DD2 has finally settled into nursery now and only gives a half hearted objection to being left and by the time i have hung her coat up she is smiling and playing with the other children. Her walking is coming on, she can now do around 10-15 steps and happily launches herself across the room! We were at a friends house, and she just kept letting go and heading for the hallway and stairs, she just looks so funny becuase she puts her hands above her head to walk! have put a photo on the june website for you all to see!

Love to everyone and apologies for the very me me me post!

Afternoon ladies Smile

Katz / EYM glad to hear you're both feeling better, depression can be so debilitating and people find it hard to understand when they can't 'see' a physical problem, so good on both of you Smile

SFX - well done keeping up the running - a bit more practice and you may still be able to go for the marathon Wink he he he I have a friend who's got a place in the marathon twice now and each time she's had to loose the place due to pregnancy...I've told her to just admit she doesn't want to do it, much cheeper in the long run than all these kids as a subtle excuse GrinGrinGrin

Bubb - woohoo on the weight loss, that's FAB and wow! for the earings, how lovely of them. So as a lady of leisure now are you going to be too busy to post because you're out lunching, at the salon, shopping, having your nails done...Wink

Mumatuks lol, my ds also has had a quick lesson in sharing too Smile

Muma - hope dd2 is feeling better soon, x

Katz - beautiful pics btw, and bless her for walking around with her arms up - I have a lovely image in my head and a daft grin now and the boss is wondering if I'm alright!

ohh talking pics, Bubb lovely one's of Oscar too, are they recent? Know what you mean about them not being babies anymore, when dd has her shoes and poncho on she looks so much like a girl and not a baby it's sad in a way mind you not sad enough to make me want 3! Grin

SFX-Great news about the running, but rather you than me,hee hee!
Tea-My first day as a SAHM and I'm already enjoying it.Went to a baby froup this afternoon, have another to go to on Thursday and busy meeting friends inbetween.Lunches would be good except I'm not eating anythingShock.
By the way...the picture of Oscar in the swing was taken on sunday after we'd put it in the garden and the other one was taken about 3 weeks ago.
Katz-your pics are lovely!

Oh, loving the new pics of our little ones! I can't believe how far they have come, ds is 9 months tomorrow (and greetings to all the other 22nd Juners!)

I was showing ds his play gym today as we have to take it back to my SIL for the forthcoming arrival of the new baby. He used to adore nothing more than staring at the yellow elephant, for WEEKS literally. And now he was like "yeah, seen that, what else can I destroy?". How time marches on!

KVG... I'd love to come to the Northern Meet-Up! (back at home for me!! Any excuse to come up. Grin)

Can I ask where the photo album is that some of you mention? I'd like to add a pick of babytuks if possible!

Hope you are all well, it's great to read the stories of other little ones the same age!

Oh and just a real saddo thought, have we got a baby for each day of June? We are the 17th. (I know I know, that's my reputation gone out the window! Shock Grin Blush)
