Oi I remember playing Yahtzee & various card games when I went camping as a child.

Aethel A tooth already oh my!

Darcie has taken herself off to bed and requested a hot chocolate which I will make for her shortly. Sky is trying to roll over again but I think because I'm watching she's like you've got no chance mum Grin

Going to catch up with Silent Witness tonight

seven77 · 04/05/2012 18:33

Personally I'm a boggle fan, but DH won't play because he's rubbish he doesn't like it.

Sorry you've been feeling rough oi. Eva's not been herself today, just more sicky and grumpy.

I don't like bank holidays. The town gets far too busy with tourists, and DHbeing in the pub trade just means he's busier therefore more tired and stressed.

MissRee · 04/05/2012 18:50

We're big UNO fans here! DSS gets a lot a bit stroppy when he loses though Grin To be fair, it's not very often cos he's pretty good at it!

mopsytop · 04/05/2012 19:04

Scrabble, min

mopsytop · 04/05/2012 19:05

Scrabble, monopoly and ticket to ride here. And have them all on the iPad which is fab!

Rashkakeller · 04/05/2012 19:39

I didn't even get to have my burger because my mum made a pasta bake and garlic bread for lunch. That means I can have one next week though...

I bought dp yahtzee for Christmas and we play it with sil and bil after a takeaway. I also have a yahtzee app. so dp thinks it gives me an edge. Wally.

No plans for the weekend here, other than getting Asa's foot and hand cast done tomorrow - probably have to see mil at some point. Busy next week as have to finalise the arrangements for dd's party and bake her a chocolate cake with chocolate fudge icing (no potato!)

YBR · 04/05/2012 19:47

Tooth? crikey!
DSM I've lost count of how many Witless Silences we've got recorded now. We never seem to catch up at the moment.

Weekend plans:
Go to coffee morning and let everyone cuddle LO, probably leaving DH at home to write a sermon and I should be writing some prayers right now
Set off to GPs as soon as we can get packed on Sunday after the said service
Visit school friend, no called off; go to village fate thing, no called off; sleep while GPs cuddle LO!

YBR · 04/05/2012 20:10

Tonight LO was a struggle to get to sleep; maybe teeth but also the neighbour's music was a bit loud (now off). When I did get her down that music drowned out everything else on the baby monitor so I couldn't hear LO. Not the best state of affairs but I won't complain on this occasion as it's not frequent.

LittleMissFlustered · 04/05/2012 20:21

My big baby (9) is now camping until Monday. The boys and u have plans involving DVDs, pasta bake, crispy buns and anther assorted stuff to keep us out of mischief while she's gone:) The four year old is in his sleeping bag in bed pretending to camp:o

Nowt to report really. Hawthers towers is packed up and will be spending the majority of the day on the m1. Am dreading it....

Figgygal · 05/05/2012 06:28

10.30, 2 and 5.30 god when will this end?!? He had porridge with breakfast and carrot with dinner bottles i cant go any quicker with the food Sad. Maybe it is sleep regression rather than a growth spurt /hunger after all as he's also packing in an extra bottle and an extra oz on every one.....maybe it's both Confused

Dh is off out for the day so expect I will go back bed as soon as lo does.

Sorelip · 05/05/2012 06:34

Morning all! DS is suffering with teething so I'm up earlier than normal, but DS and I went to bed at 10pm so I can't complain. I'm just heating up a bottle whilst one of the cats demands strokes. Bit strange for her, she normally hates me.

scoobyd00 · 05/05/2012 06:57

Fed up: up at 12, 2, 5, 5.30, and finally awake at 6.30. Facing a bank holiday weekend just me and the boys- rubbish! At least the sun is shining here. Hope everyone has a much more fun filled weekend than me.

DeterminedandSpecialMum · 05/05/2012 07:19

it was a long night here up every 2 hrs. ended up bring Sky into bed with us at 3am.
need breakfast now.

aethelfleda · 05/05/2012 07:25

Small crisis: am down to my last half roll of nappy bags. This may not sound important, but I buy unscented ones in bulk off t'internet. Partly because the biodegradable omes are cheaper, and mostly because the scented ones from the shops make me feel really sick

i have some unscented ones on order.....please Mr Posty get a move on or I'll have to use samdwich bags!

Oh and Chessington was great, drizzly and a little cold, but that meant the place was deseerted amd the queues were 0-5 mins for most rides: Vampire had a ten min wait and only the mini trucks were 30 mins (we skipped those). Went on most rides twice at a rime and went to the sealife centre. The prices are shamelessly rigged ( their entry prices exclude VAT on the board, which is added at the till) but with 2for1 vouchers or tesco points it's worth it. Who used to work there again? The helpers are scripted, right? At least eight of them said "Enjoy the rest of your day guys", and I'm sure theur cheery remarks about the weather may have been encouraged too. Do you get given stock phrases?!

NorthernChinchilla · 05/05/2012 07:53

Urgh.

There is snot. Not sure if this is because I had a few drinks at the party last night, or if it's something actually brewing. DS is sneezing over everyone and everything, seems a bit below par. Think we're probably due something as we've managed to dodge the bullet of any illness so far. How're you feeling Mimsy?

DP is still in bed. He's lucked out with getting DS when he's starting to wake once or twice/feed once/sleep through, but he won't bloody go to bed at a reasonable time. He still goes off to fart around on the computer when DS goes to bed, and then will grump about being tired. Numptie.

Sympathy Tyel, it's crap when you're faced with the choice of either putting up with it and doing the work yourself, or nagging them. Been there, and the amount of times I've said to DP I'm not his maid or his mother I don't know.

Your auto correct has a good sense of humour LMF, keep it going Grin!

Wow on the tooth AWCH, it had to happen soon given the collective dribbling of this thread, the babies not the women that is, although sometimes I feel close....

Good luck for the trip hawthers!

NorthernChinchilla · 05/05/2012 08:14

Blimey, just seen, RIP MCA. That's a bit of my teenagerdom gone, and how awful, he was so young. Paul's Boutique on play today.

GeeandTee · 05/05/2012 08:17

Rubbish night here, the worst for AGES. DS was a bit moany all night so got up to check on him 4 times (was awake anyway with DD), DD very unsettled as her little nose is blocked so was awake every hour, fed her at 2.30 but she wouldn't go to sleep until 4.30 then DS woke at 5, got him back to sleep then fed DD at 6.30 and got her in bed with me. DS still asleep now! Hope it means he'll be less grumpy today.

GeeandTee · 05/05/2012 08:19

Reckon I had a total of 3 hrs sleep. Gah!

Scooby I do feel for you. Hope the weekend is more fun than you're expecting!

GeeandTee · 05/05/2012 08:29

Oh and aethel I use Sainsburys Basics nappy bags, think they're 24p for 100 and the fragrance is very very faint. I hate the powdery smelling ones.

LittleMissFlustered · 05/05/2012 08:51

I officially feel like death done over in the microwave. Those of you who are Pratchett fans might possibly understand that a little better than most >_<

Got to take my remaining big sprog to see his dad today, ten I think His Stroppy Tentaclyness and I will go find some coffee to placate mummy's headache:)

Have a good day where possible:)

Rashkakeller · 05/05/2012 09:28

LMF not a Pratchett fan but it still doesn't sound good! Hope the caffeine works its wonders for it.

Aethel I use Morrisons value ones which aren't too bad but once I got Wilkos ones and they were vile!

Ds woke me at 1.45am and 7.30am and went back down both times. Not good but not bad - feel rubbish though as have constant sinus headache and tickly cough, bleugh.

Have a good bank hols, and Scooby hope you find something nice to do - holidays must be the toughest
