BB3 · 10/02/2012 17:12

Oh and Aladdin!

TallyBear · 10/02/2012 17:24

On phone so cant remember everything....

Sassy yay for dh and v impressed with dc's. What age do you start all that? Seb has his moments but most times he is quite good as long as he had his dummy.

Sch good luck with mil. Could dh have a word with her for you?

Ed hope your gran gets better; I'm sure M will help cheer her up!!

Seb seems to have been worn out from baby zone this afternoon- he's been asleep for almost 2 hours which is very unlike him. My arm is dead!!!! But he does look v cute Smile. I got halfway through baby zone today (1.15-2.45) and felt a bit hungry and then realised that I hadn't had any lunch.... [forgetful mummy emoticon]!

LittlePebble · 10/02/2012 17:25

Ed hope your gran makes a swift recovery.

Sassy so exciting for you have a wonderful weekend

We're off out for our first night out without E tonight going for dinner in swanky restaurant and DMiL is babysitting. Trying to get ready but E won't come off the boob!

Phone seems to have missed loads of posts Confused

Big Disney fan here too. And I LOVE all Pixar films. Can't wait until seb is old enough to enjoy them too.

Engles pizza sounds gooood at the moment. Not sure what were having tonight but think dh is drinking with friends tonight so it might be tea for one Sad

Jnice · 10/02/2012 18:46

pebble pupd is 'pick up put down' as in the baby whisperer book. It is back breaking but less hands off than cc.

I am at my wits end right now. I wish I could catch up with you all. Bugs doing the rounds and now ds2 is really bad again with fever, vomiting and rash. I have to help L to sleep. (rock or feed) and not enough cuddles to give ds2, plus completely paranoid about L getting sick again.

Nurse apt later so going to get advice on sleep. He is waking 3 times again and I am going to faint from lack of sleep Sad

LittlePebble · 10/02/2012 19:01

Thanks Jnice will have a look. So sorry you're having a tough time Sad wish we had a teleporter like on star trek then we could all pop over and help each other

Jnice sorry to hear about your lack of sleep and sorry DS is sick, wishing you a better night tonight.

mama and the other ladies down south, I'm game for a meet up some time if you are :)

Another vote here for Beauty and the Beast being the best Disney film although I do love their pixar collaboration Wally (sp?) never before have I been worried about a cockroach :o

strawberrypenguin · 10/02/2012 19:13

pebble :o I'll join you in the scifi nerd department

MrsHende · 10/02/2012 20:06

BB3 · 10/02/2012 20:16

Wow happy 3 month birthdays!!!

Scheherezade · 10/02/2012 20:35

happy 3 months to the little ones :) C is 20 weeks tomorrow.

FuzzzyDuck · 10/02/2012 20:46

Happy 3 months!! S is 19 weeks today Grin. Honestly, where is the time going?!

Beauty and the beast is my all time fave! Also love Aladdin and Pocahontas. I started a few years ago buying the Disney films when they were re released. Have a small collection that I can now pass onto little S! I love sitting with kids I look after watching the Disney films.

Scheherezade · 10/02/2012 21:08

fuzz DP is a massive disney fan. B&B is his fave, he's a loser.

FuzzzyDuck · 10/02/2012 22:04

EdwardorEricCantDecide · 10/02/2012 23:11

Thanks everyone fir kind wishes about gran her pulse has unloved slightly today to 41bpm so still not where it should be but a wee bit better.

Beauty and the beast was the first thing I ever saw in cinema Grin my gran took me then after we went to the Disney shop and pre ordered the video and I got a free poster it's my earliest Disney memory Grin

DS loves most of the pixar films and the lion king and dinosaur. But he won't watch monsters Inc Confused don't understand why I love it lol.

Have a great weekend fuzzy

Congrats on getting dh back from navy sassy

That's M in her own bedroom at night now and she is sleeping so much better I think dh and I were maybe disturbing her.

Christopher has a runny nose AGAIN will this ever end! I think it's because his room gets quite cold in the night so I bought a small oil radiator today hopefully that helps.

