Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
BibiBelle · 29/10/2010 22:00

I have no Internet fecking TT fans apparently crashed BT & I can't be arsed on my iPhone :-(

ScreamingTerror · 29/10/2010 22:07

Everything I clean up DD2 messes up. She's redestroyed the house this evening and we've only been home 2 hours. Trying to make cookies, upload photos from today, eat a snack and ignore DD1's questions about when her friend's party starts....FFS AT 6 NOW GO!!!

Haven't heard from FIL. Phoned him yesterday to discuss dinner and he never returned the call. DH is swamped but better not be late because it's too cold to take DD2 to the party DD1 is going to.

I'm tired and in my nutzo state I purchased a new digital camera. Mine is 7 years old and pisses me off. I did not need to spend the money. I thought getting the same brand would save me the cost of new memory cards. WELL NO! My memory card is out of date!!

GRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it Monday yet?

ScreamingTerror · 29/10/2010 22:08

Red I'm so thrilled for you. Same goes for Bibi and Crisps. I want to do something to make money.

BibiBelle · 29/10/2010 22:28

Mon, nooooooooooo, I'll be back at work :-(

Red have sent you a text

TS am not making money yet

had shitey meeting at Cafe tonight which made me a tad sad but time to let go. I was never very good at that lol

Halloween orders all done, now onto Christmas lol

BibiBelle · 29/10/2010 22:30

Mer did anything work when you were preg with ds? Lucozade & beans on toast was all I could manage. Someone told me actimel (porobiotic yogurt drinks) help? Hope it passes soon darling x

BibiBelle · 29/10/2010 22:31

Welcome home Ursula :-)

HippyHippopotamus · 29/10/2010 23:30

i'm a little embarrassed to admit it and you'll probably all hate me but.... i've started my christmas shopping Blush

HippyHippopotamus · 29/10/2010 23:37

how did it get to be 11.30 already? P and T both been asleep for hours so i'd better disappear too

hope to see you late morning!

Merlion · 30/10/2010 05:51

Bibi hope internet restored. I didn't get ms with ds at all so have no idea what will or won't help. He had salmon for his dinner last night and I had to leave him to it as the smell of it just made me heave.

Hippy I really must start. MIL comes 3 weeks on Wednesday Shock (for Christmas)- the day after my 12 week scan so all being well planning on waiting till she gets here to tell her and will tell my parents whilst she's on the plane.

CrispyTheCorpse · 30/10/2010 08:32

Morning all Smile

Back home again and friend is here to stay with her 5 month old. I am wistfully just looking at a gurgling baby lying on the floor and staying in the same place. Ever so much easier when they do that. But i haven't said that to my friend Wink

red so glad the business is onward and upward and you are all official Smile. Well done for carrying on with it all during the house upheaval - you are truly a wonderwoman Smile. Can you do a whizzy change thing in a phonebox though? Grin

Blueberry when are you going to W'birt? Not booked but haven't been since 2006 so would be nice to go again

Merlion how long is MIL staying? Until actual Xmas? . Oh, and please don't get too het up over the car - they are only bits of metal and little dints add character IMO

TS Hope you manage your family meet up meal and Perty's guests also appeared

UrsulaUndressUp · 30/10/2010 08:49

Morning. I have run out of coffee so am drinking microwaved stuff from a pot that was standing around from yesterday

Beebs hope you got your internet back.

Leggy/Redser excellent news on you existing from legal pov! And on domain name too, strength to strength for you.

Merls you poor thing :( I remember when pregnant with ds1 the smell of my leather jacket used to make me feel nauseous, can't imagine salmon last night was much fun. I suppose it is a horrible yet short-lived feature of preg - isn't it meant to last a few weeks only? Not much comfort when your tummy is aching from retching, I know. Could the ms now but not with ds mean that this baby is a girl? I suppose a thousand people could disprove that.

Hipster - stop talking about Christmas fgs. I haven't even carved my pumpkin yet.

LOL at Take That - Crisps did you get tickets in the end? You can stay with me.

