Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

oh. my. goodness. you know I said earlier alice was struggling and moaning as she needed to do it poo? It just happened and I have NEVER seen anything like it. Poor mite I had to hold her legs up to help her get it out and she stared at me the whole time she was doing it which made me a little Confused. Just changed her nappy and it was collosal (sp) - tmi sorry but I'm in compelte Shock there was so much is was all just lose in the nappy sloshing around and it was so mahosive there was no where else for it to soak in. Thankgoodness the nappy somehow held it in as she has a new outfit on today (knew that would bring it on Wink, and I just noticed it's a winnie the pooh outfit - how truly appropriate Grin ). Apologies to anyone eating. Anyone else had such a Shock experience? I've had seepages through before and what I thought were explosive poos but nothing lives up to this.

ledkr · 08/05/2011 11:11

She must be feeling much better Grin seriously pooh is very rarely a problem people are a little obsessed with bowel movement-trust me im a psychiatricnurse

janedoe25 · 08/05/2011 11:16

Grin at Alice's pooh! Angels a baby i used to childmind for had about 3 of those types a day, except her nappies didn't have a hope in hell of containing them!
It's my 30th this year too, the day after i get married! Are you planning anything for your birthday?

ElleB1980 · 08/05/2011 12:05

I'm v jealous of those of you turning 30 this year. I had a lovely time but we had to cancel the trip my DP had planned due to pregnancy - he'd planned a trip to champagne to do lots of tasting!

angels R saves her truly explosive poo's for one particular Tesco. We've had two belly button coaters in there now!

Still waiting for DP to get out of bed and head home from Manchester...

wigglesrock · 08/05/2011 12:08

Right I'm now stamping my feet and refusing to talk to anyone who has just celebrated their 30th birthday in the past 18 months, or is not yet 30!! Grin Dd1s best friend from schools mummy celebrated her 30th last week, she complained about getting old so much I nearly shoved her bottle of champagne somewhere quite unusual.

I remember my 30th, Mr W took me on holiday for 2 weeks, I had decided after several years to stop stressing about getting pregnant, start to try and let go off a whole lot of things, unclench a little, we had a fab time, and 3 months later I conceived dd1 after five years of unsuccesful trying!!

Laughing at Alices' poo, sorry Angels, agree with Ledkr, us old gimmers stick together I got a great pair of size 16 jeans from Primark and a pair from Next, deffo feel, if not look better in them!!

Debka xxxxxxxxxxx, hope you have a nice day

ledkr · 08/05/2011 12:17

Hmmmph im very jealous of you lot turning 30 because my next big birthday will be 50!!
I would like to share with you my fab 40th birthday story.I was very single and went to cardiff on a girlsy weekend.Firstly we had booked ahotel with a pool and i forgot my cossie. We all went into town to buy one but try getting a cheap cossie in October. Exasperated we went for "lunch" i slice of pizza and much wine.I then bought avery expensive and vile costume 2 sizes too big cos we were drunk.
Went to the hotel pool and there were 2 mahoosive blokes in there with their tackle hanging out of their shorts!Cue much laughter from 11 girls and nearly drowning. We then told them we were there to run the cardiff marathon but they told 2 real marathon runners so we had to have a ridiculous drunken discussion with them about marathons with the girls telling ridiculous marathon stories eg.I ran the dubai marathon Hmm
The following morning we were all returning at 6am worse for wear clutching our burger bags and shoes and we bumped into the real runners,"Morning" we all chirped unconvincingly with mascara on our cheeks Grin

oh yeah and i pulled a 25 yr old !

ledkr · 08/05/2011 12:19

Ah look at me and wiggles remenising-sp? about our birthdays. We are there wiggles,we actually tell stories of the olden days

ledkr · 08/05/2011 12:20

pmsl at wiggles unclenching, maybe thats why you werent getting pg wiggs, all that unecessary clencing Grin

ledkr · 08/05/2011 12:21

or even clenching

janedoe25 · 08/05/2011 12:45

wiggles and ledkr just a thought, but you both might be a bit more at home over in gransnet! Grin

ledkr · 08/05/2011 13:04

grrrrrr, thats it now jane im coming to sort you out.How rude eh wiggles? I actually did consider popping into gransnet tho as i am already a grandmama,i would like to confuse them by one minute talking about dgs and then asking advice on colic for tiny dd Grin
Can i also remind anyone who accuses me of oldness that I am the one who has been hitting it hard whilst you youngsters are tucked up with your coco

wigglesrock · 08/05/2011 13:15

Jane cruising for a bruising pet Grin, I'm not that old, I only say that to Ledkr to keep her company, lest she gets a bit confused, bless her. Although to be fair Ledkr is the one with the hunky younger husband, and has probably had more nights out and better sex than me in the past five years Grin

Ledkr not sure Gransnet is ready for you yet xx

Remember I said last night was Mr Ws night with Anna, well the little monkey slept to 7.30am, no bloody 5am start for him, grr. We are up at my mums today to get fed and spoiled.

hubbard86 · 08/05/2011 13:19

i'm only 25 this year and that scares the bejesus out of me. Grin at ledkr and wiggles on gransnet drinking all the Wine

ledkr · 08/05/2011 14:11

yeah poor wiggles tarred with the ledkr 40+ brush, and yes he is rather gorgeous if slightly annoying at times,id post a pic and you'd all be wishing you were 43!
I was expecting some congrats on pulling a 25yr old on me birthday too.

wigglesrock · 08/05/2011 14:34

Ledkr I'm not speaking to you because of your ability to pull a 25 year old Grin

Hubbard 25, 25 I remember when I was 25, it was all fields round here Wink

janedoe25 · 08/05/2011 14:56

Ha ha you would certainly rock things up with the grannies ledkr! Im just jelous beacause i can't hack the pace anymore, a night out on the piss leaves me with at least a 2 day hangover! The last time i was drunk i was pregnant (but didn't know), i was very drunk maybe tmi but DF and I got down to some dirty in the garden and i fell over skint my knees and forehead! .Blush 4 days later i found i was preggers!

