Ponyo I have been shredding! It's good - I've lost an inch from my waist! I haven't done it today though and had a curry and poppadoms for tea with Dairy Milk afterwards. Feeling a bit guilty now Blush.

ILovePonyo · 20/05/2011 21:02

Ha just realised its moulting, not malting like malted milk! Silly ponyo.

I have quite a lot of hair too luckily deb, tis more annoying then anything plugging up the bath Grin

How long have you been shredding for wandering? An inch from the waist is very impressive! Well done you. It means you derserve your curry and choc!

ledkr · 20/05/2011 21:22

thanks ponyo.Mrs devere is over there now sorting them out Grin I was going to say please nobody leave this thread before Dillys' op.i dont know how id have coped without it when she was poorly.
Yes noah sort your little self out and sleep for your mother will you!!!

40Weeks · 20/05/2011 21:37

Jane please don't ever think we would be offended by your photo, i thought it was a beautiful photo and was glad you shared her with us all. I hope you are ok. The comments of total strangers can have a funny effect on us (not that it was anywhere near in the same league, but I couldn't eat or sleep after my flaming on my own aibu thread and dh thought I was mental) bit don't let them matter - they don't.

Come back wiggles

WanderingSheep · 20/05/2011 21:42

Ponyo been doing it for just over a week, I think. I haven't done it everyday like you're supposed to though. I've been counting calories for a while too but I'm so crap at diets and healthy eating!

I have tried to report the AIBU thread. Not sure I I've do e it right as I haven't had a reply. I clicked report on the first post. Is that what you do? I've never felt inclined to report a thread before but this one is horrid.

reastie · 20/05/2011 21:42

Yes I'm malted milking too Grin. It's a bit Confused as my darn hairs get everywhere. Sadly just the ones from my head are going - still have the hairy tum pg gave me Blush

yes ledkr the op looming up on you must be a constant worry. We all find it bad enough with LOs having injections. I'm sure Dilly will be a strong and lusty little thing but until it's over it's hanging over you isn't it?

wandering you're on my list to see profile so it's nothing personal Hmm enjoy the dairy milk btw Grin

Still haven't been on AIBU thread - not sure I want to after what everyone's said

DH and I feel like we must have an antena for bad workman - kitchen done and it's been rubbishly finished. Everything we've had done since moving here we haven't been happy with and are starting to think either we are really fussy (moi?!) or the workmen we've had (lots of different ones come from different recommendations) are useless.

byron Shock about the prostitutes - is that really true?

yes ponyo there are too many post on my DOTD to keep up with quickly - usually I'm lucky to get a handful Hmm

jane I hope whatever was said on AIBU doesn't worry or haunt your thoughts over the weekend

benandnoahsmum here's hoping for lots of long soaks in the bath and sleeps for you this weekend.

40Weeks · 20/05/2011 21:47

Sorry iPhone wouldn't let me post more than a few lines...

ledkr dilly's op will be fine, I know it easy to say but both mine have had ops, ds1 at 18m and ds2 at 3m - it's horrid when they go down but you are made of stern stuff and have no doubt you will do brill when the time comes.

reastie LOVE the profile pics, you don't live that far from me so will keep an eye out so if you see a mad woman come running towards you with 3 kids in tow and a special handshake (yet to be determined) then spare a thought it might be me before you diall 999 Grin

Thanks for your post Byronic you really made me laugh

Been a shitty week here. Wedding anniversary tomorrow and we getting on each others tits no end.

Good job wandering mine is winging it's way to me as we speak - am a bit scared to be honest. Do you need your own weights and stuff?

40Weeks · 20/05/2011 21:52

Ooh and hello wobblysoontobesveltebum

WanderingSheep · 20/05/2011 22:19

Be just been doing it on the rug 40. DH has weights but I started without as it's my tummy that needs the most work. I've moved up to weights but it fecking kills my arms [weakling emoticon].

Reastie I think it's a fault with either my phone, or MN as the photos come up but it's just a blank square, iykwim. Never mind it'll probably work again at some point .

Welcome Wobblybum Smile

ledkr · 20/05/2011 22:47

wow we have become a shred thread,i knew someone ready did it,i use 2k weights cos thats all i have and do it on the rug,i can hold my tummy in better now,i also had curry and sweets but i did shred to get my anger out from the thread especially as i was deleted for nothing near like some people were saying. In bed now am shattered. SLEEEEEEEEEEEEP feb babies look into my eyes not around the eyes...............

irishqueen · 21/05/2011 00:06

Hi ladies,
Have you room for another one? I am a long time lurker. Technically I should be on March post natal but when duffed up this was the one I occasionaly looked at avidly read
I have Maeve born on March 1st if it was a leap yr i could have qualified
I am Irish but living in scotchland. I have dd1 and ds1 with ex husbando and now wee dd2 with dp or pftd (precious first time daddy)
Wiggles should let me in due to NornIron connection and Ledkr has to let me in as I used her inlaws story to cheer up my friend with evil evil Mil
I await your acceptance

irishqueen · 21/05/2011 00:13

oh and i am about to buy the shred grrrrrr

WanderingSheep · 21/05/2011 06:09

Hi and welcome IrishQueen! I think there are a few babies that were born in March and the first of March is practically Feb anyway Grin. How good would it be to have a DC born on the 29th Feb? Think of all the money you would save on birthday presents - "no sweetheart, it's not your birthday this year!" Wink

I've been up since silly o'clock again but we're off out for the day and I need to be up earlyish anyway so there's no point in going back to bed! Grr! I'll be knackered by lunchtime. Bloody baby!

tadjennyp · 21/05/2011 06:35

High all Grin and welcome irishqueen and pertbumm Wink

It has taken me literally all day (and it's still Friday night here) to read this thread and then I read the FB/photo thread. Angry I am sorry if you were upset by this Jane and I like the rest of us on here was amazed that you had the strength and dignity to share the photo of Zoe with us. She is beautiful.

