Blooming 'eck. I sneak one tiny night out and you lot go bananas and fill about ten pages. I haven't read it all yet but it seems we're all shredding....mine has been dispatched so am expecting it today or Monday.

Welcome along Irishqueen.

wiggles Apologies for not noticing your flounce. I was out on the beers :)

Bit of an early start here - R was being a noisy monkey from about 4:30. I think she's getting too big for her Moses basket and every time she moves around she wakes herself up. She's not properly awake though and actually only got up for the day at about 8. We're going to try her in her own room tonight...

tad Am v jealous of the giggles. We're still on a chortle here.

MisK Awesome weight loss. You won't even need the shred!

40 have amazing fun at Center Parcs. We went last summer and I loved it. My mum's coming down today so DP might pop off out for an hour or two without R!

wigglesrock · 21/05/2011 10:35

ElleB Did you end up getting a babysitter or did you win the toss? Grin

Am having slight A sleep issues, she is doing her usual at night which I'm fine with but is really starting to fight the daytime naps, most of the time she's in brill form, not sleeping but she's giggling away, she will do lots of guffawing but only if you tickle her tum! but she's at her mouth an awful lot - last week I thought it was just normal discovering her hands etc but she is looking rosy of cheek and they are slightly warm - say its not so - not the dreaded teeth Shock

emski very jealous of the Kindle and the husband Grin I was hanging out beside one in Tescos yesterday but Mr W was having none of it!!

40Weeks Happy Anniversary - how long have you been married, hope you have a better time of it today.

debka · 21/05/2011 10:51

Honesty please now ladies.

I am fat. And extremely wobbly.

Will The Shred kill me?

I have finally got round to doing something about my profile and put a picture of Sabine up! I had to twist DH's arm ask DH to email it to me, when I summon up the courage I'll get him to send one of my big girl and maybe one of me too.

Bina is NOT in my good books today Angry ledkr, she woke at 3.30 for a feed, then 5 when I fed her again, then cried at 6, I got her up and she went back to bed at 6.30. Up again at 7.30, then again at 9.30. She is whingey and annoying and obviously tired. I dozed a bit on the sofa in between all this because bloody darling DH was snoring like a pig gently purring.

Did I tell you when we were away in the hotel Imy and I woke up early (I pretended to still be asleep though) and DH was snoring his head off, Imy said: DADDY!! PIG!! SNORT SNORT!!

irishqueen how can you lurk for so long and not post? You know everything about us, you must SPILL some beans now!! BTW love the name Maeve.

mizk had a look at your profile pics- did you start having children at about 15???!! You look far too young to have big kids!! How old are they?

wiggles it's not just the cutting and pasting, it's the potty training expertise too Grin

OP posts:
wigglesrock · 21/05/2011 11:02

Debka think I may have weed myself a little at Imy and Daddy Pig, seriously. We are aware that my potty training expertise is likely to be based on my parenting ability to instill discipline with chocolate and bribery - just so we are all clear Grin

Right off to pick up Sofia & Olivia, they stayed at my Mums last night, apparently have been baking all morning Grin Met cousins girlfriend last night, she's lovely, if she wasn't so bloody nice I'd hate her grr. Imagine a 24 year old half Italian, half Australian air hostess, now lengthen the legs, make her slightly skinnier again and you're there. Oh she also had hair to rival Kate Middletons' - Sofia's obsessed Grin

Emski76 · 21/05/2011 11:20

Wow ladies you can chat alot!
Welcome Irish Queen!
Ledkr, well done to Dilly for sleeping so well again. You deserve with the worry you've had with het. Now, can you please ask her to have a little chat with Noah about sleeping! He wasn't actually that bad last night, but came in with us at 4.30 with a really snotty nose, dh had to use the nose sucker!
They've gone off for the day now so I'm laid in bed with the iPad!
Dh had got me the shred DVD on here so might take a look at it later......I'm not actually planning on doing any, just gonna watch a bit! Ledkr, are you sure your not friends with this shred lady, and have a cut of her profits?? Her sales must have doubled thanks to you!
Elle, hope you had a good night out.
Mizk well done on the weight loss! I have a christening to go tk tomorrow and a very figure hugging dress to wear, do you think if I starve myself today and watch the shred DVD I'll lose half a stone by then? Nah, didn't think so!
Do you think the babies are fighting naps because their so much more aware now? I tried to get Noah to nap a few tines yesterday, and he just yawned away and refused to close his eyes. If I close his bedroom door to block out the light he cries! He must have had about ten mini five minute naps yesterday, little bugger!
Well, I'm off to sleep now. Catch up later

janedoe25 · 21/05/2011 11:43

debka Sabine is beautiful! I have ordered the shred and iam so unfit, i too fear it may kill me! All for a good cause though.

