RG - I am currently eating one of Adam's many Easter eggs. Tis ridiculous really, think we may have to call an egg amnesty next year and maybe ask for a small toy or book instead (or is this mean?).

Loopy - sorry to hear you are not sleeping well and have generally had enough. Not long now chuck. I shouted at Adam to shut up the other day and I only have one and am not 9 months preggers! All part of life's rich tapestry or some such bollocks. Sending some virtual tea and buns your way. How is your friend's little boy by the way?

LOM - how goes the potty training now? Adam has become a lazy monkey now that the chocolate rewards have gone! It is hard not to get cross when you know that they know what to do. I said to him the other day "doesn't it feel yukky when you have an accident?" and he said "it feels warm"!! Oh well, all part of life's rich tapestry...

Jet - happy birthday for the other day. Cool card!

Thanks Jet and LOM for your perspectives on marking. It is moderating rather than marking but same difference. 180 scripts at a fiver a script so good rate I think and two days standardisation that I will get paid for too. I am just going to do it and buy Adam something nice for the garden and spend the rest on wine in France (or petrol more likely grrrrrr). Talking of which, I really should go and do some marking.

Who watched the wedding then? I have to admit that despite not being a royalist, I watched all the coverage and loved it. DD dressed up in a bridesmaid dress and insisted on being addressed as princess kate, while William thought 'the other William' looked very handsome. We put up our bouncy castle and I was overcome with the urge to put on my wedding dress and bounce on it, so I did Grin

Greedy - sounds like a splendid plan re. the marking money. I save my tutoring money purely for treats. William is fantastic as weeing in the toilet, but poos, unfortunately, are a different matter!

Loopy - older siblings do have that effect don't they! William knows exactly how much of the chocolate is his.

Tomorrow we are going to Peppa Pig world! Both kids are very excited. I will report back on whether it's a worthwhile day out...

We watched the wedding. It kept making me well up in a bizarre fashion! Felt like I had been possessed by some emotional, royalist, tea-towel collecting type! DH was very grumpy about the whole affair. We went to our nieces' tea-party in the morning then a street party in the afternoon. It was freezing so we went home and glad that we did as there was lots of scandal later - sausage rolls were chucked at cars, husbands were groped by the local strumpet and my lovely neighbour ended up in tears (vodka) and had to be carried home! Love the idea of you jumping around in your wedding dress Jet!

I know what you mean Greedy. When Will turned to Kate at the altar and said 'You look beautiful' I just went. And every time they show that bit on the news it still gets me Blush My other favourite bit was when they driving through horseguards parade and he was holding her hand, they must have thought no-one was looking then.

Your street party sounds a bit 'EastEnders' - I mean that in a good way! The miserable so and sos around here didn't want one (though we live on an A road which is one of the main roads to the hospital so we couldn't have closed it anyway Grin ! We put bunting up at home, William loves it and doesn't want it taken down.

Loving the idea of you bouncing around in your wedding dress Jet!! How funny!! :o

Watched a bit of it before and after my step class at the gym - i knew it would get repeated 1,000 times during the day anyway and i was right. I feel like i've pretty much watched the whole thing anyway! :o

Big mistake to eat some of DDs easter eggs. She is one smart cookied and knew exactly how many she had and how many of what type too!! Oopsie!!! Blush

Any twinges, Loopy? Sending vibes your way - it's my mum and sister's birthday today, so a good day for it!

RG - you'll have to watch dd - could you get a half-price replacement egg? I recently found some of dc's Christmas chocolate, I figured probably best to eat it in case it was off Wink

Thought I would check if any news from Loopy!

Spent the weekend at Mablethorpe in a caravan at a Haven site. Was fun! But not sure if I will be in a rush to repeat (we did share with my friend, her DH and her 3 foster children, all under 2.5!). I like the seaside but prefer Northumberland.
