im only jokin about having a party (or am i??) as ill be too knackered after helping her to move and look after baba too!! but must not sounds too enthusataic (sp) to help her??

Riebee · 03/11/2005 20:49

Well the hospital visit went ok . He looked very peaceful which was nice to see as has been in a lot of pain of late. It was a bit hard to see the nil by mouth sign above his bed as it really seemed to bring it home that he is dying. The nurses are keeping him comfortable with mouth sponges etc. All the time we were there though you just expected him to open his eyes and give us one of his smiles. We just sat and talked and stroked his hair while the chimpster trashed the room. I am glad we went to see him, its just waitng now.

Superblast...i bet you can't wait for the 5th...hurray

Superblastofflips · 03/11/2005 22:17

its doesnt look like we are going out to see Fireworks tmrw nite as baba is too terrified of them !! so we will all look out of the window instead

maisiemog · 04/11/2005 13:22

Reibee, I'm glad you got to see him and he was peaceful. I hope the next few weeks aren't too difficult for you. Sending hugs from me and Alfie.
Biglips - can you still get those indoor fireworks? We used to have them ages ago, they were very silly.

KathH · 04/11/2005 16:45

Riebee - so sorry to hear your news.

Well, we're back, had a great time but 4 1/2 flight with moley on my knee was hell. In fact so hell that we've changed next years holiday from Tenerife to Majorca. Moley learnt to walk while we were there, but in typical mole fashion decided to run first.

jbadgirl · 04/11/2005 18:59

Riebee - So sorry to hear your news x

Ds had his first session at Hydro therapy which he enjoyed i think! Dp went in the pool with him as i forgot to buy a swimming costume (was rushing around some shops last night trying to find one) does anyone sell swimwear in the winter lol!

Ds had not been sleeping too well recently, so most nights i have been getting about 4 hours sleep , as well as working almost full time, trying to sell/buy property, and organise a wedding!!!! Glutten for punishment me!

Going to upload a pic of ds in his halloween outfit soon once i get my camera cable back from dps mums house!!! He looks rather cute and i feel a little guilty that i actually made him wear it lol!!!!!

Superblastofflips · 04/11/2005 20:18

jbad - go to Mothercare NOW!!! as they have swimming custome there (i think its there all year but best to go there now before they dont have them during winter and they are £7.00 too)

Kath - welcome home.. glad you had a gud holiday and i cant imagine my DD sitting on my knee as she is on the move all the time

ill have a go tmrwe nite (bonfire nite) with baba as i took her out half an hour ago for a evening walk to the shops and she saw a firework go off (i nearly wetted myself!!) but i couldnt decide what face she had on either or WWWWWAAAAAAAAAAILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!! look

Hi all - sorry not been around for ages - Happy Birthday to all of the dc's - sorry I missed them all!!
Been on Mn - just missed this thread!! Brain really not with it - dd has cut 4 teeth in the space of two weeks and boy am I suffering.
Geogteach - thanks for the invite to ds2 birthday - sorry didn't see it otherwise I would have loved it!!
DD loved her birthday last week - although not overly keen on ice-cream - it went in and straight back out again.
Riebee - sorry to hear your news.
sorry to all others that I havn't mentioned but too many to speak to you all!!

maisiemog · 04/11/2005 22:49

OMG Kath! Moley learnt to walk in Tenerife!! What happened? Was he a good boy? Did he go in the sea?
Jbad, I know what you mean. I love dressing up Alfie in ridiculous clothing, but I know it's really for me not him. We bought him this stupid bunny ear hat from H&M, which falls over his face, and we make him wear it so we can laugh.
Kisses to all the ill babies, hope they're all on the mend soon.
Biglips, is tmrrw a text way of saying tomorrow?

Superblastofflips · 04/11/2005 22:50
