no not donw yet stac have a few things on order so i'll wait until absolutely everything is here and then get it all done together! got it tuned up the other day though. it just puts up the bhp. i love it!
tsc wow frankie is flying it! he'd really advanced! must be the brilliant parenting Grin! we just have the mama dada nana and yeah yeah here! not pulling herself up yet and is still crawling backwards! she was killing herself today trying to crawl forward as i had one of her toys left just out of her reach but she just kept getting further and further away!
wss enjoy the hols!
had quite a busy week. mad busy tomorrow too thankfully! and then out tomorrow night for the first time in over 2 months!! can't bloody wait!

CakeandRoses · 05/03/2011 01:11

Hey all,

Look at the time Shock, just got in from a real actual party with drink and everything Grin

sorry i didn't reply memph, haven't been in since this afternoon. chulita's method is the same as i'd have said but mlic's sounds good too [diplomatic]. if you want to add a bit of oomph then a tiny bit of mustard (eg mustard powder) or marmite really brings out the flavour of the cheese.

wss properly laughed at dementor. just snorted again typing it. he sounds a treasure! enjoy your hols with him Grin

kk the moving away from the thing she wants is an Aurelia special too - tickles me!

oh and have booked F's check now - phoned them earlier, they were about to call me with an appt Hmm. it's a '2-2.5 yr' Hmm check and A's is a 'pre-9month' check.

post more at a civilised time tomo.

night all - hope everyone gets some sleep

Jealous at the party cake. And agree a bit if mustard powder makes cheese sauce even better

L is desperate to crawl. He keeps throwing himself on his knees and giving it his best efforts. He manages the odd shuffle fwds but move bkwds really quickly.

2 yr check? Didn't have one for e. They sent questionnaire with 5 questions which I don't recall returning!

Sorry guys too tired now to post properly. Most sleep had this wk is 4 broken hrs. Lucas suffering with his ears again. Tonight she went to bed at 7.10, woke around 8, then back in bed 10 mins later. Up 9.45 to 12.30 and again at 3.30. Is in the bed with me in hope I get a little more sleep. Not seeming likely Sad

Hope ur all having better nights St Davids

MelissaM · 05/03/2011 06:18

mlic dh agreed to a puppy but with my pnd he wanted to wait til the summer but i persuaded him to get one now, but he won on the name of him and the size dog, i wanted a little one he wanted a bigger dog, apparently the pup was naughty although he slept all night and once got up and found a pen and took it to his bed!! yes he was so bad?!?! she couldnt copw with L and had to get sil to sort him out, we were 2 hour incompetent cow!!!!Grin
thanks on the cheese sauce is same as what i did but i obviouslt did something wrong at the flour stage!
L woke at 4.30 then 8!!! and we had silence from the puppy too!!
tsc im still laughng at he had my tit off!!!!
wss have a great time with the dementor!!!

I'm with you on the tooth thing tsc Sad, A's now got 2 and kind of cheese grates on my nipple. She did it twice in a row last night (i can't believe i gave her a second chance tbh) and by the second time my nipple was throbbing for ages.

melissa hope you catch up on some sleep today

My head's ok actually thanks mlic Smile as i didn't have much myself. knowing you'll have to bf is a good way of curbing how much you drink!

memph did you take it off the heat when you add the flour in the way chul said? otherwise the flour starts to cook into kinda pastry which makes it gritty. if you did, perhaps take it off the heat a bit sooner so the butter isn't as hot when you add the flour.

had a lie-in til 10am this morning too Shock as A had been awake at the party so was happy to lie in, bless her. F at my step-mother's house til lunchtime when we'll collect him.

He's doing so so well re potty training. No accidents at all thurs or fri including at the play barn (where he used the loo), and he's been great at my step-mothers too this morning (even did a poo on her loo Grin.

i've accidentally taught him to say goodbye to wees and poos (the intention was for him to be ok about flushing away poos) so now he says "Bye poo poo" after every wee too. That's one i really hope he grows out of by adulthood Blush

anyway, off for a chocolate cupcake elevenses with A and dh now.

anyone up to anything interesting today?

We had a fantastic night last night Hmm S up 11, 1, L up 2, S up 3, L up 3.45, S up 5 and up for the day at 5.45.

No teeth for us yet Grin so, so, so happy cos my nips are already sore from his constant feeding and couldn't be doing with biting too.

wss hope you have a lovely holiday!

stac you're so good at keeping up with everyone. No news on the house, we've got a couple of expenses coming up so we're going to see at the end of the month if we can up the offer (fingers crossed the house is still on the market!)

Thread titles:
July 2010: red cheeks, dribbly chin, it's time to get the bonjela in
July 2010: crawling, teething, eating and talking, it won't be long before they're walking

Just so cake doesn't panic too much Wink

CakeandRoses · 05/03/2011 12:23

I like the first one chul thanks:

July 2010: red cheeks, dribbly chin, it's time to get the bonjela anbesol, Liquid of the Gods in.

OP posts:
CakeandRoses · 05/03/2011 12:25

oh and sorry for your crap-awful night Sad

want to borrow a glorified pillow case?

OP posts:
Chulita · 05/03/2011 12:33

I thought of Anbesol but Bonjela flowed better. Maybe we should use 'teething gel' so we're not seen as unduly biased towards one particular brand that none of us even use .

Re walking, S will potter along with L's trundle truck filled with bricks with me following close behind in case he topples backwards and cracks his head so it might not be that far off...

Thanks for the offer, I might go and cut a head-hole in one of my old ones and see if it makes a difference to his sleeping Grin

ideas great tho and obv works for some

OP posts:
Chulita · 05/03/2011 12:49

It took L a little while to get the hang of it but it was the best we had.

Send the pillowcase cake , S has been fighting sleep for an hour now. Every time I go to calm him down he's rubbing his eyes and snuggling into me but as soon as I put him down again he full on screams Sad not sure what's up, maybe I should calpol him...

Oh my god, we've just had blood.

Shortly after accomplishing his first few steps (a mad dash whilst he clung on to his brick trolley by himself!!), he pulled himself up on the tv unit, then promptly fell down, smacking his chin on it and biting his tongue.

There were tears and after a couple of sucks of a damp cold flanel he was off to do it again...idiot.

stac We haven't yet heard about the hearing test, going to chase up the HV next week.
