Mil doesnt make an effort at all so i said to dh if she doesnt start soon L will favour my mum more as he ges older I think it hit a nerve as she is coming at 2. He uses excuses that she works (my mum does 50 odd hours a week and sees him loads) turns out the friday every other week that we dont have baby group she doesnt work, she also has no friends so no excuse!
She would never go farm. She never talks so will be awkward but at least she is making an effort!

Chulita · 25/05/2012 20:22

Man, that's a week gone already! I seriously thought I'd posted only a couple of days ago and it was last Saturday. It's simply non-stop at the mo, I don't feel like I have time to sit down and cut my toenails let alone mn. I love having three, absolutely love it but I have no time at all any more! It'll settle once B's a bit bigger.

viks B isn't in a routine yet, it's a bit tricky getting him down at night and he's still up 3-4 times a night but he's absolutely beautiful and lovely so I forgive him :) Fwiw S has pretty much dropped his naps, and learnt how to open the bedroom door so we have an hour or so of him running around upstairs after bedtime before he creams in...does my nut cos now we don't get them asleep til 8pm he'll settle but until then copious amounts of choc are needed!

memphis hope you had an ok visit, she sounds like hard work!

mlisc that's one reason I'd struggle to get a job, my two are always ill.

spirael really hope you sell that place, even if you have done it up. We lost our tenants this month and it's a real pita cos all the water bills etc come back to us even though no one's living there, money down the drain.

I'm pretty sure I've got diastasis recti, my stomach is still huge and when I do crunches I can feel my muscles pinching my fingers instead of pushing against them. Not.Happy. I'm going to the GP and hoping it's something that can be fixed by eating chocolate or something

I'm going to try and be on more, I miss you lot!

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 27/05/2012 07:27

Still quiet huh?

How dare you lot have actual real lives to lead

Congrats Memph Grin Tell us all about it then

WhatSheSaid · 27/05/2012 10:11

Yeah Memphis, give us the details!

Chul I have no idea how you keep going at the mo. Two dcs wear me out - I'm trying to imagine how insane it would be with a baby thrown into the mix too.

just watched Cell 211 mlic. Great film.

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 27/05/2012 12:30

Phew! Glad you liked it - I thought it was really, really good but am always nervous to recommend stuff in case the other person thinks it's pants, haha!

We're having a bbq this afternoon but the bloody bastard sun still hasn't made an appearance Angry

Yes two run me ragged too wss, don't know how you manage either chul! All I doknow is, the older my two get the more adamant I am to not have any more even though dh is sure I'll change my mind

memphis83 · 27/05/2012 14:32

Haha...as most of you have seen I now finally have a ring on my finger, we went out last night and when he went to get the drinks they came back on a tray and the ring was sitting amongst the drinks, so glad he didnt do the on one knee thing as he knew I would die of embarassment if he did! for a quiet man he did well! but then I had to sit thought the film in the cinema, we went to our local after and had drinks with friends!
So lovely and hot here, been to the farm today, it was lovely and really educational will be going there again.
Just going to laze in the garden this afternoon, got a gammon joint, new potatoes and salad later so an easy tea

MalibuStac · 27/05/2012 18:57

Congrats memphis, have you's set a date? :D

Chulita · 27/05/2012 19:21

Congrats memphis at long bloody last we've all been waiting for this for years it seems Grin

Went to the neighbours' today for a bbq, was lovely but since S sort of needs to not nap, he was really hard work for the last few hours. I hate this time when they still need a nap but won't sleep if they do. He's still up around 5-5.30am so it's a long day for all of us...

WhatSheSaid · 27/05/2012 20:50

Snap chul. If G has a daytime nap she is really grumpy when she wakes up and won't go to sleep at 7. If she doesn't nap she's a mess by 6. She had a short nap yesterday and was up at bloody 5 20 today.

We had our posh meal out with dh s vouchers from work, it was v lovely.

Stac, meant to answer you, yes, have noticed an improvement in A's speech - the speech therapist has noticed even bigger change (cos I always understood her anyway). I even phoned up the school the other day to ask when I need to enrol her for November - eek, school is getting real now!

memphis83 · 27/05/2012 21:01

chul its been a long time coming!
stac will be sping 2014, so a long way off we would want another baby first which is why its a long way off. Dh's famly have talked weddings we habe said a week of talking about it to get it out of their systems then start telling them to zip it! Most venues have limited spaces for saturdays then already around these parts

Chulita · 28/05/2012 11:48

wss it's a nightmare wrt sleep at the mo. S was up at 5.30 this morning, he's asleep at the moment but I'm going to give him an hour and a half then wake him up. He's not settling til 8.30pm most nights at the mo and still up around 5-5.30. I'm seriously debating moving B in with L and S into a room on his own because L tends to sleep through a lot of noise and at least then S can potter around in a room on his own when he wakes in the morning. Not ideal but without a room each we have to do something...

memphis I'm always surprised by how early people book up venues for weddings, crazy! We didn't want to wait more than 6 months once we got engaged but then it was a bit of a different scenario.

After 3 deliciously 'bad' days, I'm back on SW again, I'm losing about a lb a week (apart from my 2lb gain week) which is what I'm aiming for to not jeopardise milk supply and still have enough energy to survive on 4-5 hours broken sleep. Got a long long long long way to go yet but I've decided to take my time and not rush it. My stomach's still sore if I do too much so exercise apart from swimming is out of the question I think. I wish I had a grandma nearby cos both boys are down and I'd happily go for a 30 min swim now if I could!

Chulita · 28/05/2012 12:02

I wonder how long it'll take for people to notice once this thread's full and we have a new one. 38 posts to go til I can be reunited with our thread again.

Chulita · 28/05/2012 12:02

I'll blither a bit to get it to 70 perhaps.

Chulita · 28/05/2012 12:03

mlisc and cake have you had an immunisation thing through for E and F re MMR? L's had hers through but I didn't think it was til before school and she won't start for a year and a bit yet. Not sure whether to delay or just to crack on...

Right, someone else needs to help me fill the next few posts.

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 28/05/2012 13:39

Yes E had his preschool jabs a while ago. March maybe?

Chulita · 28/05/2012 13:42

Ah, ok so it's normal then. Was he ok with them? I told L and she said "but they'll hurt, mummy" Confused well...yes, they probably will...

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 28/05/2012 14:03

He was brilliant. A little superstar. Much better than I'd hoped :) And nothing afterwards either, temp or illness-wise

memphis83 · 28/05/2012 15:31

Another sunny day here, just been asda.
chul there arent many venues here in the middle ground so they book quickly even the posh ones are almost booked, my friend had to sell he car last week to afford the deposit on her venue as only 2 dates left for 2014...its 8 grand for use of venue not including food and drinks! so looking at 30k in total as food is £80 per head. Bloody madness! I want the locally chippy van at ours!

Chulita · 28/05/2012 19:53

Bloody hell, night times are getting worse. I let S sleep from 11am til 12.15 and that was it and he's only just gone quiet in their room. He's been literally climbing the walls, I opened the door and he's balanced on their toy cupboard swinging off the wardrobe with one arm. That's with an outing this morning and a walk to nursery and back this afternoon...what the frick do I need to do to get this boy to sleep normally? A tenner says he's still up before 6am tomorrow. It wouldn't be so bad if he wasn't sharing with L but there's nothing we can do about that...

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 28/05/2012 20:04

W naps at nursery because he is non stop all day but at home with me I don't let him sleep