ILovePonyo · 08/05/2011 15:53

You lot have been busy! Grin at jane's drunky antics and ledkr "dubai marathon" Grin

Elle I used to to snobs every week when I lived near brum, and Eddies no8! Dunno if its still there now? Never been out on broad st either despite years of drinking in brum Shock

angels seeing as we're talking poo, dd just did the runniest poo ever, like water Confused and loads of it too. Luckily the nappy kept it in and we're at home :)

Dd woke up loads last night (for her) - 2am, 3am, 4.45 WTF?! I was so baffled, didn't know whether to unswaddle, change bum, leave her and dp slept through the whole thing. So I;m feeling the lack of sleep today even tho dp got up with her at 7am and let me lie in til 9 bless him.
Funny how when something like that happens I panic a little bit - What do I doooo?! Need to trust my instincts a bit more I think.

Hope you're all enjoying your sunday :)

Bensmum76 · 08/05/2011 17:16

Wow we are a chatty lot!
Well, the boys are due home and I've spent most the day in bed! Two hours sleep this morning, popped to shops to get lunch then three hours sleep this afternoon! I don't know how I was functioning before I need five hours sleep to catch up!
Loving all the drunken talk, I'm definitely due an unruly night soon, it's been to long!
Ponyo, I know exactly what you mean when your little one suddenly wakes up more at night, I panic too. Those are usually the nights Noah ends in the marital bed as I give up after a while. I think sometimes, like us, they just have a bit of trouble sleeping!
I turned 35 last week, and keep thinking only five years til I'm 40! and to be honest it doesn't feel that scary. Think now I have my two boys I kinda of feel by the time I'm 40, life will be easier, they'll both be at school and I will getting my life back a bit more again!
Am slightly envious of Hubbard though, when I was 25 things were a lot different! No dh, no responsibilities, bumming around going from job to job and getting trashed every weekend! Ah them was the days

slowangels1 · 08/05/2011 18:07

alice just did another massive poo. I got DH to sort that one out Grin Grin

off to check out if ledkr has put a piccie of her DH up.....

ledkr · 08/05/2011 18:37

dh just said to me "i wasnt 25" i said well it wasnt you i hadnt met you then haha!he was Shock
Whats up with all the babies? D woke up at 10 cos she had been sick last night. She has been sleepy today and not very smiley i hope she's ok.
Jane i was very drunk before i new i was pg but hey thats no great suprise is it?
Bensmum. Then you could do what i did and have another baby!!!Stuff up your nrw found freedom. Anyway the way Noah is he will still be strapped to you in a giant baby sling Grin I love him have you got pics on your profile?

Angels i meant to say about taking D's cot to Ibiza,i may commission a giant moses basket to guarantee she continues to sleep well.
I will post pics of dh but there will be a browsing fee Grin

ledkr · 08/05/2011 18:40

Shock at janedoes dogging! Grin

hubbard86 · 08/05/2011 18:57

i get very Envy of others my age, no responsiblities, having fun etc. Whereas i'm married with 2 children and a house to run. But by the time i'm 40 tom will be 18 and freya 16 so i will be able to have a life then. I had a night out a month ago but not planning another one till beginning of june.

ElleB1980 · 08/05/2011 19:28

Well, DP finally made it home 4:30. I shouldn't complain as I had my fun last week but I just got my first period since the birth and R has developed a new VERY LOUD squeal when she is playing and my ears are ringing!

ponyo Snobs is still going strong (although I haven't been for at least a year). Eddies burnt down a few years ago, I think maybe 4 years ago but it could be 5! It was open when the fire started but everyone got out ok I think.

We're planning a city break to Cambridge at the end of the week.
Just need a few days away. This time last year we went to Brighton for a festival (suspect that's when DD was conceived!). Lots of drunken fun! Then we came home, got horrendously drunk another couple of times, moved house (I even carried the sofa and wardrobes) then about a week later I found out I was up the duff! How time flies!

ledkr · 08/05/2011 20:10

elles D has that squeal,i cant tell if she is annoyed or not.
She has been very strange today. Dh just bathed her and gave her her last bottle which she normally falls asleep drinking, the bottle finished and she was just looking at him then smiled!

wigglesrock · 08/05/2011 20:19

Well all fed and watered and home from my mums with extra food Grin. I found out I was pregnant with Anna 30 mins before doing the interview for my current job. I was in such a good mood that they must have thought I was a very pleasant, smiley people person, silly fools!!!

Anna refused to sleep all day, has finally went down, hopefully for a good few hours.