FjorgynAndHotWater · 30/10/2010 08:55

Morning crispy Smile Hope your teeny visitor doesn't discover the power of the crawl while visiting you... Grin

Sorry you are feeling so ropey merlion and hope it passes soon. Good luck with your shopping, I haven't started either

DD stayed over at MIL's last night, the house is very quiet without her. DS was a bit late to bed, and got up 5 minutes after DH had come downstairs Hmm but he knocked him out persuaded him back to sleep and it was worth the 9pm final sleep time cos he didn't come in to us until 8am ShockGrin

He's currently finishing off his second bowl of beans and toast...

UrsulaUndressUp · 30/10/2010 08:58

Hello Fjo Grin

FjorgynAndHotWater · 30/10/2010 08:58

Oooh Ursula you have reminded me we have two pumpkins to carve. I'm not showing off, one is quite small Grin Sometimes I hanker after the simpler turnip lanterns of my youth but bloody hell they were hard to scoop out...

UrsulaUndressUp · 30/10/2010 09:04

I don't find pumpkins especially easy! And I suppose I will have to make soup with all the gubbins that comes out, or else chuck it. No-one likes it, what a waste!

FjorgynAndHotWater · 30/10/2010 09:12

Will you be fashioning a delightful necklace from all the seeds too? I have an eating pumpkin (small) and a carving pumpkin (bigger) but am not sure whether the carving one is edible. Surely they wouldn't grow ones you can't eat...Confused

HippyHippopotamus · 30/10/2010 10:12

crisp thought you were going to say you looked at 5mth old baby and got broody Grin

merlion are you actually being sick or just feeling it? i found my ms was better if i'd eaten. didn't want to eat because i felt sick but it did see to help. that and packets and packets of ginger nut biscuits. can you get them there? if not, i'm happy to post some

sorry ursula, happy pumpkin carving Smile
in my defence, i'm usually a christmas eve shopper but thought i'd try a different method this year!

fjorytyurr you've got a non-edible pumpkin? well i live and learn [hgrin]

FjorgynAndHotWater · 30/10/2010 10:15

Ooh clever double posting there Hippy Grin

UrsulaUndressUp · 30/10/2010 10:16

Ohhhh - I thought all pumpkins were edible, perhaps that's where I've been going wrong. We need ST to tell us how to make pumpkin pie I suppose. Yes I might string the beads together, perhaps interspersing them with shells I've collected from the beach. OR I might arrange them in piles on some scavenged driftwood, it would be such an unusual amuse-bouche for Halloween night. I am pleased to find you engaging in Halloween, hotsy, as My Research indicated that a lot of English people were faux-snooty about it & I have been going to Great Lengths to talk about its Celtic origins & traditions, and establish that it wasn't invented by America. (No offence ST!)

UrsulaUndressUp · 30/10/2010 10:17

Hipster would you be happy to post ginger biscuits? It's just that you weren't quite clear in your post.

FjorgynAndHotWater · 30/10/2010 10:21

I guess some are grown for flavour and some for size. Won't do any harm to eat the bigger one but maybe it'll be less tasty / more stringy.

We do like Halloween and have even bought a few sweets in case the trick or treaters come a-knocking. Usually we just hide with the lights off Blush

Loving your pumpkin seeds amuse-bouche ursula Grin

HippyHippopotamus · 30/10/2010 10:33

ooh make sure you take a photo of your driftwood arrangment [hwink]

what are you going on about me not being clear? i'm offering to post merlion biscuits. not with you. don't get it. not had much sleep. need coffee. i'm sure you're being either very funny or very helpful but i'm not sure which [hconfused]

argh! i've forgotten to buy sweets for the scavengers!! i think i'm going to do boybait's idea of the head with brains [hgrin] There's no escaping them here, we have hundreds! doesn't help that i know most of them from the knitting lessons i did!

HippyHippopotamus · 30/10/2010 10:34

oh and fjorouaghklj, i didn't cross post! you're confusing me too [hconfused]

enyahadenough · 30/10/2010 10:35