reastie what a beautiful family you have, you look so pretty and happy! I may put up a pic of myself for you all to have a laugh at!

byronicheroine · 21/05/2011 12:03

Our weekend plans include an Ikea trip - woohoo! May throw in lunch (meatballs and choc cake!), no diets or exercise here, thank you! Very impressed that all of you are even thinking about exercising, I just about manage to have a shower (most days).
Yes, true about the prostitutes, but maybe less so these days. I used to hang out with a lot of Turkish boys in Bournemouth (don't ask) and they mostly lost it by paying for it. It's pretty sad actually. DP's father offered to get rid of his virginity by paying someone to relieve him, but he (thankfully) declined. His brother, on the other hand, and I have never told anyone this in rl, got a blow job off the cleaner! Sorry for lowering the tone of the thread...
On a completely different note, we found a tiny bit of blood in K's nappy this morning. Panicked a bit and called our midwife (who did lots of after care with him) and she said not to worry but keep an eye on it (his nappies?!) for a few days. Anyone else?
Enjoy your weekends

Grannyapple · 21/05/2011 15:20

Hello ladies...well all this talk of the shred DVD has got me intrigued...so have ordered one Grin. I also joined a gym with a Creche so 1st visit tomorrow (without Nate) but booking him into Creche for some classes over next few weeks,so that should be interesting!!

Didn't see the thread that ledkr got kicked off from, but can imagine the narrow minded comments from others...feck em all jane

Went to look at a nursery today...scary prices & scary thinking that I need to consider how I'll be going back to work...already! But provisionally booked a place so feel a bit better in that regard...

Loved the pre & post Nate comment wobbly

Welcome irishqueen

40Weeks · 21/05/2011 15:39

Ooh you are nearish me grannyapple may I ask which gym/crèche? I promise not to stalk you Wink

Enjoy your peace today emski well earned I say! Very jealous of the iPad!

wiggles it's been 7 years today since tying the knot. Full og magic moments and not a cross word between us

Am dropping ds1&2 off to my mums for the night. Am I terrible for counting down the hours?

I got a note from the posted about a parcel we missed, I fear it mY be The Shred? I am scared already

40Weeks · 21/05/2011 15:40

Postie not posted

reastie · 21/05/2011 16:06

deb that is the cutest pic of bina (good nn Grin ). Made my heart melt and feel all broody Shock

40 I'm going to hide from every woman with 3 children I see when I go to polhill now Wink Grin Hmm

ems you'll defo lose at least 10 lbs just by watching the shred dvd don't you know Wink . Enjoy your peaceful day

welcome irishqueen (so want to say dancing queen a la abba but no idea why!)

re: this napping lark- mt baby book says babies become much more aware and start sleeping less between 3-4months Hmm

kitchen looks a disaster after being tarted up. FIL came over this morning to give his opinion as he used to install kitchens and his face actually Shock . :(

Shock to byron re: prositituion scene in greece - you learn allsorts on here Wink . no blood in nappies here except when a was first born which apparently is normal in girls Hmm

yes granny - nosey here too - which gym? 40 which one you go to? I used to go to nizels (still a sleeping member) - fab fab gym - loved it, but quite ££.

happy anniversary 40

Whoever starts the new thread when we get there, I feel it will have to have the word shred somewhere in the title as it seems everyone is obsessed. I feel like deb though - a bit huge and scared (anyone know if it's good to do with a bad back??).

reastie · 21/05/2011 16:08

mizk forgot to say am Envy at your piccie - you look fab Grin

wigglesrock · 21/05/2011 16:17

40Weeks we'll have been married for 13 years this September, first 7 are the hardest Grin, God no, it was lovely not having Sofia and Olivia in the house this morning Blush Anna may have been up from stuipd o'clock but it was so peaceful, no bickering and demands for coco pops fruit.

