Welcome back everyone!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

kk nonothing like that before.
tsc how did the scan go today with C?

Well I went to hospital after doc got me in and they thought it was an anurism (sp?) but it turns out it was a bad migraine, thats why I have felt odd for few days since, they pain in the head for the past few weeks was a build up to it, so all ok.

Went to see needle today, had a lovely day and she sends her love to everyone, G and I are gorgeous, I is still tiny at less than 8 pound, L really loved her rubbing her back and obsessing when she murmured, so sweet. She is a really good, settled baby.

tsc do they know how or when the baby got it? hopefully now they know what he has wrong with him they can treat it correctly, well done for Clara being so brave, were you worried about being in there? I see a trip to build a bear was needed after sounds like she deserved it though!

Woodlands · 03/04/2012 22:47

Sounds scary tsc, everything crossed.

Well done C for being a brave girl. Bet you're glad that's over with and I hope you get some answers soon.

viksam · 03/04/2012 22:56

Tsc glad today went well, when do u get the results? Poor tiny baby, that's horrible, hope its sorted soon.
I have fallen out with dh a bit for putting silly comments on fb about me and the boys being away. Feel silly now cos I think I made a mountain out of a mole hill, he joked that he hoped there was no petrol left so I couldn't come home! Bit close to the bone that especially when I handling two kids all week. Hmmmm. He defo didn't mean it but I still think its a silly thibgto write and rather hurtfull too. Especially considering today is our 11th wedding anniversary!

viksam I think I would be a bit hurt too, did you post on his fb or just over the phone to him? happy anniversary btw!

Im shattered but cant lift my ass off the sofa! dh's sis text asking what we were doing tomorrow, implying she would come here then said go there for a cuppa and trip to park, she hasnt been here since xmas, his family and friends think the 10 minute journey is too far, seeing my dad tomorrow he is finally out of hospital!

viksam · 04/04/2012 04:20

Thanks Memphis wasn't sure if I'd over reacted. Didn't put a word on fb, decided it best to stay quiet. My two friends and my sil noticed his status and remarced to me so I don't think it was just me. I hope ur dad is OK, he will be all the better for being at home I'm sure. Just feeding f and d kicked off in a big way so had to put f downon the kitchen floor and run up to d. F is down but still awake right now and d isn't crying but isn't sleeping either, like last night that leaves me sat on the edge of the bed waiting for one or the other to kick off! This lone parenting is hard man.

WhatSheSaid · 04/04/2012 06:37

vik I would have been pissed off with that too.

Glad the MRI wasn't too awful tsc

Dh and I are having a (rare) night out together tomorrow night, we were going ot go the cinema but he has just texted to say he has booked tickets to the theatre as a surprise. This is v impressive as I like going to the theatre but he doesn't...so he's got some brownie points for that Smile. He won't tell me what we're going to see either.

memphis83 · 04/04/2012 08:22

wss what a lovely suprise! dh wont go to the theatre but I love it, the hardest he tries is paying for me to go with someone else!
vik I find it so hard when dh is away, we had a petty arguement and he ended up saying and you want another baby but cant cope with one? I can cope with one but when he has 4 teeth trying to push through at once and all he wants is his Daddy I find it really hard!

It has rained here all night long, dh has snow where he is so not sure if they can work today now, L is constipsated, but keeps farting wet splats (niiiice) while trying to push!
I ate a whole easter egg and its contents in bed last night! its one L was given, hewont eat it anyway Grin

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 04/04/2012 09:19

Fingers crossed for the results tsc.

FWIW Vik I would be furious with a comment like that. I would have made a mountain out of that mole hill too.

wss, how lovely! What are you going to see?

I have filled up my kindle over the last few days and plan to go nowhere today until this wind dies down. Except maybe to Tesco as they have an offer on DVDs so I can get Cars2 and another film (not sure which one to get) for £15. That'll keep the boys happy for a couple of hours Wink

Have read Room and Mockingbird in the last week. I'd recommend Room if anyone has nothing to read atm. Mockingbird was ok

kkfairybrains · 04/04/2012 11:40

Fingers crossed you don't hear anything from the hospital tsc. Poor C can imagine it was frightening for her Sad. What about your little nephew is he getting any better? What is the thing that he has?
Ah how lovely that you seen needle Memph! Glad it was nothing too serious with you.
Vik I would have been livid! That is soooo not funny! Probably even less funny when you're sleep deprived and finding things tough. Hope you're ok now
Wss how was the theatre?
Dp is off work this week. Remember just before having E he done the cruciate ligament in his knee at football?? And he got the operation when E was 3 weeks old.... Well he's after doing his other bloody knee. At football again. So he's sitting with his leg up needing to be looked after too. The poor fella I feel sorry for him but aaaaarrrrrrgggggghhhhhh it's annoying!!! And tiring!

tsc that's so sad. Your poor, poor sister. I have had a look at the nhs website too :(

kk, he needs to retire! Two injuries in two years, it's a sign of old age Wink

kkfairybrains · 05/04/2012 00:11

Shit tsc Sad. God that's bloody awful. I really don't know what to say. Your poor sis is this her first baby? What did she call him?
Mlic I know! Think if it is his cruciate again which he won't know til he gets a scan, it'll be the end of his football career Grin.

tsc hijack away, I've got everything crossed for little Michael (I love that name). Fingers crossed he gets the ok to trial this treatment and that it works to stop this horrible virus from taking any more from him.
Well done to C too for being so brave during her scan!

memphis how is your dad doing? and how are you feeling now? That was a cheap shot from your dh, if L's struggling with his dad being away it's nothing to do with your ability to parent!

I've not been on cos we're all ill (again, yes, I know) even little B has a cold and conjunctivitis [sigh] I've sold my 3DS so I can buy a smartphone so might be able to keep up with the thread during the (neverending) night feeds (although I just spent most of the takings on a kindle...)

I asked a GP about the pain in my scar/incision and he didn't seem worried. It still feels like I've been kicked in the gut, not too bad if I wear joggers and don't walk anywhere but as soon as I try to walk further than around the garden it really starts to fricking hurt. Apparently I need to give it more time and keep taking it easy but I'm bloody fed up of 'taking it easy'

memphis83 · 05/04/2012 20:54

tsc I feel so very sad for your sister (and all of your family) what a sad time, I will be thinking of you all over the coming weeks/months.
chulita Im ok cheers, my dad is out of hospital, saw him yesterday but he looks so ill, he cant eat at all, his hair is growing back but they messed up his canular, it went wrong and filled his hand like a balloon with blood!
MIL popped over tonight after a hellish day at work, took more that mum has taken all week so not stopped and a customer did something vile this morning and I was actually sick behind the counter, gross gross people! so im only just getting our tea together!

viksam · 05/04/2012 22:59

tsc I don't think I will ever moan ever again. Its really put things in perspective for me. How lucky I am how dare I moan. I have tears in my eyes for you and your sis and the tiny baby. Why does this shit happen man.
chu poor little b with poorly eyes. U must feel horrid still, that sucks.
Memphis ur poor dad, the hand sounds horrid.
kk what will he do if its the end of his career?
I'm still in brum at my parents andhave had enough now, I wana go home. Dh is coming tomorrow so its my last night alone which is good. I have seen friends and family and had some lovely catch ups so i'm happy.
What's everyone doing for Easter weekend?

Aw how nice Grin. Really happy that he has some good news and hope he gets the go ahead for the treatment and it's not too hard on him. It really does make you count your blessings. Is your sis out of hospital?
Memph eugh it must have been bad Envy
