Feeling any better memph?

CakeandRoses · 10/03/2012 21:41

talk to us memph

memphis83 · 10/03/2012 21:52

I dont really know what to say, just really down, I suppose most couples have bad patches but he really doesnt like talking about anything so its getting harder to see ourselves getting from it...but then we have times like yesterday when things seem so great, but then they are followed by today when I get so worried about life I throw up everywhere, think I need to leave thread for a bit, it should be about L not about me!

Woodlands · 10/03/2012 22:18

don't be silly meph, the thread is for us all and it doesn't matter whether you post about you/your july 2010 baby/your other children or whatever. keep posting.

kkfairybrains · 10/03/2012 23:08

Aw Memph Sad. Sorry things are bad. Really don't know what to say to you. Hopefully things will look better in the morn. I know personally me and dp have had almighty rows and I've been close to walking and like you have always thought of the effect on everyone else but a good talk about everything and a few changes makes all the difference. He needs to understand that he HAS to talk about things because although it's his way of dealing with things, nothing gets resolved. It's really crap though and not easy with everything else you have going on. Please don't feel like you can't post about it here. Long gone are the days that it was about the babies. We're friends now and here for each other to help with anything Smile

viksam · 11/03/2012 02:45

Yeah Memphis what kk says is right, we are friends now, its strange but true. I mean look at the time and I get up specially just to post on here cos I love u all so much, feeding f is a by product! Haha! I really hope things are better, its so hard when they don't talk.
mylife we haven't had a monitor in our room so soooooo long due to shit walls, I was downstairs feeding f when I said yesterday I could see d waking up we only have it on downstairs like u. I too can hear them downstairs when/if I ever get a lye in, shitsville.
cake hope ur night isn't going too badly my friend who has hf&m her nails are peeling off from the bottom! Not nice. She had really bad blisters all over her hands though. We have F's moses elevated but he hasn't taken to a dummy yet. The gaviscon seems to be working though so that's good.
chu hows L? Its hard re the early wake ups, I try not to get d up before 7 but if I'm up with f anyway I do cos I don't want him to disturb dh too much, why don't they need more sleep, he's shattered in the day and would sleep for two hrs plus if we left him, but we never do!
Went to my favourite village with parents yeaterday, left dc's with dh and had a lovely time browsing and strolling in the sun, it was so warm and lovely and relaxing and they are such good company, I'm very lucky.

Chulita · 11/03/2012 06:09

memphis if you need to post, please do. Like fairy and viks said we're friends now rather than just July '10 support buddies. If it helps for you to write stuff down, none of us mind at all.

L's still got a fever but she did pick up yesterday afternoon and was running around. S has been awake since 5.10 and made L cry so DH is snuggling with L and I'm leaving S to scream in bed. I've been awake since 2.50 with contractions every 15 mins or so, very painful but we'll see if they carry on now that I'm actually awake instead of lying in bed...ack, here comes one now - maybe B doesn't fancy being a 13th baby or maybe my body's just being really, really mean!
I think I'll move S back into his own room and mum can sleep on the sofa. It's not fair on L that he wakes her up at 5am every morning, especially when she then needs to go to nursery for the day. What a pest...

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 11/03/2012 08:13

Shock chul. I hope (if you can get childcare sorted) this is it for you! Good luck! Your mum will totally understand about sleeping on the couch

Memph I agree with kk. It's ok him saying 'I don't want to talk' but a relationship is about two people, and it's about compromise. Does he know you feel like walking? Maybe you should tell him - shock him into talking about it.

Chulita · 11/03/2012 08:39

Labour ward want me in, stand-in-til-mum-gets-here neighbour has gone to London for the day, mum's over 2 hours away. Fantastic start! I also baked the most amazing-smelling blueberry cinnamon rolls for breakfast but can't have any in case something happens Angry
We're going to go in with both DC and hope that my parents get a move on so they can pick them up or something. Argh! what a nightmare...
DH is a wreck, S won't stop crying, woohoo let's have a baby today!

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 11/03/2012 08:51

It will be fine. Positive Mental Attitude. Fine I tells ya.

Good luck, and don't forget to text me with any news!!

CakeandRoses · 11/03/2012 09:30

oh gosh chul! like mlic said, just go in and don't worry about anything other than you having your teeny tiny newborn. it will all work out fine.

heck i forgot to give you my mob no. will pm you now but i'm presuming it's too late so mlic will you forward on please when you hear?

memph i barely even noticed we talk about the july 10 babies on here anymore - do we?! talk away. i've had exes who found it difficult to talk too and it does make even small issues so much harder to sort. i hope you manage to tho as there seems so much good in your relationship.

so pleased the gaviscon is working vik. i didn't rate it but partly just cos it's a faff with bf

A's cheered up loads but slept crap again last night. i actually started hallucinating a bit with sleep deprivation last night and my nipples are so bloody sore.

hey ho, should be on the mend now.

memphis83 · 11/03/2012 11:10

Hooray! Many congratulations to chulita and family! Hope everything worked out OK in terms of childcare etc and that she gets a good rest in hospital for a day or two.

viksam · 12/03/2012 13:46

My oh my where is every one?
Or is my computer being naughty?

memphis83 · 12/03/2012 14:56

chul congratulations! hope you got everything sorted with childcare and are getting spoilt and looked after!

very quiet on here, L is being so lovely at the moment, which is good as I have done something to my bloody back while at indoor skydiving and cant move much at all! hoping a hot bath once dh is home will help! Things seem a lot better, we had a proper talk, and I forced him to sit and discuss things, and .....he actually admitted 'he needed a kick up the arse somethines' he has also done some actual DIY without me telling him too Shock

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 12/03/2012 15:19

That's excellent memph (bout dh not your back Wink)

DS2's bottom has just exploded - not seen anything like that for a long time! So I have literally stripped him off, washed him down and chucked the flannel and stuck the washing machine straight on. Early bath though I think - he stinks