Debka know we all have gorgeous babies on the thread - what a coincidence Grin but that picture of Sabine really is beautiful.

Byronicheroine Not sure about the blood but try not to worry about it , I know it can happen with baby girls after they're born and for a while. (bloody hormones)

Grannyapple · 21/05/2011 16:23

Hi 40 it's the virgin gym in Bromley. Bit annoying...need to pay a subscription for Nate too but means I can take him unlimited swimming. Isn't cheap but I think dh realised I needed to something other than wait for him to get home before I could go running etc. Plus it gets both me & bubba used to putting him in a Creche...handy for when I go back to work.

americanexpat · 21/05/2011 17:13

Right, I've ordered the Shred DVD, to add to the pile of exercise DVDs I am too lazy busy to do. I have seen it before but not done it and Jillian's voice drives me crazy (and I say that as an American!). I've had it with my wobbly tum though, I'm guessing it's not going to shrink any more on its own. I still have a gym membership but haven't managed to drag myself yet.

reastie - you are still gorgeous and love your family photo. I have a series of photos when we tried to take a family photo, L is in various stages of screaming in the first 5 and just looks asleep in the 6th.

Grin at Daddy Pig. DH is well used to getting The Elbow when he's snoring.

ElleB1980 · 21/05/2011 19:51

Gosh, busy busy again.

wiggles I really don't know hoe you go on with your 3 girls.
I can barely cope with one tiny baby who doesn't eat real food yet! Must have felt like bliss to just wake up to one. And yep, I won the baby left, baby right competition so I got to go out last night :)

Emski how much do you heart the iPad? I'm not sure if I prefer mine to R?!

Debka I have a friend whose 3 year old only ever refers to her as Mummy Pig. Strangers must think she is a right brat!

Regarding sleeping, R only ever cat naps although I've noticed this week she's getting more of a pattern. She does sleep very well at night so I wont whinge

Going to have a beer and watch TV tonight. My mum has had R this afternoon while DP and I went shopping. I almost feel like a real person again!

ledkr · 21/05/2011 20:30

Hi all,far too much written to do individual replies but you all sound chipper.
reastie have you paid for the kitchen? What are you doing about it?F'ing workmen.
Right, the shred. I am size 16 a.t.m. have always been to gym but cant run at all,i have not done any exercise since i was about 16 wks pg apart form the Davina post natal about 4 times. I have a dodgy knee, hip and shoulder and my fat wobbles when i jump, like you lot i recently had baby (5th by c section) and im 43 Grin.
Do you still need to be convinced you can manage it? The first time i did the cardio weakly and stopped occasionally, today 3rd time i did the whole damn lot!!! I dont do one of the weights moves as i would hurt my boobs but i do a different one but i manage everything else. It takes less than half an hr with warm up and cool down and i am literally running with sweat afterwards but feel great. Strangely my aches and pains seem a lot less too. I cannot comment on weight loss yet but my tummy is easier to pull in.Love it.

Pool was fabulous me and dilly sat and read the papers and had a coffee.Ella and her mate swam and shivered altho water was 85 degrees.

The vile thread is still there but a bereaved mother has just put them straight, her story made me weep openly WE ARE SO LUCKY GIRLS, hats off to Jane again and lots of love to her and df. I am so glad im not like those Morons.

Dilly is installed in the spare room where she is spending the night with Daddy whilst me and Ella snuggle sin my bed and eat galaxy and watch Harry Potter, cant wait. Night all xxxx

debka · 21/05/2011 20:51

led I love hearing you talk about Ella, I can't wait till Imy grows up a bit more and we can do things like that together.

Bina had her first day out at the seaside today, was lovely, Imy played in the sand and she and her dress had their first Mr Whippy Grin. Had a incredibly slightly embarrassing al-fresco bfing experience- S grabbed my top as I sat her up after feeding her and the whole beach got a great flash of saggy boob! See reastie I need one of your jobbies, that would never have happened to you!

