Been out tonight to a Breast Cancer Pampered Chef evening. Yummy food and won a make-up makeover voucher in the raffle [hsmile]

When we got back, the babysitter said there had been not a whisper from the girls. DH went to go to bed and found DD2 tucked up in our bed . She has been put back to bed and all fine

Ended up with DD1 and DD2 in our bed last night. DD2 finally got evicted for kicking and singing and then slept until 7.30. hurrah!

dad got the all clear from eye consultant yipee so that is two good pieces of news from me hurrah

we are limping along til half term dd1 so shattered so lots of tantrums and whining!!!

Freezing here too so lit the fire even before breakfast, have to stay in & work today so may as well be warm(ish). But even though cold it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL at the moment, I adore October weather and the beauty of the trees before it all drops off.

The cold weather is here but it's not here. Seems if I where a turtle-neck the temp rises to 70 but if I only wear t-shirt it doesn't get above 50.

I need to be dealing with the laundry. It has completely gotten out of control. Clean piles out number dirty piles but STILL there are PILES. I hate laundry! I hate laundry! I hate laundry!

screaming what i'm considering doing is having a basket for each person in the house. clean clothes get put in basket. i'll deal with the baskets for those too little but everyone else ie DH has to put his own stuff away. once the basket is full, no more clothes get washed until its emptied.

ST my laundry mountain is out of control due to the washing machine being out of action for a week or so. This was entirely due to our landlord and his crappy DIY plumbing He fixed it at last today so I will be feeling your pain as I plough through the grot.

Well, DS is in his big boy bed at last and fast asleep. The last two days have been rather a saga, mainly thanks to some seriously shit customer service from John Lewis. Poor DH has had a crappy birthday today, so we are drinking beer and waiting on takeaway curry.

GRRRR! My problem is the clean piles have gotten mixed with the dirty piles so I don't know what's what. I've said TO HELL WITH and I'm washing the lot of it. One basket has been washed, dried, and put away. A million more to go then repeat next week.

DD2 has been not at all herself today. She's spent most of it crying and/or fussing. Her nose is snotty. Her only happiness is sitting on the sofa with her blanket & pacey watching Wonder Pets.
