OMG Biglips you look almost exactly the way I thought you would. Very pretty little girl and mummy. Tweenie looks like such a big girl in those photos.
CountTT Josh sounds lovely.
Alfie was such a lovely boy today. I think he has a tummy upset, from eating dirt so he was a bit poopy and he kept getting on the pottychair thingy and doing poops. Eventually he put his dolly: Fred on the potty and then tried to give him a drink from his cup and kissed him (and his lorry). Mind you about ten minutes later he was bashing Fred on the floor, but it was so sweet whilst it lasted.

I thought I would upload a couple of photos of Alfie and Fred. He's very silly.

Ahhh bless all those photos are cute! When I can I'll upload some photos of jj. He's got a similar potty to Alfie and my god its like his royal throne!!!!! Are any of you coming to the xmas meet up?

biglips · 02/09/2006 20:01

Countto10 - i wont be going as we are sssooo skint and dredding the xmas cos of the pressies! BAH! or otherwise i would love to go

maisiemog · 02/09/2006 22:03

Yes upload photos of Josh!!
I didn't know there was a Christmas meet up. However, I think we are keeping our money for a holiday in December, stinky Canaries. I hope not Gran Canaria, as I have been underwhelmed by the resorts there. Particularly disliked Puerto Rico, it's built into the side of a mountain so you have to ride up on mountain goats, or get a looney taxi driver to throw you around his cab for ten minutes.
Would like Lanarote or Fuertaventura.
I know how you feel biglips, I was working out a budget for milk and bread today, it's like the blitz.

Masiemog - he he glad your ds has as much hair as Grace!
Not to he outdone on the photos here are some pf my two!
here

Grace is really amazing with her language - she copies everything that is said...it is so funny - which dd1 never did!

I have to go back to school on Monday and dd1 starts on Wednesday - where did that time go? SHe is dead excitited! And even more excitiely dh said "lets just start trying for properly for a baby" as apposed to half-heartly trying for the last few months! But I guess you never know do you?

KathH · 02/09/2006 22:20

Masiemog - loved the photos of Alfie & Fred - do you think there's a chance Alfie & Moley could have been separated at birth?

Am also starting to think about Christmas & the cost! One of the toy shops near us does a club type thing which is what we did for Moley last year - ordered his toys in about September & then paid about £10 a week. Very satisfying to collect them the week before Christmas & know they were already paid for! DD1 is a different kettle of fish however talk about 13 going on 18! Dread to think what's on her list this year. Masiemog - we went to Lanzarote about 4 years ago & its the best place on earth! I was 30 in the July and dh was 40 so I had a really mad idea & we went with the whole family including my mum, my sister, bil, nephew, sil & her hubby, dh's step sister & her hubby, their 2 kids, fil, mil & even dh's step mum as well! We had a brilliant time. Would like to know what the other places are like tho, we went to Tenerife last year (where moley took his first steps!)& have been to Gran Canaria as well. We've done something really daring & instead of the Canaries we're going to Tunisia in October & am dreading it! Has anyone ever been? We wanted somewhere different but i think we're chavs at heart & would be quite happy with Blackpool in the sun!

Biglips, you look nothing like I thought! I thought you'd got ginger hair & glasses !

CountTo10 · 02/09/2006 22:27

Will download some photos tomorrow promise!! Tunisia is supposed to be fantastic - have heard very good reviews. Not having a hols this year but i am on a cheeky hen weekend in a few weeks this month in Portugal and am sooooo looking forward to it. Don't think dp is as carefree about it though its his first time with josh on his own for the weekend!!!!

maisiemog · 02/09/2006 22:30

Oh I meant to say CTT and Geog that now, when Alf finished eating, he chucks it as far as he can in a frenzy of throwing as many things in as short a time as possible. Meanwhile I try to get the tray off so I can remove him from the danger of food throwing excesses.

OP posts:
KathH · 02/09/2006 22:31

Countto10 - hope you have a faab time! Am dead jealous - dh comes down with a cold sweat if I ask him to look after kids for a couple of hours!

KathH · 02/09/2006 22:32

Masiemog - Alfie & moley are definately separated at birth!

cazzybabs · 02/09/2006 22:33

OHH I am so glad your are all on Mumsnet tonnight - just just me stuck in again on Sat night - not that I ever go out!

