EYM: Yep, dd born @ 36 weeks and one day. DW had high (labile) BP from around week 31, in and out of hossie as BP would settle so she'd be discharged, but then shoot up late in the evening... they thought all was essentially fine till about 7 days before the c-s when it was something like 'that's not a very good scan outcome, she's coming out next week' type of thing. The sonographer who scanned her around 10 days - 2 weeks before saw nothing out of the ordinary so either dd's weight / stats / size went south VERY quickly or the sonographer was crap... that was my point about making 100% sure her care is top notch as I feel it was caught too late IYSWIM...

Hope all this is essentially irrelevant to her and that both your sis and your new nephew / niece do fine !!!

welshie good luck hunny im sure you will be fine.

just recived a letter to make an appoinaent to see consultant about william innocent heart murmur, apparently i have to ring up make appoinment, its all different these days.

Hubs i see now, only my sis sint having any high BP or anything else. We ll just have to wait and see i did tell her if she wanted me there with her she only had to ask.

My hubby thought it might be nice idea she comes stays with us for few days, maybe been around william will make her feel better.

Anyway obviously shes not going to leave her fiance but it wa a nice thought from my hubby.

Without any peculiarities wrt bp / proteinuria / sugar levels, and normal bloods and scans I don't think the IUGR is really relevant then, which is good news !
