is it just me that doesn't fucking care where the world cup is held? only that the gov have spent approx £15M on a fecking bid AngryShockAngry Needless to say the campaign wasn't shown up here Hmm Am not a fan of football/footballers frankly and the only reason I'm disappointed is that DH won't get called in for mutual aid and earn some money!

on that chilly note we're off to get dressed to go to bed - doesn't happen very often Grin

crisp - please do, my cousin was VERY lucky to get her delivery today - was told had she not phoned it in she would have had to wait over a week [eek]

Ursula - don't know what to say other than hugs. I've just been online reserving heaters to collect at Argos tomorrow

Shock bloody hell bibi poor you lot! So you've all been headachey & sick, you poor poor things & now I suppose you can't use the heat until you get the seal thing on? What a horrible thing to happen.

Hope the rest of you are all right, CC glad to hear your dh's hearing went well.

We are well & truly snowed in & have been for nearly a week. School closed, no childminder, etc. Between economic nosedive / spontaneous combustion & grinding to a halt in snow, I don't really know where it can go from here.

silky, we've all been sitting in the living room under a king sized duvet whilst the other windows have been open. The gas bloke is still here upstairs with his measuring thingy. Gas has to be turned off. Seal needs to be ordered.

never mind, we're not dead Hmm

Shit! So you've had all the windows open? Are you all sharing a room to air the rest of the house?

Report
HippyHippopotamus · 02/12/2010 18:54

shit bibi, that's awful
i know nothing about gas poisoning but you do need to talk to someone about what to do

Report
CrispyTheCrisp · 02/12/2010 18:30

Oh crikey bibi, I am not surprised though, given the symptoms Sad. Do you have NHS Direct in Scotland? I would DEF give them a call to see if there is anything you need to do now or even in a week or so as follow up. Just glad you are all ok {{Hugs}}

Your GP is an arse! Children with potential carbpon monoxide poisoning are urgent emergency cases! now I rarely swear but can I phone him and call him a twat?

GP won't do anything as they're on emergency labs at the local hospitals - the girls have improved considerably and unless they get worse I think we're out of the woods. Apart from my fecking headache Hmm

am kicking myself for not having a sensor esp when the fecking boiler has always been such a problem. It's a contained boiler so shouldn't leak but apparently that means nothing with ours Hmm

Oh Lordy Bibi - have they been seen by the doc? If not please get them seen - it can be very very nasty and affect oxygen levels.
