The sodding GP never phoned. I stayed in the house, didn't even have my shower as DH was sleeping and was worried I would miss my call. I phoned the surgery to be told that the GP had phoned at 11.15 and there was no answer I have a phone that tells you if there is a missed call and we have both a 1571 and actual answering machine what a waste of a fecking day and I'm now waiting till Wed to see her in person at an appt In the meantime my hip x-rays finally arrived in the post today from the private hosp! I've had a look but I can't make heads nor tails of what he told me to try to tell DH

been at shop this afternoon building up IKEA furniture and to give us our dues we managed!! More stock arrived today but to the house and not the sodding shop so I won't get it down there till Mon at the earliest now!

Oops - hope the bakefest went well. I'm on shift from tomorrow morning so taking in all my fav books to try to sort out the Christmas menu. Will of course be needing in put from you lot before it's finalised but better get my finger out [meep]

bibi those are the same as ours, and although you could put the steps on teh other side you would need to drill a couple of new holes and the predrilled holes would show. Will go have a look now to see if i can find any more proper left hand ones

DD2's wardrobe should be arriving Sat morning, which will be great, but we have to move a number of pieces of furniture round the house to accommodate it. I am not looking forward to relocating all the stuff

DH was off work yesterday with extreme tiredness and massive headache. I have probably got the same.
