UGH!

UrsulaUndress · 12/11/2010 12:07

I love the family of evil geniuses!

The only reason I know we have 13 stairs is because of ds2! And I agree, the older sibling is brilliant. Takes all the work out of early years education ime! It also means ds2 can sing a verse of Waving Flag and various other songs that aren't on the Sesame Street numbers and letters cds though... and some of them are rather choice Hmm and I suppose Grin

I have such crap hair it's been in the same style since I was about 5, I envy you changing all the time silks, blonde for Christmas could be fun! Maybe I'll save up and get some highlights, though they dry me out and make me look like a throwback to the early 90s. I want sexy Cleopatra hair I think. I took ds2 to the barber for his first haircut!! On a whim, really, he has lovely dark blond curls and I suppose they did have a tendency to dreadlock at the back, anyway they are choppped off, not a buzzcut or anything, still quite long(ish) but he does look tidier and it's nice to see his eyes. Probably nice for him to be able to see the world, too.

star good luck with the voluntary boot today.

Silkstalkings · 12/11/2010 18:29

LOL I don't look good blonde, am too rosy really. See my sister's wedding photos for proof LOL - I was the bridesmaid with the peroxide undercut and tattoo.

Yay Pert, I am also known as AlabamaWhorley.

I got a 4th client today! My utterly half-arsed mailshot (of about 6 postcards LOL) has come up trumps and I have another storyteller coming on Monday evening to bring me a little home work. Shove that up your arse MrSilky!

blueberryboybait · 12/11/2010 18:35

All ok here. S cute as ever. DP working hard as always. got six weeks to go to due date, so on last leg. Sorry to keep so brief but this copy paste malarkey is bloody slow!

No apologies necessary Queen, tis lovely to see you here :) Good luck for the last 6 weeks - it seems to have flown by Shock although probably not to you Grin Are you getting excited?

bbbb sympathetic eww at worms in poo. My ex-flatmate's son had them and found it very traumatic, but he was 7 so probably feeling the school shame pressure.

blueberryboybait · 13/11/2010 07:56

No flaming way - up since 6 baking and so tired I have managed to wreck 2 batches of brownies and have failed to rescue them!

OP posts:
HippyHippopotamus · 13/11/2010 08:10

let me know if you need a good brownie recipe WinkGrin

UrsulaUndress · 13/11/2010 08:48

I made brownies for the first time ever during the week, I used Nigella's recipe from Dom God but they turned out just like chunks of chocolate cake, I suppose they were overcooked, though they only had less than 25 mins.

enyahadenough · 13/11/2010 09:01

i'm here, been up since 6 too sigh.. girls are in a manic mood and so not up for it [sigh]..

brownies drool... hip i'd like a brownie recipe please Grin

BibiBelle · 13/11/2010 10:30

bloody freezing here [meep]

trying to catch up. Thanks for all kind words (as usual) my head is still mince with it all so I'm trying not to think about it [buries head in sand]

Merlion · 13/11/2010 10:33

Hi Queenie lovely to hear from you - glad you're doing well and only 6 weeks to go Shock

Ursula sorry if I'm jumping the gun but do we need to send you addresses for Secret Santa?

Enya are you feeling any better?

I think I spoke too soon about feeling better last two days not been great but think compounded by severe lack of sleep on Thursday night as couldn't get cat in, dh rolled in at 2am and DS woke up at 5.30am. I am getting terrible headaches.

BibiBelle · 13/11/2010 10:48

Merlion - be careful, I had pregnant migraines and they're horrible. Rest up and plenty of liquids

aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 13/11/2010 11:04

Yes, I had dreadful first trimester headaches with DS and they sucked. Hopefully DH can take over active parenting duties today and let you get lots of rest.

The sun is shining here so I'm getting my clean on. DH has taken DS to soft play while I go vacuum cleaner crazy. Just taking a breather before mopping begins! Have also cleaned our disgusting fridge
