The smell as they died off, memphis?
Are we talking refusing to leave the house stench, disguisable with liberal application of perfume to nether regions or only personally aware?? I work in an open plan office and ride a packed bus daily... Smelling like rotting flesh may not go down well and make me heave!
I'm also slightly traumatised by the idea they might want access to deal with banding internal piles, and how that comes to pass.
Since I suspect I have some hiding away there too. You really do leave your dignity at the door when you have children, don't you?!
The supermarkets round here are packed at weekends, you can barely move the trolley round. M wants to switch regularly from walking to cuddles to trolley to shoulders or makes her displeasure known to everyone present. If she's walking, I have to trail her round constantly to stop her disappearing into the crowds, demolishing the displays or being run over by other trolleys. Between all of that, we have to try and get food into the trolley. It takes forever!
Ocado give guarentees for expiry dates for their products, which is very helpful in meal planning. :) We get a delivery 3 times a fortnight, usually for the smallest amount they deliver for (I have a delivery pass) so we have regular topups for fruit, veg, bread, etc. We don't eat meat often, so that's not a concern.
Transition from cot to bed was fine here, viksam. We have a harder time getting M to come out of her bed, rather than getting her to stay in it!
She loves being able to climb in herself and snuggle down. Weekdays she's usually still sleeping and grumbles at being woken when we get her at 7:15am.
Weekends she stays in bed and chatters to herself when she wakes (around 7:30am) until she hears DH or I moving. Then she'll come into our room and scramble into bed with me whoever is still there. We then have to hide under the covers and doze so we can burst out and surprise DH when he comes back.
Manic few days here... Out last night, friends over tonight, down to London tomorrow and visiting the theatre, then attending my work's team building day on Friday, then M's birthday on Sat, then back up North on Sun, then back to work for a rest on Mon...which is also our wedding anniversary. We might celebrate by doing nothing for a change.
