Hello all, hope you are all well.

MrsY so good to hear from you. Benedict will NEVER be forgotten, if there is anything at all I can do to help (cook meals, do shopping etc) please let me know. Thinking of you J and M.

SM congratulations keep up the good work.

MOS I am sorry but I cant knit I wish I could as I would love to help.

All well here, DS has started preschool two mornings a week, its too quiet without him. DD2 will be 6 months on Saturday and I have no idea where the time has gone. DD1 is beautiful and loving school, she is florishing and is teaching me things (did you all know that Earth has a sister planet ) !

MOSagain · 10/05/2012 07:44

sister planet? Confused
glad all ok with you bumps, not seen you on here for a while

dinkystinkyandveryverybored · 10/05/2012 09:09

Hello all - work insane again so not much time to MN at present. nice to see you on bumps and SR (and thanks for the info on dyspraxia - am reading everything under the sun on it at the moment but good to hear from someone who has first hand experience of it themselves). MoS - wish I could help with the knitting project but am unable to even get to the shops for a pint of milk at the moment (our poor nanny and DH are bearing the brunt of the housework stuff while I'm screwed at work) so managing to even get out to buy a ball of wool and knit anything is sadly far beyond me - happy to send money (thank god for internet banking) to fund wool purchases if that would be ok though. Let me know.

MrsY · 15/05/2012 18:02

Hello all.

MOS and I are going to meet up and Bluewater next Wednesday. I wil be wowing her with my knitting skills and shall bring along my M&S discount card, so if you are at a loose end, like wool or shopping, please feel free to join us. xxx

MOSagain · 15/05/2012 18:09

OMG! You have a M & S discount card Shock dammit, wish I knew that before I spent silly money in M & S at BW on Sunday! I will pack my (shiny new) knitting needles and lovely wool. What time are we meeting and more importantly, Costa or Starbucks? x

MrsY · 15/05/2012 18:30

Don't mind where we meet. Will possibly need to swing into JL for some wool of mine own, as I think the stuff we've ordered still won't be there by then Hmm. Could maybe do JL cafe or even M&S cafe? They might be quiter then Costa or Starbucks?

Don't mind time either, although not too early, as Wendesday is my lie-in and childless shower day, so I do like to take advantage.

MOSagain · 15/05/2012 19:31

Well I've got two balls of the Debbie Bliss(?) number 8, pale blue. No way I'm going to get through one at this rate, let alone two so shall I bring spare one? sent other two balls to my pro knitter.

when I head to BW I tend to go straight from school drop off so get there about 10am for nice coffee when quiet. Need to leave by around 1.45pm to get back to pick up little darlings, maybe 2pm at latest.

MrsY · 15/05/2012 22:57

That sounds fine. I can have an afternoon bath - I love those!

Love the idea of a pro knitter; does that mean she can't compete in the Olympics?!

dinkystinkyandveryverybored · 17/05/2012 15:31

Have a lovely time at BW MrsY and MOS -am having visions of the two of you knitting up a storm!

MOSagain · 17/05/2012 15:46

hmmm, not sure of that dinky, I can't even knit (yet)!

MrsY · 18/05/2012 00:45

Apologies, as this is c&P from another thread, but wanted to show off but it's very late and my eyes hurt!

Have had a tough day today, felt like every smile was forced, and was really clutching at straws to say focused and engaged. Then we went to our three year old's nursery parents evening. Hey key worker said she is 'perfect', a total joy to look after, polite, kind and happy. She has the langauge skills of a six year old and is the most advanced child in the key worker's group (and she's the youngest). She's never had to tell her off, and said she can rely on her to behave when the others are out of control! I'm so proud of our girl. Especially with what's she been through over the last month. Love her Grin.

MOS, once you start your first square, we'll have you running something like this up in no time!

MOSagain · 18/05/2012 06:26

MrsY, that is lovely, M is a credit to both you and J, you should be very very proud of her.
I'm sure I'll be fine once I've started my square, its just the starting that worries me.

dinkystinkyandveryverybored · 18/05/2012 09:33

Oh bless M - she's clearly a delight!

Calico1 · 18/05/2012 20:27

MrsY - M sounds like such a sweetheart xx
Enjoy your day out at BW.

TheHouseofMirth · 19/05/2012 19:06

I feel terrible popping on hereto brag when I haven't been around for ages but did anyone see the photos of me & Mr T in today's Times in the extended breast feeding feature?!

dinkystinkyandveryverybored · 20/05/2012 18:32

THOM - I saw the article but was just briefly scanning through weekend on the ipad so missed that you were in it. Have gone back and read it now - both you and T are looking well!

TheHouseofMirth · 20/05/2012 19:44

Thank you!

Are you all recovered now Dinky?

idontbelieveit · 20/05/2012 22:11

I haven't been on for ages. Just wanted to say hi. I'll post again when i've caught up, for those who don't remember me I had dd2 Freya (due 4th of Feb) on 26th Jan. Have had a difficult year, dd1 has had a lot of health problems but things seem to be gradually getting back to normal now.
Missed you guys

idontbelieveit · 20/05/2012 22:16

Mrs Y, that's so lovely about M, especially given what you've all been through. What an absolute star and a credit to you and MrY

dinkystinkyandveryverybored · 21/05/2012 19:21

Slowly but surely getting better thanks THOM - spending on average 70-80 hours a week at work for the past few weeks isnt helping matters any though. Perhaps I should instal a bike behind my desk to strengthen my legs while chained to my desk Hmm

IDBI - lovely to see you on but so sorry to hear you've had a difficult year. I hope DD1 is ok and am glad things are getting back to normal now. Didnt Freya have to have a cast put on shortly after birth (or am I getting confused)? If so, how's she doing nowadays?

TheHouseofMirth · 21/05/2012 19:54

Blimey Dinky how do you cope with that?

oooggs · 21/05/2012 20:04

Evening ladies,

Mrs Y great to see you.

Dinky how's things?

MOS you have put up some lovely photos of G & H on fb lately

I can't keep up with names changes or fb and rl names!! MOS has been helping me out Blush

idontbelieveit · 21/05/2012 20:51

dinky, how on earth are you coping with such long working hours?! Hope things ease up a bit soon.
Freya has bilateral tallipes. She's doing pretty well now, still in footbrace at night, probably until 5 but she's not been in plaster since an op just after she turned 2. The nights are a bit of a struggle though, she flips herself out of bed fairly frequently! She started nursery (5 mornings) in jan and she loves it. DD1, Amelia is still suffering a bit, on long term medication for bladder and bowel problems but things are much better than they were.

dinkystinkyandveryverybored · 21/05/2012 21:47

Hmm, am coping with it with very bad grace at the moment - and rather missing my boys. Other than that things are fine.

IDBI - great that Freya is loving nursery. Am so sorry that Amelia is suffering so but glad the medication is doing its work for DD1 - it sounds like you've all had a rather fraught and scary time with her healthcare isseus.

MrsY · 21/05/2012 22:45

Yikes, dinky that sounds like hell. Is that a specific project you're working on atm, or is it just what work is?

idbi, Poor Amelia, that must be awful for you all. Hope the meds continue to work well for her. Glad to hear Freya is enjoying nursery M loves hers - we've just increased her hours. Will she have another op, or is that it?

Thanks ooogs. I must confess I have to check some peoples profiles on here or on fb to make sure I know who everyone is!
