aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 20/11/2010 17:32

I feel like crying, thanks for asking.

blueberryboybait · 20/11/2010 17:33

Oh no - sorry. Call in the reinforcements to help with bedtime then take yourself off to bed too.

Evening.

Pert Nice one! Another August baby, non?

We've been to Halfords and bought a bike for the big 2 as they are almost the same height(DD hates it because it's a boyish one - why are there no unisex bikes?Confused) Bless them my kids are so short, it's only a 16" one. DS1 amazed us by pedalling round the shop with stabilisers - he's hardly ever been on a bike, he just assumed it would come naturally and so it did, much like his swimmingShock. He is so like my dad, totally from planet Krypton.

DH & I managed to grab a coffee out in Romsey with a sleeping K, left big 2 in charge Crippled Nana in charge of the big 2Blush.

Crispy Yes please to your printer, let me know nearer the time if it's up for grabs and we'll arrange a petite meet.

BibiBelle · 20/11/2010 18:50

lovely news Pert Smile

glad DD1 enjoying her day Crisp

I too am loving the 'dinner just wasn't doing it for me' from TS Grin it was pizza here tonight heated up by DH as I was on shift today (zzzzzzzzzzzz)

One cake delivered after work, girls and I watching Strictly then once they're in bed I've a cheesecake to make and 100 cakes for a christening in the morning. Remind me why I thought this was good ideaHmm

Star/Hots - love fest for Faith here too but I liked her in Tru Calling as well Blush I've all the box sets too lol

Hots - pants about the car - sometimes feels like it's never ending doesn't it Sad

BibiBelle · 20/11/2010 19:17

Star - if you're not doped off your scone on painkillers could you pop over to the secret place please - I'd love your opinion Blush

aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 20/11/2010 20:02

Have done so Bibi.

TwilightSurfer · 20/11/2010 20:10

GrinYAY! PERT!!! Congratulations!!!!!Grin

Star I'm with you in that gloomy place today. I'm trying to keep my head above water. I think it's totally the weather and less light in day.

DD2 is still hacking. More eucalyptus (i am shocked my spell check didn't flag that) in bath and on feet. She's finally producing funky colored (yellow/green) mucus WHICH TO ME means the cold crap is finally trying to EXIT. I could be wrong and it means things are getting worse.Hmm She's still lively without fever so I'll take that as good sign.

Back at the car shopping again today. We might have one of these in BLACK come Monday. I've run the numbers again and if the dealership plays ball nice then DH will get rid of his current car and drive this home for his birthday a week early. We figure it will last for a long while and be good for DD1 to take as her first vehicle.Shock Yes, I said DD1's first vehicle. She gets her permit in 9 years.ShockShockShock How's that for future planning.Wink

TwilightSurfer · 20/11/2010 20:15

Bibi...sorry, got nosey! Grin

BibiBelle · 20/11/2010 20:22

Lordy TS - that's some motor!! Over here that would cost a fecking fortune in petrol though! I can't believe how early your DD will get her permit - mine aren't getting to drive till they're 40!!

Thanks Star Smile and not to worry TS, not private from you lot!

aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 20/11/2010 20:26

Aw, give R a cuddle from me TS, it's miserable being ill. Tis why I'm so gloomy today; in the last few months I've had a sinus infection, a chest infection (which is two more sets of antibiotics than I usually need in a year), the never ending cough, back problems and exhaustion. I'm sick of being sick, it's beyond tedious. Sticking DS in front of the telly is not how I like to parent, but there's not much else I can do when I can't stand up straight, can't sit down and can't get up from a prone position without serious thought.

And have a hug yourself cos it's hard work dealing with sicky toddlers and grumpy threadmates x

Had lovely bath and bedtime with DS, came downstairs to watch XFactor chill - 5 mins in, the thunder of feet in the corridor above Hmm DS is standing at the stairgate looking like Oliver Twist, asking to get in my bed. Bless. He is snuggled up there now. I hope he stays (without too much kicking), it will be nice to have the company.

CrispyTheCrisp · 20/11/2010 20:33

Evening Smile. Fab party, DD1 was in her element once her initial shyness (with her friends Hmm) passed. Just gone to bed Shock

pert hurrah, lovely news Smile and am PMSL at star's - 'aha, duffers' Grin. What did she say? LOL

Great car TS, but as bibi says, over here you would physically weep at the petrol pump every time you went to fill it up!

silks If DH sorts our new one this week so it works then I can pass it to MIL on Sunday as we are seeing them at BIL's . She can then bring it down to the NF with her (they live in B urley) and you could collect? Otherwise i can keep hold and we can try and sort a mini meet (although pre-xmas may now prove tricky), so only works if no hurry

star big hugs lovely. Hope you manage to get some proper rest and feel rejuvenated in teh morning Smile

Am hoping enya is having a lovely time and being spoilt rotten, and TheHippsters negotiating family nuances with minimal stress Grin

CrispyTheCrisp · 20/11/2010 20:34

Oh yes star, stolen nighttime cuddles are the BEST Smile

BibiBelle · 20/11/2010 20:57

BibiBelle · 20/11/2010 21:03
