Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
HippyHippopotamus · 17/11/2010 12:05

sorry merlion

oooh i really fancy a nice glass of water Smile

Merlion · 17/11/2010 12:37

I am having a glass of perrier with lots of ice and lemon and DH is having a vodka and orange Envy

HippyHippopotamus · 17/11/2010 12:49

oooh, i'd much prefer the perrier

UrsulaUndress · 17/11/2010 13:55

Mmmmm Perrier ice & lemon.

Hope ye are all well. Shattered here today, everyone, dunno why.

We are all going shopping for tea bags to welcome the IMF tomorrow. We are officially screwed. No, sorry, officially we are having some currency problems. It's just actually that we are screwed. Is hard to think about ordinary things atm.

TwilightSurfer · 17/11/2010 14:09

I just ate a piece of chocolate pudding pie for breakfast.ShockBlush DD2 home with me but only because her cough sounds bad. She pooped a moment ago when I was talking on the phone. I decided to finish the call then finish my pie then type this entry before correcting the situation. Wink

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/11/2010 17:43

Evening Smile

VILE weather here today Hmm. Hipster i could have done with one of your coffees earlier - minus one sugar and the chocolate as i am sweet enough already Wink

Been swimming and friends for lunch and am now home curled up infront of the fire with the curtains firmly closed.

ursula tis one whole heap of mess Sad

TwilightSurfer · 17/11/2010 17:48

just pondering...
what would it feel like to have a prince ask me to be his princess????Hmm i just can't imagine how one would process the idea of being the future Queen of England.Hmm I miss Lady Di.

as you were.

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/11/2010 17:53

She has had 8 years LOL.

I'm sure MrSurfer could be persuaded into role playing a prince with you as princess WinkGrin

HippyHippopotamus · 17/11/2010 18:06

do you think people really do role playing? with a straight face?!

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/11/2010 18:17

I reckon he might even appreciate the tiara Grin

HippyHippopotamus · 17/11/2010 18:21

no offense meant TS but

UrsulaUndress · 17/11/2010 18:21

Ohhhh is that what the tiara shopping was for? Yes in fairness I don't think it was much like kissing a frog and having to revise all your pond decor plans because he suddenly reveals royal blood Grin. My impression from here is that la Middleton is quite popular. Him too.

Has been verging on the wintry today but one hour of heating has made the house unbearably hot Confused. I am ready for everyone to be in bed and it's not even half six.

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/11/2010 18:30

LOL ursula - I have poured a G&T and am shelling and eating almonds & brazil nuts in front of the fire. I think my brain has decided it is Xmas with the freezing weather Grin

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/11/2010 18:33

Or maybe i am just a slattern/glutton Blush

RedLentil · 17/11/2010 19:25

Dh has just dropped a glass jar on my new induction hob and chipped it.

The children all know how to swear now. Sad
I could cry.

FjorgynAndHotWater · 17/11/2010 21:35

Oh red what a fucker for your beautiful new kitchen Sad. Is it a big chip? Can you disguise it with a decorative saucepan or summat?

RedLentil · 17/11/2010 22:12

No repair. Just a chunk out of the left side at the front. Sad

Sorry to hear about your car too - we've had terrible luck with head gaskets in the past.
God, I'm cheerful. Confused

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/11/2010 22:18

Oh no Red Sad, you have worked so hard to make it all lovely.
I do have to say i used to get terribly upset by things like that happening, but DH is SO infuriatingly unfazed by it that i have become less so now. Tis quite liberating actually - I managed to drive into a post in Sainsbo's the other week and now I just look at the car thinking 'tis only metal'.

RedLentil · 17/11/2010 22:38

I get irrationally upset by things being broken. I just know that it will have to stay chipped on account of there being no money and it's just jumping out at me when I look at the lovely kitchen now.

I will get over it. And I've bought some 'sugru' to see if that will disguise it. It's a kind of putty for mending things I've kept hearing about lately.

If dh wasn't allergic to the word 'sorry' I wouldn't be so upset I think. I know it was an accident, but it wouldn't hurt to express a bit of regret. There, I'm being a nutter I think. He's a darling really.

BibiBelle · 17/11/2010 22:41

oh no Red Sad could you just see it as the kitchen being christened/lived in a little

evening all else! Am shattered having spent a considerable time in IKEA today, not aided by the fact we were chucked out just at the tills due to a fire alarm Hmm

feet are like blocks of ice so heading to bed.

Merlion - GP phoning me tomorrow to talk it all over Blush as am dimwit BlushBlushBlush

BibiBelle · 17/11/2010 22:42

you're not being a nutter at all

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/11/2010 22:42

Oh red are you married to my DH? Confused. MrCrisp absolutely, cannot, ever say sorry Angry. Drives me senseless and DD1 seems to be the same Hmm. I put it down to his Asparagus tendencies, but perhaps it is not.......

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/11/2010 22:43

Night MrsT bibi Wink

blueberryboybait · 17/11/2010 22:46

Red I have the same irrational upset over things being broken. When DH scratched my new black fridge It was all I could see everytime I walked into the kitchen, his response? It's only a fridge nad it still works - He got a slap!

I am off to bed, DD2 is awake because of a cough and watching 2 and a half men with DH. I am all caked out I have made 4 dozen cupcakes - 2 dozen pudsey ones, one batch of chocolate ones with vanilla buttercream and smartie spots, ones with a raspberry in the middle and white chic icing and lastly vanilla cake with fresh strawberry icing.

DD2 now trying to eat the iPad and she puked on DHso I had better go before he disolves!
