Our house is pretty poorly still. DD is fast asleep on sofa - after having kept us up all night. DP is in the bath. We have no food in the house and neither of us feel like venturing out

superblastofflips - we were planning for 3 year gap too so i know how you feel! i really enjoyed my pregnancy last time round but work and money are making it look like we'll have to wait a while

Bellie · 05/11/2005 18:25

hope things get better soon salve2babe - you will just have to have takeaways delivered!!

geogteach · 05/11/2005 19:00

well we went to Madrid for half term but since then there has been some sickness bug, DD had it last week and DS2 has it now, this is the part of being a parent I hate, being stuck in the house with vomit!

maisiemog · 05/11/2005 22:14

Hi all the sick people, just sit and watch rubbish telly and eat sherbet fountains and stuff like that.
Riebee hi! Hugs to you!!
Cazzy of course Grace is asleep - it's daytime!
Babies, hmmm! I don't care what my work thinks - it's a big old university with great employer benefits, so they can lump baby 2.
We'll see!
Kath, don't think you're getting away without telling the moley running story!!

Superblastofflips · 06/11/2005 09:08

had a gud nite last nite as we went down the road to watch this neighbours in a cul de sac doing the firewworks display... baba was ok with it as she was blinking really hard at every fireworks that went BANG !! and i also got some treacle toffee for us two, we felt sick when we came home!!

geogteach · 06/11/2005 10:19

Masie once the kids master the remote you are stuck with cbeebies, how I wish for the days of crap telly

jbadgirl · 06/11/2005 18:35

Hi guys, uploaded "my little pumpkin" pic on profiles!

Have moorefields eye hospital tomorrow will hopefully get some results tmrw.

maisiemog · 06/11/2005 19:59

He's very cute, and I can see he loves being dressed as a pumpkin.
Since we are posting baby pics, I've put one of Alf in his birthday top (don't like it - not my choice) drumming on the table (don't like it - not my choice). Just so we are all up to date.
Anyone else?

maisiemog · 06/11/2005 20:21

Here's a convenient link to see Alfiebums.
I forgot to write something last time, and I have forgotten again.
What's wrong with me???

maisiemog · 06/11/2005 20:22

Oh yeah! That mark on his face - red felt tip. I couldn't find the crayons...

maisiemog · 06/11/2005 20:22

Yes he has no hair!

biglips · 06/11/2005 20:24

maisie - youre a mum, thats whats wrong with you!!

biglips · 06/11/2005 20:25

i was gonna say that hes got no hair - hes gonna have thick hair like my baba as mine is weird as she got mostly very short and a few of long hair too... ill have a go with my piccys

biglips · 06/11/2005 20:38

i need to wait for DP s to come home and resize the piccy for me as its atm 818kb but need to go down to 100kb and i havent got a clue how to make it smaller - watch this space!!

biglips · 06/11/2005 20:45

did i tell you that mum had gone i feel so much better as the weight had come off my shoulders (at last!)

maisiemog · 06/11/2005 21:12

Yay! All alone in the house. Now you can put on "I will survive" by Gloria Gaynor and dance around in your bra singing along.

cazzybabs · 06/11/2005 21:51

OMG alfie is soooooo cue. my sil-2B has just had a baby - i am so broody. dp doesn't ant any more - am consideing leaving him and finding someone rich who wants 20!

went to the fireworks yesterday. dd1 hated them - screamed, dd2 was ok with them.

sorry about typng am brushing my teeth!

geogteach · 06/11/2005 22:10

Would alfie like some of DS2's hair he is definately going to have to have it cut this week, much as I love his surfer dood locks he can't see any thing and it goes further down his back than DD's hair does and she is 16 months older!

maisiemog · 06/11/2005 23:13

Yeah Alfie isn't really a little dood, more like a baldy baby. Cazzy Alfie says 'pffcch goi goi' (thank you).
We went to the local madmens bonfire and firework/beerdrinking session last night. We live in a strange regeneration area, where there is a new car every year element and a new kid every year element.
We noticed some of our neighbours were burning their old furniture and nailing up catherine wheels with one hand, whilst clutching bottles of beer in the other. Funnily enough quite a few catherine wheels came off and flew down the street.
Alfie was quite interested in the fire and the roman candles, but someone let off a rocket right next to us. It was that really load pfffffffffffffffff followed by a bang that made Alfie jump and then waaaaaiil.
We only stayed for about 10 minutes then decided to take him home.
Later I noticed that there were fireworks flying down the street and hitting people's cars, so I thought we had made the right decision.

hotmama1 · 07/11/2005 13:12

Afternoon girls.

Went to see the fireworks on Saturday, bought earmuffs for dd but she was fine - happily clapping and smiling.

DD has started saying eeieeio as in Old Macdonald had a Farm etc - very cute!

DD has been cruising for what seems ages - when does it progress to walking?

I have got the worst backache in the world, have been referred to an obstetric physiotherapist - combination of measuring large for dates, having dd2 close to dd1 and carrying dd1 - ouch.

Hope everyone is well.

maisiemog · 07/11/2005 23:44

Hotmama, take it easy!! Watch your back! I'm worried about you now!
I still have a dodgy back as well and it's not funny.
That's one of the things that puts me off having another baby quickly, I feel my body is a bit knackered still and I can't even imagine how much more knackered it will be. Not that it's a big deal when you have a gorgeous little baby at the end of it.

Biglips · 08/11/2005 12:33

hello everyone!! hope you'all ok? ive put a piccy of baba on members profile as her bday piccy (osz its late) and im chillin out cos its my bday today (well ill try and chill out!!)

jbadgirl · 08/11/2005 20:59

Had moorfields eye hospital yesterday for ds tests. only took about 45 mins (was expecting them to take up to 3 hours!) Went ok, have to wait for the results though....bummer. We all got to go on the london eye too as havent been on it yet... thought it was pretty amazing seeing london in a very different view.

Ds had his flu and pneumonia jab today, and so did i! My are has felt like a dead arm all day...weird!!

Hope everyone is getting stuff sorted for xmas, only 7 weeks to go!!!!!

Biglips · 10/11/2005 09:10

jbad - at least everything is moving forward and now it wont be too long before you get the results.. one of my friend who took his girlfriend on the London Eye and he said it was breathtaking as you can see the whole of London!!

ive got 1 xmas pressie so far which i started last week... better get cracking on

Have a nice day X

KathH · 11/11/2005 18:19

Biglips - I'm going to be really smug and let you know that I've spent the day wrapping presents, with moley's assistance of course!