KathH · 02/09/2006 22:42

Cazybabs - last Saturday I defrosted my freezer how's that for an exciting night!

maisiemog · 03/09/2006 17:27

That's odd! I posted a reply last night, but I didn't see any of those other posts??? But it was nice to see all the posts today.
I love the photos of Grace and DD1 (Did you tell us her name - racking my brains ??}
She's soo cute, I love the picture of the two of them running away and Grace is wearing a 1890's striped bathing costume. Did you have one of those huts that horses pull
Get you! Trying for a baby!
Kath does Moley do all the hairstyling and that sort of thing as well. Oh and Alfie loves the pram bought by his Granny. Who was it recommended that? Thanks!!!
I remember you talking about the nightmare flight with little mr wigglybum. I think they are a bit easier to entertain now they are older (she says hopefully). Did you like Tenerife?

OP posts:
KathH · 03/09/2006 18:03

not sure if it counts as hair"styling" as such but last week he managed to tip a whole tub of ds1's hairgel onto his hair - it looked like he'd got a blue jelly wobbling on top of his head!

Loved Tenerife - think we prefer Lanzarote tho.

Have to nip out now to murder some little well not so little, 2 of them are 13 & 1's 10) s*s who I've just seen lobbing stones at my pusscat Harry - dd1's just told me that one of them was pulling his tale earlier.

KathH · 03/09/2006 18:03

sorry - tail!

cazzybabs · 03/09/2006 21:12

Maisymog - god I am hopeless at everyones names even in real life - I just pray I don't even need to use them. Dd1 name is Isabelle or Isabelle pickle pickle pickle (x number of times) fireengine granger as she used to call herself!

biglips · 04/09/2006 08:24

i went on a cruise when i was 6m pg and went on a canary islands cruise (to go on nearly all of them) and the best one was Mederia - Dp wants to retire there (yes please!!!!) as its fabulous and the scenery is so breathtaking!! ssssooo fab as we went on top of the highest mountain there (on a coachtour) and it was really cool!

cant wait to go on another cruise!! prefer the carribean one so gotta start saving my pennies nad i be 60 by the time i can afford it

DD met her Grandad (my Dad) for the first time Saturday just gone and was gabbing to him to death !!! (in baby babble of course! but a few english words in between!! ) but last night she took me by surprise as every 5 minutes she keeps shouting "MUMMY!!" "wha?" "BROKEN!!" hhhhhhmmmmmm not impressed!!! so her McDonalds supermans sunglasses are clip on ones and they came apart so Dp said to her "Awwww.... Its broken "DD said "Not broken"

i started a thread last week if my DD is normal as she is so full of engery, so hyper, (and so funny!), ive had friends and strangers saying to me "Is she like this all day???? " "errr... Yep!". I do envy other mums when their little ones sits on their mums or dads knee more than 2 seconds!! honest!

maisiemog · 04/09/2006 11:48

Biglips I reckon she's just an active toddler, you seem outgoing and I bet she's like her mummy: she certainly looks like you.
Are you getting a rest and giving her to your mum and relatives so they can take her out and you can have a snooze or a long bath?
Madeira sounds lovely, lots of the womem at my work have been there and loved it, apart from the mountainous roads where you feel as if you are going to plunge into the sea.
Kath you are good at typos. I especially like when you told us about the little 'bot' next door, and then changed it to 'boy' in your next post, and then posted again to say you hadn't been looking at his bot. ))))
Do any of the other babies line up their toys all the time? Alfie does this all the time, he specialises in forming a chain, one in front of the other, like a train. Is this normal??

OP posts:
KathH · 04/09/2006 19:12

Masiemog - once I managed to do a huge typo in an important letter at work - managed to change a titled lady's title into an insult! Cant tell you what it was as if anyone from works reading this they'll know its me! My boss thought I'd done it on purpose!

geogteach · 04/09/2006 19:25

Have any of the rest of our kids been called for another jab? Its for menengitis, geog is having it on Wednesday.
Everyone's photos are fab, I should be able to do some now we have a new computer just haven't learned But for what its worth babygeog is still winning in the hair department and thats after numerous trips to the barber and all the bits I have to hack off when I can't get food out of it

biglips · 04/09/2006 20:23

Is that the new jab booster?

maisiemog · 05/09/2006 11:00

Katherine I have read your post and your are fired - signed your boss!

OP posts:
maisiemog · 05/09/2006 11:06

Heehee, it's me Kath - just kidding!
So don't go and toilet paper your boss's car.
Geog Little Geog's hair sounds like mine, eek, with stuff in it! Ick!
So I take Alfie is the only lining up things baby then - starts worrying! Worry worry!! Worry! Wory - look I even spelt it wrong I'm so worried.
Today we received a big old letter addressed to Alf all about immunisations and it said they would contact us between now and March the 7th next year - can't wait.
WHich reminded me to phone the HV about Alfie's MMR.
