The smell as they died off, memphis? Shock Confused Wine Are we talking refusing to leave the house stench, disguisable with liberal application of perfume to nether regions or only personally aware?? I work in an open plan office and ride a packed bus daily... Smelling like rotting flesh may not go down well and make me heave!

I'm also slightly traumatised by the idea they might want access to deal with banding internal piles, and how that comes to pass. Confused Since I suspect I have some hiding away there too. You really do leave your dignity at the door when you have children, don't you?!

The supermarkets round here are packed at weekends, you can barely move the trolley round. M wants to switch regularly from walking to cuddles to trolley to shoulders or makes her displeasure known to everyone present. If she's walking, I have to trail her round constantly to stop her disappearing into the crowds, demolishing the displays or being run over by other trolleys. Between all of that, we have to try and get food into the trolley. It takes forever!

Ocado give guarentees for expiry dates for their products, which is very helpful in meal planning. :) We get a delivery 3 times a fortnight, usually for the smallest amount they deliver for (I have a delivery pass) so we have regular topups for fruit, veg, bread, etc. We don't eat meat often, so that's not a concern.

Transition from cot to bed was fine here, viksam. We have a harder time getting M to come out of her bed, rather than getting her to stay in it! Wink She loves being able to climb in herself and snuggle down. Weekdays she's usually still sleeping and grumbles at being woken when we get her at 7:15am.

Weekends she stays in bed and chatters to herself when she wakes (around 7:30am) until she hears DH or I moving. Then she'll come into our room and scramble into bed with me whoever is still there. We then have to hide under the covers and doze so we can burst out and surprise DH when he comes back. Grin

Manic few days here... Out last night, friends over tonight, down to London tomorrow and visiting the theatre, then attending my work's team building day on Friday, then M's birthday on Sat, then back up North on Sun, then back to work for a rest on Mon...which is also our wedding anniversary. We might celebrate by doing nothing for a change. Wink

spirael hers were internal mostly, she went for the camera up there to have a look and the doc said it looks like grape city up there! she was offered sedation but she didnt bother, she said you can feel the pinging as they release the band, obviously they die off and come out when you go toilet so thats when it smells, also when she farted, im actually laughing my head off as I write! but obviously I have never had it happen to me, she just enjoys telling me these things! She said its the best option as operating on them you would need a few days off and I think she said the injections are uncomfortable, my sister works with old people and used to also work on the 'bum dept' so is clued up on it Grin A male friend of mine has a terrible diet, has only ate veg if in a beef stew so it tastes meaty, eats McDonalds or Burger King every single day and has done since he had worked (past 12 years) he has had piles of some degree for over 10 years, he has had them cut off, pushed up etc but they always appear again, he is now booked in for banding, but he refuses to change his diet so I dont know if it will work for him!
viks im sure it will all be fine, try and enjoy yourself and drink wine!
I waited in all afternoon for a parcel yesterday got told it was between 2 and 6, it arrived at 9.40 pm! fuming is an understatment.
My friend is coming over shortly for wine, and a gossip, DH is turning into Groomzilla! I think he would be in his element on dont tell the bride!

Spirael · 04/07/2012 14:12

Argh... I was hoping that it'd be some kind of magic pill or easy non-regional injection to make them go away! Instead it sounds like even more of the medical professionals in the area will be examining my nether regions in detail. And this time there's a camera involved...

