total pants eddas Angry

bramshott - you got a fab social life Wink

Sexonlegs · 16/02/2011 17:52

Eddas, I saw that on FB re the cm issue. Bloody cheek of it.

Hope all ok with you lovely lot.

All ok here just! The boiler is fitted and working liking a dream. Dad is recovering from his op. B has to have a filling :( I am shocked! I had my first and only filling in my mid 30's! I had fluoride treatment as a child, and I am sure that made all the difference.

oooggs · 16/02/2011 17:56

sol - good about your Dad and boiler Smile poor B I can't remember how old I was.

having a hard time at the moment Sad

CaptainDippy · 16/02/2011 20:04

Evening ladies Wink Brew and Wine - whatever you fancy Wink

If it makes you feel any better, I've never had any dental work SOL; and my poor DD1 had to have seven fillings last time we went to the Dentist Shock Only in her milk teeth to be fair (no drilling etc); but still ....

feeling angry all the time - everything is fine with dcs, dh, house etc but I am so cross. Lots of little things happening (like ds1 still bed wetting at 7) and all I do is shout, alot Sad. I went to see the nurse today for an asthma check, and blurted it out Shock.

I am not depressed (been there before) or sad just angry and cross. I am loosing my temper several times in a day and I don't know why.

Nurse has referred me for councilling, just to talk to someone qualified to listen.

In a pickle really as nothing is 'going wrong' so to speak.

I am not even dreading half term Wink

ScarletBandit · 16/02/2011 23:38

Oooggs, sorry to hear things are a bit tough just now.
As you know I take my happy pills, but I just wanted to say that one of my symptoms was being angry all the time. It made me feel incredibly guilty because I felt like I spent my time constantly shouting at the dc's.
I am not saying that you have depression like me but just thought I would mention how I had been.

Sol, glad that your dad is ok and that the boiler is sorted.

Going to bed now as I need to be up at 6am for work tomorrow, night all xx

Sexonlegs · 17/02/2011 08:01

Morning all.

Oooggs, really sorry you are going through a down period just now :( Having counselling will be a good opportunity to let rip so to speak. I may follow you. With everything that has happened of late, I feel like I am on the edge. I put on a front though so no-one knows unless I tell them.

B is unmanageable at the moment too which isn't helping matters. It is like living with a schizophrenic (sp?)

Hey ho.

Dippy, wow 7 fillings :( Your poor dd1. I feel like I have let B down, but what can I do?? She brushes her teeth twice a day with a vibrating brush and barely eats sweets. Seems no-one is safe!!

Better get on; no doubt I will have a battle with B again.

Love to all.

CaptainDippy · 17/02/2011 09:05

Don't feel bad or guilty about how you are feeling - you have an awful lot to manage and deal with an a day-to-day basis. I need to go out in a sec so need to go, but want you to know we care about you and you are welcome to come and vent any time Smile If it helps (even with a small issue), my DD1 will be 7 next week & still wears nappy pants at night - and they are full to brim in the morning. You are not alone Wink Brew xx

thanks ladies - at least I can admit it now and I am trying really hard not to shout which today wasn't too difficult as I only had ds3 Wink

I kind of wish I felt down, depressed or even sad about something, but I don't - just cross and angry and I don't know why as I have a lot to be thankful for and everything is just tickety at the moment.

And compared to some of you this is very very trivial and I should thank my lucky stars really

Sexonlegs · 18/02/2011 07:26

Morning all.

Just checking in on Oooggs :)

Do you think you are perhaps bored? That isn't meant to be rude; just I know if I am bored with a certain aspect of my life I feel quite angry and resentful.