Thanks for the compliments on my Bina- you wouldn't be saying such nice things if you'd seen her very new, she was HUGE! BTW she doesn't look malnourished does she?

OP posts:
wigglesrock · 21/05/2011 20:57

ledkr sounds like a lovely evening, enjoy.

Elle the older two aren't too bad, they play with each other now and can go to the toilet, reach the fridge etc all the important things Grin Sofia is at school now and Olivia goes to playgroup 4 afternoons a week, so I get a whole hour to myself inbetween pick up times, well I still have Anna but most days she's the easiest of all three. Don't get me started on the bloody dog.

Have added some photos I think Grin

reastie · 21/05/2011 21:06

galaxy ledkr yuuuummmmmm - I prefer galaxy to cadburys (shhhh, don't tell elle Wink ) . Kitchen wise we've paid 60% already but have said we need to go through the pages of snags before we will pay the rest. The worktops have been cut badly, there's big gaps at the back/end of worktops, the tap is different to the one I asked for, there's a big hole in the worktop next to the gas hob Shock the list goes on and on :( I'm fed up - we've been without an organised kitchen since tuesday and now we can't even pack things back in the cupboard as to do the job properly (assuming they are capable and willing) they have to compeltely redo worktops from scratch so no point in putting things back only to get them out again Angry. He's coming in the next couple of days to go through with DH what we're not happy with Hmm willl keep you posted. As you know, I cook most things from scracth so really annoyed I can't cook easily - every time I need a blinking piece of equipment I have to hunt in messy piles of stuff the room next door

Think I will try the shred but first I have an erin someone or other post natal dvd I haven't tried yet so will give that a go first. Will report if it's any good. ledkr silly question but I have no idea - is it OK for us to do tummy excercised now after csec? anything involving my tum makes scar hurt - I don't know if this is normal and I need to get past the ache or if this is body saying this isn't good for you Hmm

I think some people on mn just have issues and are really inconsiderate - my DOTD Grin re: bfing covers there was a mini kick off where someone mentioned some people don't want to expose their breasts as they have had sexual abuse in the past and there were some really insensitive responses about it Confused. I have no idea if these people are like this in RL or if they are just hiding behind anonimity and looking for trouble.

Night all. Lots of sleepy vibes to the babies

wigglesrock · 21/05/2011 21:10

reastie Hark at you at your DTOD, you'll be getting as bad as Debka, all high and mighty because she started this thread and its been so busy Grin

reastie · 21/05/2011 21:10

xposted deb I'mm too Blush to wear my coverer after what some people said about them - it's made me really self conscious about using it Confused.

wiggles love the new piccies - anna looks so lovely on the top one where she's smiling. Good one of the 3 girls together too. Where's the one of you? Wink Grin

reastie · 21/05/2011 21:11

too late wiggles I'm leaving you all for bigger and better things Wink Grin Grin

wobblybumm · 21/05/2011 21:14

Oh my memory is too bad to recall anything I have just read! Ledkr I am not at all Envy of your Dilly's night, why Nate also did 7 till 830. Except this was 7am till 830 am.
Debka Bina is very cute! Reastie and mizk you are both very pretty.
I am not putting up a picture of me for obvious reasons but will find one of Nate where he doesn't have acne and is looking a bit boggle-eyed is smiling.
irishqueen i am upset that i am not the new girl anymore! This has also happened in real life where my friend has just had a baby so I don't have the littlest baby anymore in our group. Getting urge to conceive again, DH on a stag do so may hire a gigolo a la byronic - not that you hired a gigolo just gave me the idea!
Congratulations on your anniversary 40 well done, wiggles 13 years is marvellous Smile

ElleB1980 · 21/05/2011 21:20

Erm Galaxy Reastie?! I assume that as a cook-from-scratch kinda gal you know it doesn't even have real milk in it. Yuck. And obviously if I can convert you I might get a bigger bonus :) Or you could just have Green and Blacks instead...that also helps my bonus.

wiggles The girls are lovely. I'll try and follow suit soon and get some pics up, but can't do from the iPad so will have to excavate tidy the computer desk to do it.

ledkr Now have a Harry Potter craving. Can't wait for the next one, we'll need a babysitter for that one,
