Boob even! No idea what a boon is?

ILovePonyo · 10/03/2012 21:46

Grin at blizy posting on her date night, I didn't know there was an instrumental, I'll let me friend know she could maybe use that instead. Ta!

reastie A gets given exciting food but doesnt always eat it little bugger She loves plain old cheese and ham tbh. Dp (being part indian and a fan of curries) is always super chuffed when she likes spicy food Grin Wow to you seeing Leo, he is rather pretty.

Robin I'm sure ledkr is right but I'd take to the docs anyway just to be sure, bet its nothing but at least it'll put your mind at rest. I'd worry too! LEt us know.

Borg haha, alcohol breast milk make me laugh,my friend told me a story about how she used to get pissed once a week with familt then bf her son (many years ago) and then be amazed that he slept in late in the morning!

Night all, just watched Walking dead, was fab :)

debka · 10/03/2012 21:48

Hey everyone, sorry I've been AWOL, the weather's been slightly better so we've been out and about a bit more.

robin I wouldn't worry about weirdy lump, babies just get them sometimes I think.

I was a bad mummy today, we were off out for a walk so I put S's enormous wellies on which I know she can't walk in, and she fell straight over onto her face, had red marks on her nose, forehead and chin Blush

Imy is finally eating again after a week of abstinence- why can't I go off my food like that when I'm ill? Grin

Ok will try and catch up properly, have good Sundays everyone xxx

WeAreBorg · 10/03/2012 22:36

debka sometimes I make N do things I just know he can't do, or will make him fall over because I think it's funny Blush.
robin yes agree with ledkr probably a gland, if it is getting littler already sounds very reassuring.
blizy hope you're enjoying your night
ledkr glad you had a better day, dilly sounds cute on the slide, N loves extreme sports too.
off to bed, night

Four4me · 11/03/2012 09:56

Morning all!

robin funny enough my friend asked me about her dd having a little lump behind an ear. Her dr said he thought it was nothing to worry about and go back in 8 weeks to have it checked again.

All good here, Archie escaped his jabs like noahski as our nurse was skiving off sick too!! So excited as last night I booked my flights to see my sister in Belfast, so wiggles we could possibly get together. I will pm you, wondered if I could possibly take you up on the offer of a loan of a travel cot? My sister will be able to collect and return it. So funny when I was talking to her on the phone about what I needed to book, bring etc, I said 'oh my friend wiggles will be able to lend me a travel cot!!' she was like 'wtf'!!!!!

Home alone with the gang today, we are about to have a jigsaw marathon, do home work so exciting. I too did used to have a life!!!!

ledkr · 11/03/2012 11:56

I also refer to you lot as "a friend said" or " a friend of mines baby also wakes early" If only they knew.id be sectioned Shock

Another early morning here grrr. Fecking 5.45.Dh got up again though,im not sure why cos it was my turn.I pretended to be asleep Grin

Been out for a massive walk already, its lovely here,im in short sleeves.Dills is asleep in the garden.

Ella has yet more rehearsals today,i end up hanging around town whilst she is in there booooring.

blizy · 11/03/2012 16:42

A year today since our final goodbye to Zoe bear.

Dh and I had a good night, was nice to have some QT. we are lazing on the sofa today watching pacific. We were let's just say enjoying ourselves on the soda when the doorbell rang. We ignored it, a few mins later his fucking dad came in the back door, he used his key and let himself in! Shock. I have not moved so fast in my life! AngryAngry Dh was raging and took the key off him. God I am so Blush how the hell am I supposed to look him in the eye again. He got any eye full of my boobage! Shock

RobinSparkles · 11/03/2012 16:57

Oh dear Blizy Blush. What a plank of a FIL! Why couldn't he just take the hint or assume there was no one in and go home? He really is one on his own isn't he? They must have broken the mould, eh! Although, TBH it sounds like something my DM would do.

Hope you're ok today. Glad you've been able to have some quality time with DH even if FIL ruined it. Angry for you!

Thanks for your thoughts re the lump. I think that she may have one on each side (I'm not certain because I can never remember which side it was on) although one smaller than the other. That makes me pretty certain that it's glands or summat. A quick google makes it seem that way as well. I'll take her to the docs anyway but I'm pretty sure it's nowt sinister.