Greek Day at school today! Have to get B dressed up in a toga-type get-up! Wish me luck :)

Doobydoo · 18/02/2011 08:18

Quicky as M needs bath as he has appt re Gluten this morning.OOOGGS sometimes it dosen't have to anything classed a s major to make people feel like that. Also your dh is away alot and you have lots to do!Sometimes I feel almost resentful and would like to rediscover myself...I vaguely remember being a person!
SOL...Lots of love to you and your dad am pleased op went well and recovery is going well too.For Shock value ds1 had 7 or 8 teeth REMOVED when he was 5...so don't worry re fillings.
Also Dippy how fab no fillings.
Eddas child care sounds like utter night mare.
Bramshott I would rather have been at home like you staying in is the new going out doncha knowGrin
SB Hope you and yours are all well.
Better go now[wasn't that quick]
Oh, we are moving on 5th March, just for a changeHmm.Can't be bothered reallyGrin

Doobydoo · 18/02/2011 09:05

When I say resentful it is when I am knackered etc..I wouldn't be without emSmilebut it is knackering this mum business. They move the goal posts all the time[shildren]
DS1 didn't sleep throught he night by himself till he was 4 and a half and I used to cry[whilst hunched commando style by bedroom door]trying to leave room without him waking[eek]
Have you been to see the Paediatric team that specialises in bed wetting? There are mattresses that alarm to wake child and parent up...don't know how effective they are.
M is still in nappies and just dosen't seem bothered.Trying to get him into big boy bed now as he is too big for cot really.
xx

StealthPolarBear · 19/02/2011 12:59

Hi everyone,
SOL, sorry to hear about B's tooth. I have a mouthful of metal.
Glad your dad's op went well, and your boiler is working.
(((oooggs))). Don't know what to say.
Lol at pink stetson dooby :)
:o at another boy pesha! What do your DC's think? Are you feeling any better yet?
Hi Dippy, SB and Eddas.
Hope I haven't missed anyone - sorry.

Can't believe we are in the run up to the 4th birthdays (will E&J be first of the April-ers who are still around?)
this year I will get T's card on CBeebies, I think next year he'll be a bit old :o

ScarletBandit · 21/02/2011 15:25

Hello ladies.

Spb, think ffion is the day before E and J, march 28th. Is that right or did they arrive the day before? My memory is rubbish!

Oooggs, how are you getting on? Have been thinking about you especially as its half term this week x

Sol, how was the Greek day? Hope b is ok so far, school holidays can be very trying, and made worse if the dc's are pushing the boundaries.

I am going up to Scotland next Monday. My aunt is very poorly and won't be here for much longer. Part of me doesn't want to go and see her looking so unwell, but I don't want to regret not going when it is too late :-(

I quite like the school holidays for the fact that I don't have to rush out of bed at the crack of dawn every day, but find it tough to constantly entertain the dc's and be referee during the squabbling!

Eddas, did you sort out child care for this week? What your child minder did was awful, hope you have managed to make other arrangements.

Right, off now, see you all soon x

oooggs · 21/02/2011 19:19

thank you girls have had a good day and haven't shouted at all Shock drove up to a village near Exeter to meet a mumsnetter who has 5 lovely children 8,6,4,4 & 2 so similar aged to mine. It was fab.

DH on days which is a way is easier as have help from 4.20pm onwards when I am flagging. Trying to keep busy and have things organised so non or this "I'm bored!!!"

Yes Ffion is 28th March (her beautiful mummy had her early, she was supposed to be my birth buddy Wink but dippy did a wonderful job spreading our news Smile) Can't believe they are all going to be 4 Shock and starting school ShockShock well the non Welsh ones anyway Wink

SB - sorry about your aunt

Katy - remind us the day before to look out for T's master piece card Wink

sol - I am sorry the B is difficult too. Her and James would be a real pair Grin

dippy - wise words - thank you

CaptainDippy · 21/02/2011 22:53

WinkSmile

Hope all goes ok in Scotland SB - a brave thing you are doing, and it will be a very special time; even if it is a tough time xx

Bramshott · 22/02/2011 10:13

O is 4 on 27 March (due to being in an undignified hurry 4 years ago Grin) so I think she's the first of the still around April babies! The only ones before that were WestCountryLass who had I think Leo?? And KneeHighinNappies had Z and L on the 27th too. For some reason I can remember all the April babies born in March, but not many of the later ones - hmm, there must be some reason for that, like something making me ultra-tired around about early April 2007Grin!

N has gone to a holiday club at the sports centre today (while O is at the childminders as she normally is on Tues). She was very keen to go, despite not knowing anyone, but I was so relieved to see that someone else from her class was also there!

Right - off to achieve 3 days work between now and 3pm . . .

StealthPolarBear · 22/02/2011 17:33

So sorry SB :( Hope you have a good trip - as good as it can be
