ScreamingTerror · 29/10/2010 03:17

Bloodberrybatbait · 29/10/2010 08:12

OH Fhijokijyhpkk - how could you? I am mortally wounded. [hwink] [hgrin] no worries it's only brownie comp [[hshock], I think I might have to use the other option for the horrid older kids!

HippyHippopotamus · 29/10/2010 08:28

morning all

i've finished the funky cubes for the son of the mum who's an artist. her friend (who is an ex-colleague of my sister so i've never met any of them) set me a really hard challenge. she left fabric choices etc up to me (despite me emailing her photos of pretty much everything i've got). i forced her to choose one and asked for a key word. she chose a flowery girlie one and the word 'eclectic'. and you know what, i absolutely love them Grin

and yes bibi, photos on my fb page v soon!

albs did you get my text the other day? your skirts are ready for collection Smile

HippyHippopotamus · 29/10/2010 08:29

morning batbait

but its not only a brownie competition, its a KnB brownie competition!!

Bloodberrybatbait · 29/10/2010 08:40

Morning Hippy - blocks sound amazing. I know they are not just brownies they are quite possibly the most sublime tasting things on the planet.

HippyHippopotamus · 29/10/2010 08:53

how did my offering compare? (please be kind, i'm still pretty hormonal!!)

Bloodberrybatbait · 29/10/2010 09:15

We let's put it this way, they didn't make Paddington!!

FjorgynAndHotWater · 29/10/2010 09:16

Soz bbbb I had already voted when your cheating call for votes came on here Wink Yours does sound good but a chocolate covered sprout has to be the evillest idea I have ever heard Grin

HippyHippopotamus · 29/10/2010 09:25

that doesn't mean much..you're a bf mum so the chance of it remaining uneaten for too long was remote!!

honestly, did it taste the same as when you make them? if not, how can i improve them? DH reckons they've got better with every batch i've made! he's gone from not wanting seconds after the first lot to requesting that i make them!!

morning fjorngueja, don't you work fridays?

HippyHippopotamus · 29/10/2010 09:25

ooooh look what's arrived......

FjorgynAndHotWater · 29/10/2010 09:29

Ooooh what you got?

FjorgynAndHotWater · 29/10/2010 09:30

Btw am Grin at all your attempts to spell my name!

Bloodberrybatbait · 29/10/2010 09:31

Nooo They were yummy! I'm not a on great choccie thing atm but they were perfect. I make mine slightly thicker in a smaller tin but taste just a good as yours.

Crispy - we have just booked tickets for the Westonbirt Christmas thingie are you going?

aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 29/10/2010 10:29

I could eat some brownies right now. Shite night's sleep because of this stupid fucking chest infection thing that means I can't lie flat because it makes me breathless and coughy. I have painted on a healthful face and had some painkillers for breakfast.

UrsulaUndressUp · 29/10/2010 10:34

Hi everyone so sorry to hear about unwell fathers Sad Crispy and Bibi. Enya, hope your trip was not too traumatic and that your dad will bear up ok over the next while.

We had nice couple of days away doing touristy things.

So tis all Halloweeny on the thread now, better get my long black cloak out of mothballs.

ScreamingTerror · 29/10/2010 11:20

Muah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!! Tis Friday before Halloween and the ghoulish is beginning. Forgive the SSSSSSSSSSSCCCCCCCCCCCRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMSSSSSSSSSSS! ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Merlion · 29/10/2010 11:20

Not having a good day. Feeling very sick and tired and managed to scrape the car in sodding stupidly tight multi-storey car park - whoops. DH was remarkably nice about it - but still very annoyed.

Work is ridiculously busy - roll on the weekend. DS on the other hand been sweetness and light considering yesterday's hairdressing disaster.

RedLentil · 29/10/2010 17:01

Oh Merlion. You poor dear. Love from here. Morning sickness is vile. Sad

I got my 'registration of business name' cert through this morning and have bagged the .ie name to go with wdhd so I'm very giddy about all of that.

I was up at 5:30 doing copy for brochures and stuff for people so it does seem as if the project is going the right way at last. Smile Thanks for all your support. Tis much appreciated.

Virtual muffin sharing bbb? Hmm Grin Sounds like a Hot Mamas plan.

The outlaws are here until tomorrow night.

ShineyHappyHair · 29/10/2010 18:00

I so want Take That tickets but they seem to be sold out....Sad

HippyHippopotamus · 29/10/2010 18:28

fjotyryuu i do at least start with the right intention of spelling it correctly!

legume oooh, all v exciting! congrats!!!

merlion i hope it passes quickly for you.pleased ds is helping cheer you up

HippyHippopotamus · 29/10/2010 18:28

back later, ds reckons my mn time has finished

PertyPru · 29/10/2010 20:29

Evening, just twiddling my thumbs here as our friends and their toddler are coming to stay the weekend - they are meant to be here for dinner but have got held up... Nice smells coming from the kitchen though, and by the sound of it DD is taking ages to go to sleep so probably just as well.

Red that all sounds brilliant, well done. Sure the long term plan ought to involve slightly later mornings though Smile

Merlion how horrid to have a prang when you're already feeling grim. Hope you're able to put your feet up while someone provides tea and chocolate...

You a bit excited about Halloween, Screamer? WinkGrin