Oh well, despite feeling ancient at the moment, I just got ID'd for alcohol! Shock Hmm Grin Evidently I look young, even if I don't feel it!

viksam · 04/07/2012 21:00

ID'd wow, i would seriously kiss anyone who did that for real!! I feel ancient right now as well but havent got the horridness to deal with that u have spirael It sounds shit, i hope what ever you have to endure that it clears them up once and for all. Cant believe you have to wake M up bless her, i can not wait to have a night with no wake ups, i think life will be just wonderful when that happenes! Im still feeding F in the night as he is waking up crying for it, and hes taking a good 5-6oz, im thinking he must really want it, do you guys think i should try and cut this down now or carry on and take his lead.
chu is B any easier to settle now, do u put him down awake? How many feeds is he having in the night? I really dont want to have to do cc with F, its not the route i want to go down at all.

memphis83 · 04/07/2012 21:15

spirael I got ID'd in Oxford last weekend I was really upset as I was with a big group and they were saying all pubs in area would be informed and I wouldnt be let in, I said being nearly 30 and considering botox they were crazy to ask me...they let me have a drinl then all my friends protested about how sensible I am, I was mortified I dont want to be sensible!!!!

memphis83 · 05/07/2012 11:22

Gah! Mums just been docs and looks like she may have skin cancer :-( shes neing rushed through over next week or so to get it out.
At work and im shattered, having my photo took for charity calender later and look a right state got to get some make up on after work!

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 05/07/2012 12:02

Sorry to hear that memph

Chulita · 05/07/2012 18:40

Ack memphis, that's horrible. Hopefully they've caught it quickly so it'll be straight forward to deal with.

I'm reading but have had bro and sil round so don't ger on the laptop and typing on this phone does my head in.I'll catch up tomoz hopefully.

memphis83 · 05/07/2012 18:50

Im sure it will be fine but its a mole ive asked her to have checked for years, in recent year its gone black, really patchy shape and swollen in the middle, she only had it checked as she was going about a growth on her head and he asked if she had anything else!
We had easy tea of sausages...and I burnt them!

WhatSheSaid · 05/07/2012 19:23

Sorry to hear that memphis, like Chul says, if it's caught early it's 100% treatable.

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 05/07/2012 19:26

I have quite a few moles, had two removed over the years. One at 11yo and the other at 26yo and I regularly get paranoid ask dh whether he's noticed a difference in them. Hope all is well and she gets it removed quickly.

LittlestBoyChaotic's birthday tomorrow :)

memphis83 · 05/07/2012 19:50

Ah mlic how exciting, I cant believe they are turning two now.

Well after seeing my gross fat back on the photos we had took today I need a miracle to sort out, hoping once they get printed it will spur me on to lose fat! I have done an hour on the wii every day this week!

viksam · 05/07/2012 20:50

memphis DH's mom has just hd a growt removed and all is well, hopefully it will be removed asap.
chu hope all is ok with you, what did you do about sleeping arrangements in the end?
mylife what are you doing for his birthday, wow, its come around so quickly really as so much has happened to us in that two years, for me almost too much to cope with!!
Had a proper shit night last night, F woke first at 3, i thought 'great' quick feed, job done..........NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, he couldnt settle due to his cough, the D woke and chatted, shouted, growled etc for about and hour and 20 mins, i settled him twice, medicated once and told off once! last time i heard him before pasing out was about 4.40, there was obviously something wrong but what??? Who knows cos he wasnt crying and medication didnt help, it was just like the old days, i really would turn inside out if he regressed to doing that again night after night.
Trudy cake stac KK and everyone else where are you all??????
cake we need a 2 yr survey soon!!
Im gona go to bed to read some more of my book......nooooo not 50 shades!! but i might buy it on my kindle, might see what all the fuss is about!

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 05/07/2012 22:33

Not doing anything vik, I have to work :( Maybe pizza hut after work but we'll see...dh and I are low carbing so not sure how pizza hut would pan out Wink

I would highly recommend Zumba 2 for the wii Memph. I do a 'mid-length' class which is 45 mins and it tells me I burn approx 450calls and I get a proper sweat on. You also have the shred don't you? It really does work if you put the effort in.

