Oh Loopy! Big hugs and a wedge of cake to go with the happy pills! Christmas is so stressful imo, no wonder things have come to a head for you, especially on top of holding it all together while your girls were poxy. Hope that things are looking up for you soon. I am trying to think of a happy xmas tale for you but this week I have mostly been moaning about having to attend the compulsory staff xmas party! This sounds ungrateful but it really is dire - extremely long quiz in canteen and no drink because I then have to drive home. I'll have to work on the xmas cheer, sorry. Is DH home at xmas?

Jetgirl - I would defo be up for a meet up in principle. Were you thinking with DCs or without? It would take some arranging I reckon but would be nice. Grrrrrrr re SLTs and Ofsted - how tedious for you!

RG - hope your poor DD is well and truely on the mend now, earache is the worst. Adam was a bit off around his birthday time and is still a bit whingy and fractious - I have started shaving half an hour off his bedtime!

Well, looking forward to my mum and dad arriving on Thursday. Finished work today. Study day tomorrow to try and get dreaded essay half-way done. I never used to understand why people would go abroad at xmas but I would love to be on a hot, sunny beach somewhere right now with a vodka tonic and a good book!

Hi everyone! :o Pleased to say that DD is pretty much 100% back to normal. Hoorah!!!

Loopy - Sorry to hear you are back on the happy pills but glad that you are sorting yourself out and that hopefully they will make a difference for you. Xmas, the pox and goodness knows what else has no doubt made life really stressful for you!! It's bad enough with 1 pre-schooler, let alone 4 DC! My cheerful xmas tale is that today DD was sitting at the table eating her (rather late) dinner. I'd put some xmas songs on the ipod dock and we were both singing along together and waving our arms in the air along to the music. She didn't even know most of the songs that were being played but she really enjoyed getting into the xmas spirit with the music. It was wonderful!! :o

Not sure if i've previously posted, but i am deffo up for a meet up at some point in 2012! :o