I got what's left of my wedding dress from gran's house today to get mhairi's christening dress made, also think I'll get the bodice separated so I can wear it to the christening with a nice cream/ivory suit or something? Will need to speak to priest this weekend to set a date. (and lose about 3inches round my bust/ribs if I want to get into the bodice)
Forgot how much I love my wedding dress! Was prancing around the kitchen in it tonight Grin (minus a bit of the train that made christopher's christening suit) Grin

EdwardorEricCantDecide · 10/02/2012 23:11

Wow huge post sorry everyone

sassy34264 · 11/02/2012 04:26

argh! everyone in the house is zzzzzz but me! woke and put eva back in her cot after a feed and now i cant sleep- damn those 3 cognacs!

tally not quite sure what you mean- 'when did you start all that' ??
baby brain/4am brain mush! Smile

dont know whether its disney or pixar but my favourite is kung fu panda, followed closely by horton hears a who.

me and dp use to go the pics a lot in the beginning and we went watching finding nemo while chloe was at her dads. we were the only people in there without kids. it was a bit Blush

we had every single disney film for chloe as dads wife passed them on to us and we bought whatever she didnt have. unfortunately though they were all on video! bit reluctant to buy them all again esp if dvds go extinct soon too. dp mentioned he'd seen a box set of them all for around 100 pounds, so told him to get them it for xmas, but when he looked again they werent official. will just have to keep an eye out for deals on them.

edward glad yr grandma is a bit better. i really miss mine. Sad

well i did all that food and he'd called at kentucky on the way back! bloody typical. Grin kids enjoyed it anyway. esp jacob has he got to climb on table and help himself - little rascal sod

all your talk on age prompted me to work out eva's age. she is over 17 weeks now! only 3 weeks to go and this time last time, i was pregnant with eva! i must have been mad!!!

fuzzy hope your hen do was fun.

edward what a lovely idea for your wedding dress. chloe and isobel have worn the same christening dress that my mum made many moons ago. im going to put eva in it too- not sure when though?! sil is having her ds christened beginning of march, so sometime after then.

right! gonna try again for sleep. night.

CheshireDing · 11/02/2012 05:37

Please tell me someone elses baby has been awake every damn hour :( She was the same the night before too.

Jnce what did the Nurse say?

Ed hope your Gran is feeling better today.

Tally what's Baby Zone? P is going to art/messy class in a fortnight in between a swimming break - she fell asleep at swimming again this week Grin

Sassy what will DP do when he is on dry land?

Is everyone doing Christenings/Naming Ceremonies? We are not doing anything

Jnice · 11/02/2012 08:01

cheshire I didn't get to sleep Sad I had ds2 with me too who has a nasty bug and we spent a lot of time on that. I don't know what to do about sleep to be honest. Sleep training is going to make my PND worse so I feel kind of stuck.

We don't christen or do naming ceremonies either so you're not alone.

BB3 · 11/02/2012 08:45

Cheshire we aren't doing anything, didn't with any of the kids, dh is muslim and I am well nothing / undecided / mixed (although am christened as mum says 'that's just what you did in those days!). The kids will be bought up and taught about all religions and they can decide when they're older and I thought about naming ceremony then realised I'd only be doing it for the presents!!! Blush

Scheherezade · 11/02/2012 09:34

C is getting baptised in June. I'm not Christian, obviously being Iranian, but its the local village church which is gorgeous, its free, and a good way of getting family and friends together.

He is named after Cyrus the great, I chose it because the king founded first charter of human rights, and promoted religious freedom and tolerance in his empire. So its a nice way to celebrate that too.

When I say C plays for 90mins, I mean I put him on his mat or chair to play with his toys whilst I Hoover/wash up etc. Its just easier to say "90 mins play" than say what he is doing exactly.

He was up at 1, 5, 7.30. Had a falling out with DP in the night, we're ok now.

Ed, am glad your gran is picking up :)

sassy34264 · 11/02/2012 09:53

cheshire dp is an electronic engineer, so hopefully he will find something in that area. he has just completed an electrian course too. got 100% in one test and 2 wrong in the other- came top!
he went to the worst/roughest school in wigan, but he's v clever. he made chief petty officer before he was 25- average age is 40.

plus, he only official leaves 31st march- but they give you so many weeks off to resettle and also they owe him his leave- which is why he has finished now. so pay until then.

we've decided i'll go back temping if he hasnt got a job by then- but i really dont want to- so fingers crossed!!

jnice so sorry its not getting any better for you. hope things improve soon. x

sassy34264 · 11/02/2012 09:57

electrician!!!!

sassy34264 · 11/02/2012 10:33

good god! if i could send the lovely ripe smell in my living room down the phone- you would all be gagging!
how can 2 children eat exactly the same food, day in day out and one smell 10times worse? its a mystery i will never understand.
it must just be a guy thing?!!