I know wandering is up but I hope everyone else has had a good night's sleep. S is sleeping well at night but not much one for naps in the day. Takes after his brother and sister! We went to see a friend who has had her fourth. Her baby is 8 weeks old and the difference between him and S is amazing. It's so cool how much he has grown and what he can do now! He giggled at his Dad tickling him today. Smile

Dilly's op must be a real worry for you ledkr. I hope they give you an exact date soon so you can plan for it. Everyone's always here for you on here as you are for everyone else (even if I am a day behind Sad )

Sorry about your kitchen finish reastie. I hope you can manage to touch it up so it's better.

Apologies if I have missed anyone. I hope you all have a lovely weekend with dhs taking over and giving you lots of rest. Here's to some good weather for all.

tadjennyp · 21/05/2011 06:37

Sorry, by difference between them I just meant how much S has developed and the difference in age. I wasn't comparing babies, baby T is gorgeous, cuddly and still quite newborn.

MizK · 21/05/2011 07:06

Morning girls, am in bed with a snoring Cass on my chest, she looks so cute and comfy that I can't bear to move!
jane I read that thread, and just want to say to please not tar any of us with the same brush as the idiots who said mean things. I was very honoured that you shared Zoe's pic with us, she is a Feb girl and we won't forget her, having a photo of her is what any parent would do. The thing I found sad when I read it is how many people have gone through losing their babies it just made me ache. Hope you are okay and please don't let simple minded dickheads like that hurt you.
Welcome to newbies! This is a lovely thread to be on apart from ledkr somehow brainwashes you into buying the shred dvd. I personally will thank her for the world of pain awaiting me when the DVD arrives.....!
Oh yes I actually wanted to have a smug moment, my hunger pains worked and I lost 4 pounds this week - going to allow myself a mini Mexican wave of triumph! I used a site called Food Focus where you log your food and exercise and basically it gives you a calorie target. Its free so worth a look?
reastie I can't see your pics yet, waa! There is a preg pic of me on my profile where I don't look my best I must say! Will post more flattering one some time I think.
Hope you are all still sleeping and have had peaceful nights....

40Weeks · 21/05/2011 07:09

Morning

Another early start here, but 6.20 is better than the usual 5am so I actually don't feel that bad. For some reason after M's night feed I could NOT ge back to sleep - mind racing. So frustrating.

So what's everyone got planned for weekend? We are getting ready for centre parcs on Monday - dh has two weeks off so when we get back it's Potty Training time for ds2 so wiggles you have to come back!!

Hello irishqueen welcome and congrats on the birth of Maeve

40Weeks · 21/05/2011 07:11

Nice one on the weight loss mizk enjoy your cuddles!

wigglesrock · 21/05/2011 08:09

Oh for Christs sake what is the point of me needing a swift shake being a tad tired and emotional and revelling in a mini flounce if you are all going to keep on going without me. That is not allowed, it's all about meeeeee, didn't you not get that memo Grin

And you Irishqueen you are almost allowed in - tell me your views on Tayto? I will tentatively add you to the list - they only want me because of my cutting and pasting skills.

reastie lovely photos - you look gorgeous in all of them. I might put some photos of me up, I took some the christening ones down, I might search for some of the wedding ones, at least I had some make up on then.

tad know what you mean, I know 3 babies younger than A and she seems soooo much bigger than them.

ILovePonyo · 21/05/2011 08:19

Good morning all, well dd was awake and making a noise from 5 but managed to get her back for a bit more sleep for an hour with the help of the dummy :)

Welcome irishqueen this thread can move a bit fast sometimes, we're a chatty lot Grin and has been amazing help and support too.

40weeks hope you're ok, is it your wedding anniversary today? Sorry you've a shitty week and hope next week is better, I've never been to centre parks but the adverts look pretty good!

:) at S giggling tadjenny, how cute, I can't wait for dd's first chuckle. god I remember when I was worrying dd wasn't smiling Hmm, now shes a right smiler bless her.

MizK well done on the weight loss :) I used to use that food focus website, its really good for making you think about what you eat b'cos you have to record everything, (eg my choccie biscuits for breakfast today Shock) Its interesting and sometimes depressing to see what you've eaten all written down.

We're all going to be shredders on this thread arent' we?! I should have ordered it sooner because I've got the 'do' to go to on Fri, however I have my M&S suck your tum in vest to wear instead Grin

ILovePonyo · 21/05/2011 08:21

janedoe25 · 21/05/2011 10:12

Morning girls, and welcome irishqueen if you dont mind me asking wher in scotland are you? I'm just outside Glasgow.

I don't think that thread over in aibu should be deleted, just the posts from the narrow minded fuckwits will do! However i know that they will not be deleted. Ah well not to worry, the only thing that matters is what people i choose to be friends with believe. I am PROUD to have Zoe's pic up! Rant over.

wiggles Thanks for the message.

ledkr yay dilly Grin, oh and i have also ordered the shred, i need to squeeze into a wedding dress some how.

Thanks to all the fab feb ladies for giving the twats a telling off! Grin