Four4me · 11/03/2012 17:11

Hugs to you blizy I assume the spare key was for emergencies. There is a thread on aibu about a mil and her spare key. On the other hand if this is the month you get a bfp you'll probably laugh about it one day and tell Zoe's bro/sis about getting caught in the act!!

Four4me · 11/03/2012 17:21

Actually have been thinking about it and I don't think even though we are very close I want my mum to tell be about the night I was conceived!! Yucky Grin

blizy · 11/03/2012 17:30

Yes 44me that would be weird! I just seen that thread after I posted.

Robin- I'm sure lottie is fine an it's nothing to worry about.

Ledkr- Grin at you "sleeping".

Hope you are all having a relaxing sunday.

RobinSparkles · 11/03/2012 17:32

Are you sure Four4me? It might be an interesting story! Grin

I think that my mum and dad were probably pissed at Christmas (September baby). I was a bit of a surprise.

Bleurgh!

RobinSparkles · 11/03/2012 17:37

I refer to you lot, and some things that I read on MN, as "my friend said" or "my friend's DC do this". Although, a lot of my friends in RL know each other so I bet often they think, "Who TF is this friend? She hasn't got any other friends!" Grin

Emski76 · 11/03/2012 18:01

Blizy, just popped on for a quick lurk ad had to cover m boobs on embarrassment for you. How dare FIL use his key!! Hopefully he's learned his lesson now! Will light Zoe's candle again tonight.

Robin, I always go to say 'my friend' the feel the need to explain where these friends are. I probably come across as a right saddo, tho a guy at work was asking me about mumsnet and telling him how invaluable you've all been to me and he thought it was kinda cool.

Bad mummy stakes being raised here. I put Ben on the 'thinking step' this morning and started mumsnetting and forgot about him, only for about 10 minutes but I did feel quite bad. He stayed there the whole time tho!

Have had a day to myself today, dh took the boys to in laws today as he's away with work all day. I've managed to eat a whole Easter Egg including three galaxy bars, whoops. Yum, do feel a bit sicky tho! Noah has just crapped all over the carpet tho so that could be part of the reason I feel sick!

An thinking off starting beginners tap dancing, what do y'all think?

Hope your all having good Sundays.

RobinSparkles · 11/03/2012 18:30

Emski, I'd love to start a dance class! I've always loved dancing. I think you'll have fun and I bet it's good exercise. I always wanted to do tap dancing when I was little but ended up doing disco and ballroom, which I loved. I wished I'd never given up.

reastie · 11/03/2012 19:03

ems I used to do tap. Go on, try it, it's great fun Grin . Didn't ledkr used to teach tap? And pinkie , where is she???? Last I heard she was struggling with a reflux baby I seem to recall. Sorry, side tracked there. Go on - do it Grin

blizy I partly Grin but mostly Blush [cringe] to your story. How embarrassing. Silly old man - does he never think?!

Lol at this 'my friend' mn talk. I do the same thing, only one of my friends (and actual RL friend - I do have them you know Wink ) once started saying 'who is this ever knowledgable friend? How did you meet her?' Grin

four4 I really Grin at the 'my friend wiggles' comment

Btw wiggles I was watching peppa pig earlier (with alice obv Wink )and I've decided I don't know why but Daddy Pig reminds me of Mr W's Hmm

We went to leeds castle today and had a nice picnic.

Alice has got her jabs tomorrow - not looking forward but thought I'd try cheering me her up afterwards with a trip to the pound shop. Gosh, my life is just one big excitement!

ILovePonyo · 11/03/2012 19:24

Hi all - yes yes to the "my friend says" I espcially say this to dp, who then asks who said it and I have to admit its my mn friends Grin

We have had a fab day out in the park, got a picnic and sat on a rug with A stuffing her face and making a massive mess, was great :)

blizy oh my gawd at your fil, I am cringe for you, I bet it'll be one of those things that is Never Mentioned Again Grin

reastie good luck for A's jabs. Anya was a fine (ish) the same day but really upset and crying all the time the next day. Lets hope now I've said that A is fine!

emski I've eaten loads of mini egg easter nests, they are yum Blush Soryy but I laughed a bit at Ben being left on the thinking step!

ledkr good for you pretending to sleep :) A woke up at 6.15, its not too bad b'cos it was getting light, 5.45 is too bloody early though.

