want's? WANT'S???
What on earth has happened to me? Blush

He just wants something...

I hate bad grammar, so very disappointed in myself. I shall have to blame tiredness.

Anyhoo - the Boots one is only £1.50 so you can't really go wrong for that I figured.

MyLifeIsFeelingFestive · 03/12/2010 21:25

Would you let him cry for a minute on his own dh? I sometimes have to just walk away, for my sanity.

DesperateHousewife21 · 03/12/2010 21:29

hes sitting between us on the sofa chewing his teether.

DesperateHousewife21 · 03/12/2010 21:45

He's asleep on me. Transfer to cot time.

Dylthan · 03/12/2010 22:00

B's asleep in her play gym and has been since about 6pm so she's not in her sleep suit do I a- try and put her in her crib as she is b- wake her to get her dressed and in her crib c- wait for her to wake herself ( who knows when that will be and I'm knackered)

What will give me the best sleep?

Dylthan · 03/12/2010 22:12

Ah she's just woken up so that answers that. The question is will she sleep tonight after this evenings mammoth sleep?

I'm off to bed now but I doubt it will be to sleep Sad

Night night and plesent sleep to all mummys and lo.

Dp says i hate his family, i dont i just feel they dont listen and go ahead with what they want. Now we're hardly talking its great Sad and i have a thumping headache.

CakeandRoses · 03/12/2010 23:41

has anyone tried anbesol liquid for teething? it's supposed to be the holy grail of pain relief.

i'd heard of it from my awful SIL when F was small but didn't see it anywhere and assumed it was the same as bonjela et al. didn't bother to check with her cos i try to avoid speaking to her if poss - now kicking myself as the online reviews for it kick arse.

going to speak to boots pharmacist about it tomo.

mlic you make me die Grin - i can see that the ella's kitchen thing was burning a hole in your conscious

and want's... sigh. Bad grammar gold that.

CakeandRoses · 03/12/2010 23:42

CakeandRoses · 03/12/2010 23:44

check out my freestyle [grins[

CakeandRoses · 03/12/2010 23:49

anbesol reviews for example

kkfairybrains · 03/12/2010 23:59

Was actually meant to say that earlier re the teething stuff cakes. I use it and find it brill. My mum told me about it and got it for me. I use it VERY rarerly though as you're not supposed to give it to babies anymore. I literally wet the fingertip with it and massage the gum with it. Definately wouldnt use it more than twice a day if your getting it. But it is brilliant and i use it and the teetha sachets.
Oh and the way im feeling now i'll be lucky if i get out of bed in the morning never mind shred it again...i'm in severe pain....ouch!

MyLifeIsFeelingFestive · 04/12/2010 00:30

He's kicking about on the floor here like it's the middle of the fucking afternoon. I'm furious. I go to bed all hopeful after managing to get some food in him and then within 5 minutes of his head hitting the pillow dh is snoring like an elephant. Cue W waking. So, back downstairs, feed, back to bed. Won't go back to sleep will he. I cleared the spare bed to get away from the snoring husband and he won't sleep there either. I gave up an hour and a quarter after going to bed and came down and put the telly on.

I'm fuming. Absolutely livid Angry

Another disturbed night here, too Xmas Sad

Has anybody actually ever come out of the other side of the 4 month sleep regression?

I think I'm gonna get the Shred DVD too. Could certainly do with shrinking a fair bit. Shouldn't I be using up a lot of calories by being up all night? Why doesn't it work like that Xmas Angry

MyLifeIsFeelingFestive · 04/12/2010 07:59

Well I think I should be a size 6 by now.

I'm really having to restrain myself. I want to fucking kill him. Seriously, I just want to run away.

Trudyla · 04/12/2010 08:14

Xmas Sad I'm sorry MLIFF. Hope the day will improve for you.

Chulita · 04/12/2010 09:03

Weeeeell, looks like a lot of our lo's were up last night. S woke from his last nap at 4pm, I fed and 'settled' him at 6pm, he was still awake when we left at 7.15pm. So, DH had I had a good-ish evening (I don't know anyone so just made small talk with random wives of the 'do you have children?' 'no' ilk). Got back home at 10.45pm to find my mum chatting away to S Shock S looked up at me with eyes like dinner plates, so tired yet refusing to shut down. Apparently she'd given him the milk I left and put him back down, he'd chattered for a bit then started to cry, she'd tried resettling him 4 times before giving up and bringing him downstairs. I got him to sleep at half 11 after he'd been up for nearly 8 hours...what's that ridiculous expression 'sleeping like a baby' got to do with reality??

mliff hope your day gets better, just go somewhere you can't hear him and have a drink. He'll only be this little once.

cake for teethers we use Sophie giraffe mostly coupled with that bead ring that mlic linked to. S seems to like both of them

dylthan we used Nelsons with dd and it was like magic fairy dust. Haven't needed it for S yet but still got some in stock.

CakeandRoses · 04/12/2010 09:13

mlic you any better now? When's your holiday start? Please get dh to help you then. You need a break from doing this on your own.

Worst night here, ever. Seriously, A slept worse than she did as a newborn. I'm not sure if its all teething or a combo of that plus jabs after-effects and her cold.

trudyla I asked that re 4 month regression. The response wasn't that positive but I'm praying it was due to the ages of the babies on here rather than than the fact they never outgrow it.

tsc how's things with dp? Talking?

memphis how're you feeling?

spirael you ok? Been quiet (I think) tho thread moves so fast I could be mistaken

Bloody mn. I pressed 'stop' so it shouldn't have posted the first one.

chulita thanks for reminding me about sophie. I put it on A's xmas list but don't think anyone's chosen to get it so I'll buy it today. Will stock up on nelsons today!

I wish this rattle was hard as she keeps it in her mouth for ages.

DesperateHousewife21 · 04/12/2010 10:02

Well our night was shit.
He wouldnt go in his cot at all, he was wide awake really so had to feed him to sleep in our bed in between us so DP and I couldnt even cuddle. (I know thats the least of some peoples probs but we like to cuddle!)

Thought by being in our bed and going to sleep, finally, at 11 he would sleep longer. He woke at 2, 4, 6, 7:45 when I brought him in the front room and gave him to DP and then went back to bed for an hour and a half.

It'll only get better...
