Olivia has had a bit of a sniffle which last night transformed into a full blown sore throat/crying/unable to breathe/lost her voice drama. The GP saw her this morning and she has a throat infection , she's on antibiotics now, so fingers crossed. Sofia and Olivia were both meant to be having a sleepover at my parents tonight so not sure what to do, my mum still wants them and they still want to go, think I'll have to wait and see. Although she managed to push through the pain and pick a really cool pair of Peppa Pig baseball boots in Asda this morning .

reastie - your HV will know how difficult it is to ask for help with PND so don't worry about your last visit. The sooner you phone, the sooner you start to feel better. I think his costume is glow in the dark but we haven't tested it yet. I also think the same about tad's A&E. :)

wiggles - poor O but she cracks me up. The carseat is a Maxi-Cosi Cabriofix. We washed the cover and couldn't get it back on properly so it looks rumpled.

borg what do you do at work?We arent allowed an surf time either,the bastards I feel a bit lazy not being back yet but no point till after D's op and the xmas hols.

Had a weird day,dh was up with d in the night and early so is a bit grumpy,we went into town but i still didnt get him any pressies cos he was with me.

Its his birthday tomorrow so we are going to see paranormal 3 and eat some curry-well he is,ill have some rice and anything that isnt too spicy.

We did some funny trick or treating,we took wine with us and all the other Mums were wel jel. The girls told scary stories and dh dressed up and scraed them. He must have done a good job cos Ella had to sleep on a made up bed in our room last night

reastie - I started going to a step class about a month ago. The first week I thought I was going to die but it's getting a bit easier every week. Try not to feel self-conscious if you can't do the moves or need to take a break. My class is filled with slim uni students but there's a few chubby old ladies like myself too.

Reastie, please call your HV asap, please dont leave it until you are feeling sad again. Your HV is used to hearing things like this and will not worry hat you didn't tell her before. My HV has been so helpful through all my problems and even called me last week for an update.

Hello ladies, I am all grapevined out . I love that the aerobics class participants average age was probably about 60, yet I seemed to sweat the most . I'll just tell myself I was jumping about more than them also must remember to shave my underarms next time

Forgot to say, saw fat fighters leader today - she tells me when I'm hungry to eat one crackers and a slice of apple - not even a whole apple fgs. She also told me to eat just a banana for breakfast - that'll never fill the hunger hole .

Olivia isn't a bit well. They spent the night at my Mums and Olivia was up and in pain for a good bit during the night, they just spent the day with her mooching about, baking buns, painting Halloween clay figures, watching Mamma Mia (don't ask). She's in bed now, and I sat with her until she feel asleep (soft touch), but am expecting quite a bit of waking.

We had a lovely day yesterdy- at the zoo for my friend's birthday. It was very much more for us than for the babies, but K was quite taken with a baby chimp...

reastie don't mean to nag but..... Phonecall? I know it's hard but you'll feel better just for doing it. Nag nag but that's why you love us!

I had a weaning wobble yesterday after a few 'comments' from mums with pretty different parenting techniques (!) to me, just querying what I was doing. I think it is more my issue than theirs cos I'm feeling a bit insecure about it all at the moment. I think K isn't eating very much at the moment and not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if he's maybe teething (still none tho ponyo don't worry ;) )
his weight is fine and he seems fine in himself, but he only seems to want to eat yoghurt and shoes some reassurance please?

X-post wiggles sorry about O, what's wrong with her? Hope you get some sleep tonight, and she's feeling better in the morning (although if anyone is qualified to cope on little sleep it's you, mother of the amazig non-sleeper ;) )

byronicheroine Olivia has a throat infection, got her to Drs yesterday and she got antibiotics which I fecking spilt earlier so I'll have to give them a ring and get some more tomorrow.

I'm always a bit jittery when Olivia is ill because she got very dehydrated once and had to spend a night in the hospital and it was very scary to be honest. She had a slight vomiting bug and she just really went downhill in the space of about 2 hours - she's normally such a trooper so its a bit disheartening when she's in pain and disconsolate, whereas Sofia loves a bit of drama and is very happy when she's tucked up on the sofa with a slight sniffle carrying on like she suffering from consumption a la Jane Austen

I wouldn't worry about Ks eating or not, sometimes Anna can just not be bothered with food, she's not a big eater for the size of her.
