New Year - New Thread!!

Hope you all had a lovely festive season!

I went for a nice walk in the park today as it was lovely & sunny. Sneezed violently half way round and realised my pelvic floor integrity ain't what it used to be. Which got me thinking about New Years resolutions!

  1. DO MORE PELVIC FLOOR EXERCISES!!!
  2. Get Toned and Fit
  3. Get pregnant
  4. Sort out the garden

Obviousy number 3 may have an impact on 1 and 2!!

We are still around...can't keep up with all these posts though!! DS1 had his fourth birthday last week and now keeps telling everyone "I AM 4!". He is tolerating Sam more now and even plays with him (well chases him round and pushes him over!). Sam adores his big brother and can't wait to walk like him I expect...I predict he will walk around 13-14 months.

Being quite adventureous at the moment...went to London with both of them on Saturday...good job DH was there as the tube and buggies don't mix! Had a fab time at the Science Musuem..they both loved the basement stuff. Booked a holiday in May for Norfolk and even considering a last minute get away next week to Center Parcs.

Can't believe Sam is almost 1...where has the time gone!?!

Hi Everyone just wanted to say hello see how everyone is dd has decided that walking takes whey to long so she onlt dose it if forsed the rest of the time she just crawls everywhere at top speed
Can i just ask is anyone else feeling realy broody at the moment i don't know why but i can't stop thinking about how nice it would be to have another baby even though i totaly hated being pregnant. Is it just that she is growing up?
Please help me be rashonal !!!!!!!!
Oh and can i also ask is anyone actual pregnant again xx

Sweetbean - I think there's a fair bit of broodiness round here,on this thread - not me specifically... honest... and Angeliz is expecting (and Spoo although we haven't heard from her for months and months).

Well, as of yesterday I have a 1 year old . Had a lovely day - DH was off so we spent the morning opening pressies and then had swimming which DH watched and dd thought it was great Daddy was watching - kept waving and giggling at him. Then we went out and fed some ducks although dd was more interested in all the dogs. Then back for a bit of a play with new stuff ! People were pretty mindful of the truck load of toys dd got for christmas so pressies were mainly clothes, vouchers so we can get some outside bits in the summer. She got a trike from grandma which she looks so grown up on (might post a piccie actually ....) and a wheely bug which is fab !!

So when are the other little ones birthdays ? I think Linus is next ?

starlover · 25/01/2006 11:56

hello futurity and sweetbean! and everyone else of course

I am definitely broody and have a kind of "yes" from dp to have another one once we have a house!
very excited! and also very {envy] of angeliz and all the other mn'ers i keep seeing posting their pg announcements! lol

Hazellnut... sounds like you had a lovely day! we're going to have a few friends round in the afternoon on Linus's birthday (7th) and then family in the evening.
We;ve got him a ball pit for his birthday... hope it goes down well!

W0MBAT · 25/01/2006 12:11

Hazellnut, happy birthday to your dd for Sunday! It sounds like she had a lovely birthday. What did you do about the cake in the end?

Starlover - that's great news about your dp wanting another baby. How is the house hunting going?

I would like another one but not for a little while yet. Probably try towards the end of the year.

Hazellnut · 25/01/2006 18:22

thanks for b'day wishes !! Cake was in the shape of a white bunny (her fave comforter !!).

Have got round to adding a little piccie of her on trike on members profile - its not that great but thought she looked all grown up !

starlover · 25/01/2006 22:18

you're ion london aren't you? does your deli have a website?

W0MBAT · 25/01/2006 22:19

SL - check this site out sweets!

Tipex - I remember all the children programmes when I was younger having hidden adult meanings. Remember Captain Pugwash with Seamen Stains and Master Bates. Although, someone told me those characters didn't exist.

gossifer · 25/01/2006 22:19

no, we're behind the times and old fashioned, we have 'a man' working on it in conjunction with our partner business's, come to think of it, haven't heard from him for a while......you have something to do with websites i think??

starlover · 25/01/2006 22:21

well, dp does something with computers! lol
he is very good at the technical stuff, but not so hot with the design aspect unfortunately otherwise i am sure we could make plenty of money

W0MBAT · 25/01/2006 22:21