Hi everyone else

A has started to hate bathtime, since last week, she just stands up in the bath and cries to get out Hmm She used to love it and have a crawl around the bath and a play, now bath time takes about 2 mins. Weird.

wigglesrock · 11/03/2012 20:06

Ponyo Anna has done that in the bath for the past four weeks or so, its the strangest thing but Mr W remembers one of the other two being exactly the same but can't remember which one Blush, so it obviously didn't last forever Grin

blizy Mr Ws mum caught us in a "compromising" situation, only took us 20 years to get over it Grin

I do the my friend, or I heard ..... re stuff on MN. I did try and explain Mumsnet to my Mum a few years ago but she was a bit weirded out by it and gave me a lecture on the dangers of the internet Grin My sister had a nosy a few weeks ago just after she had E but she didn't like it Shock

Four4Me just have a think about what you might need/I might be able to help with and let me know. Yay - looking forward to it Grin

Worked yesterday day and night, we were absolutely humped! My feet are too old for long shifts Grin

OP posts:
ledkr · 11/03/2012 21:28

blizy I cant help but smile at stupid fil finally getting his comeuppance, lets face it even a numbskull like him must be mortified Grin I remember looking up and seeing the pils faces cupped peering through my fucking window! I was bloody fuming but secrely wished wed been shagging/

Yes reastie used to teach adult tap,its a pity we arent nearer we could have had a feb thread class and put on a show. Grin

My sister is struggling with bf and the baby is very unsettled and she has had terrible mastitis,i keep telling her to go on the bf boards and she looks at me as if im mental Hmm I so wish id have had mn when i got divorced,i really needed support and you feelas if you bore people in rl/

Dills was super whingey today.Dh was revising so i was on my own,i had to ask for help at 4pm cos she was destroying my very being and soul Grin I wish she wasnt such a misery it spoils it really. When dh took over me and Ella went for a massive bike ride and ended up at my mates in the village drinking red wine till 8pm.Id left a chicken in the oven and roasties but luckily my modern forward thinking resoursfull dh had TURNED IT OFF!!!

ledkr · 11/03/2012 21:33

BTW a few years ago we went to majorca with my mate and her dd.She had the girls in with her one night when Ella was crying,so she bought her into our bedroom to find us in full flow ahem, she hurried her out explaining us as wrestling (that old chesnut) and we could stil hear her laughing about an hour later as we sat mortified.

RobinSparkles · 11/03/2012 21:42

You all need to move nearer to me then we can have a Feb thread dance class. How fun would that be? Well I guess we could all compromise and move to the centre of the UK then? No?

I just wanted to say: those of you who struggle with DCs not sleeping through - do you give them anything to eat straight before they go to bed? I've been giving L a weetabix with milk before her bottle at bedtime and

RobinSparkles · 11/03/2012 21:43

Grin x posted Ledkr!

k2togm1 · 11/03/2012 21:48

Arrrgh can't keep up!! how do you guys do it????
Grin at blizy and your fil!! Shock.

wigglesrock · 11/03/2012 22:17

RobinSparkles Sofia always had cereal before bed and she was hands down the best sleeper ever Grin I tried it with Olivia, didn't make a difference and Anna has a bit of something before bed, her sleep has really really improved lately - but I think knocking the through the night bottles on the head was the best thing ever. Although it seems the more sleep I get the more I need Shock!!

k2togm1 hiya Grin, any big plans for Ps birthday this week?

At work tomorrow - and Mr Ws back on Wednesday thank God don't know how I'll manage without him!

OP posts:
Emski76 · 11/03/2012 23:13

Robin, yes, Noah has had a big bowl of Greek yogurt with some fruit pouch in it before bed since we stopped his lastmilk feed at Xmas. He eats it all even if he's only had tea an hour earlier. It really seems to get him through. Glad it's been working with L, long may it last!

Poor you Ledkr with moany Dills, glad you managed to get away for a while though.

Off to bed now, catch you all tomorrow