It's sooooo hot here, I've just put birthday boy back in his own room because the pair of them were like a couple of fried eggs in DS1s bed. I caught the sun today. I have tan lines. Devo'd. Yet my mam got soaked caught in a thunder storm at her house and my friend's son's school carpark was flooded when they left his sports day Confused. They're only about 15/20 miles away!

memphis83 · 05/07/2012 23:12

mlic I have been doing just dance and also the boxing and tennis, I am going to start shread over the weekend I reckon, I really dont mind it once I get into it, its just getting the motivation to do it.
Last week we were enjoying the hot sun in the garden and 10 mins up the road the school flooded so bad they had to evacuate the school and close it for a few days as it then burst sewage pipes in the school! This weather is madness!
vik my mum is a typical Mills and Boon reader she used to read hundred of them when I was younger, she read the first 50 shades, thought it was ok, the 2nd one she says is dire, very repetitive and she says even in the first flushes of lust she cannot believe they would have sex that much Grin I cannot read something which involves 'whipping out a tampon' a little part of me died when my mum said that to me!

WhatSheSaid · 06/07/2012 04:15

Dh bought 50 Shades for me last week Confused, I think he fell for the hype and thought it would turn me into a sex-crazed beast (he wishes). It's shit, so badly written, it's like a Mills and Boon but with multiple really crap sex scenes. I had to stop reading it, it was so bad.

Chulita · 06/07/2012 08:19

Only have 2 mins but LOOK AT THE TIME s is still asleep (after dh told him to back to bed at 7)

Chulita · 06/07/2012 08:20

Happy Birthday W!

Woodlands · 06/07/2012 09:19

Happy birthday W!

Shit night here too - why is it always Thursday nights when I have to be up early for a full day's work? I ended up gettign the sofa bed out in J's room and lying down there with him for a while. When I did go back to bed I couldn't get to sleep at all. grr.

memphis83 · 06/07/2012 09:54

L is sleeping great since getting him off of formula and cutting down to one bottle a day. weather is dire here and I have 2 lots of muffins in, lemon center ones and choc and fudge chip.
vik your mil's growth? Was it cancerous? Im trying to look if they get it all out will that be it or will chemo too, her other moles were tumours but benign.

viksam · 06/07/2012 10:14

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm muffins sound great!! Yes it was cancerous, it was like a little horn on her shin, shes had it completly cut out and had to have a skin graft to cover the hole, no chemo as no other signs of anything anywhere.
chu OH MY GOD!!! be interesting to see what he is like for the rest of the day, i wondr wether he will settle for a sleep this afternoon. Did he actually get up this morning or did dh just go in to him?
Myst go get F up, he is SS for every nap now so im rlly hoping it wil help him do it at night!
Off to a BBQ at DH's work later on with children so fingers crossed we dont get all that rain down here!!

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 07/07/2012 08:21

Thanks for the birthday wishes ladies. They baked him a cake at nursery and he got a peppa pig cake at home too and tea out at McDonald's. What more could a boy want Wink I think today will be spent mainly...playing on the trampoline!

I got 10hrs of (broken) sleep last night and by god I feel better for it!

How was the BBQ vik. I have the odd slip up (like birthday cake) but we're low carbing too and really like it.

viksam · 07/07/2012 10:00

Glad u had a nice day mylife
Its shitting it down here and we have already got ice age on, what the hell are we gona do for the rest of the day?? Im thinking this might be a good weekend to give him his birthday present, its the Vtec toot toot garage, im dreading it cos i know the noise is going to drive me nuts! but if it keeps him happy thats all that matters. The BBQ was ok, such a shame it was raining, all D wanted to do was go outside. Good night last night, unfortunatly D woke once but was easily settled and F woke once for a feed and went straight back down. Unfortunatly both were up and noisy at 6.30, they were both happy enough but no way we could sleep through the racket so i got them up and left DH in bed for a further two hours.....nice!! My turn tomorrow i hope! I holed up in the conservatory to save DH hearing us but the noise of the rain was sooooo loud, i can't believe it's so bad! What's everyone doing this weekend?

DesperateHousewife21 · 07/07/2012 16:07
