Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
blueberryboybait · 18/10/2010 06:51

Cooffeee where is the coffee? Feck that was a crap night! DD1 has developed a random tickly cough and has coughed and puked in my bed 4 times in the night. She is now on the sofa with a buxket! DD2 on the other hand was a dream and only woke when DD1 went into malt down at 6am.

Shiny - We made sure DD1 was out when her bed arrived so she didn't see her cot go, she also still has her grobag.

demanding creature needs food, back later.

enyahadenough · 18/10/2010 07:30

Oh bb what a horrible night, hope dd1 makes a swift recover... passes vat of coffee hugs..

dd1 turned up in the middle of the night again complaining of a poorly ear Hmm..

i am lowering dd2 cot on friday, going to get h to put a stairgate on her room today as i have feeling she is going to be a cheeky minx!! i was really worried about moving dd1 but she was an angel never left her bed and used to call me from her bed whe she woke up!! how times have changed, now she is never in there Grin...

off to appt today worried to hell but postive all will be well Smile

blueberryboybait · 18/10/2010 07:33

Enya - fingers crossed for today - I hope it all goes well.

enyahadenough · 18/10/2010 07:39

thx blue hope u get some much needed sleep today xxx

CrispyTheCorpse · 18/10/2010 08:45

Oh, blueberry, sounds horrendous, hope you do get some sleep later. I have to say, i have been giving DD1 some precautionary cough medicine before bed for the last 2 nights as she has been coughing a lot in the day and just before bed. Fingers x'd it has done the trick so far, although no sign of the cough actually going Hmm

enya will be thinking of you today, and i hope the results are ok. {{{hugs}}}

DD1 is coming to playgroup today as one of her potential schools are coming down to join in with us. 2 of her friends who used to be at the playgroup will be there and she is SO excited to see them. I really hope they don't blank her as she is not a 'big girl' like them Sad

ST enjoy your lie in Smile

HippyHippopotamus · 18/10/2010 08:56

enya just popping on quickly to send lots of good thoughts your way

RedLentil · 18/10/2010 08:59

Fizzing with excitement here about a chance to do something exciting with the wordbox project. Wink I have a challenge for you all over in the secret place ...

Love to all who've had awful nights.

RedLentil · 18/10/2010 09:02

Just reading back - good luck today Enya.

blueberryboybait · 18/10/2010 09:24

Crispy - hope all goes okay for DD1 today and her big friends play with her.

Morning Red - do you give spelling lessons? I could use some reading my last post back!

DD1 is in one of 'those' spaces this morning not only content with not sleeping she has, fallen off the dining table and bumped her knee (trying to get the laptop for Fraggle Rock) fallen off the dining chair bumping her head on the french doors (bouncing whilst watching fraggle rock) walked into the front door because she was yelling NO at DH because he turned Fraggle Rock off and bitten her tounge whilst stealing DH's toast whilst he went to answer his phone. We are going out for a walk in the buggy later for some fresh air and where she can be strapped into place!

Merlion · 18/10/2010 11:19

Enya- hope all goes well today.

blueberry - think DS too having a bad day - he was up at 5am again! Have just had playdate from hell with him where he just screamed and wouldn't share anything. I haven't managed to have a nap today and feel exhausted and still feeling very nauseous but thanks all for the tips. There'll definitely be some calpol for him before bedtime.

aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 18/10/2010 12:47

Help yourself to a swig as well Merlion, it's medicinal Wink

enya all good wishes for today, am thinking of you :)

enyahadenough · 18/10/2010 12:49

Thanks ladies all clear lymph node! Been poked and prodded and feel wrung out but v relieved!

aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 18/10/2010 12:52

Fantastic :) Treat yourself to a glass of something special tonight.

CrispyTheCorpse · 18/10/2010 13:07

Yay, hurrah Enya Smile. Wonderful news & i hope DD1 now isn't coming down with something

Thanks blueberry, DD1 had a lovely fun time and played with the 'big girls'. DD2 however pulled her hair and pushed her over Hmm. Then on the way home i made the mistake of asking if it was nice that DD1 had come with us and DD2 said 'NO!'. Poor DD1 then said, oh DD2, i just want you to love me Sad. I know DD2 is just going through a stroppy teenage toddler time but it is still heartbreaking for DD1

Red - sounds very exciting and i imagine a whole lot easier to persue now you are back home. Can you give us any more info on the FB page?

merlion hope you manage a little nap today. Have you told work yet or will you wait until after the next scan?

ShineyHappyHair · 18/10/2010 13:09

That's great news Enya, I'll have a glass for you as well!! Wink

pretending to be At work at the moment, have about 200 emails to process..., just stopping by on my lunch break!

enyahadenough · 18/10/2010 13:32

Off out to get the wine now I know hot mamas won't mind just this once Grin

blueberryboybait · 18/10/2010 13:52

YAY Enya :) am so pleased you ahve been given the all clear.

Oh Crispy - poor DD1 she can have my DD1, when she is better, P needs someone to idolise as the big girls at toddlers have started full time school this week.

Shiney - pf stare - to work with you!

DD1 is now really not well - she is croupy and coughing and puking with the coughing. Docs say not to bring her in just otc cough medicine and neurofen.

Merlion · 18/10/2010 13:54

Enya great news - have a glass for me too!

Crispy ah bless DD1 that's so lovely. Unfortunately too late for nap time as is now nearly bed time. DS asleep and I will be heading that way shortly.

No work don't know. I probably won't tell them till 12 weeks if I can help it.

ScreamingTerror · 18/10/2010 14:38

Very good Enya. Did they discuss with you that this will/might be a common occurrence for a long while. Fibrous breast are such a pain.

Merlion I love hearing that you are sick. That is such good news despite the sick part.Wink 12 weeks will be here before you know it.

Blueberry sounds like you've got another rough night ahead of you.

Red, Hippy, Star, & Shiny.

I'm allowing the girls to run wild. Today is day 1 of fall break and we shall do nothing. Nothing is so rare that it is a privilege. Both are running and screaming and playing with their toys and watching television and reading and it's only 9:30AM. I've only had to YELL twice so far and DD1 has only been in time out once. Tomorrow I'll plan a trip out (if we survive today).

While they are running wild I am balancing the checkbooks. I can not believe it's been 2 whole weeks since I last balanced.Blush What have I been doing that my financial duties have been forgotten????Hmm

ScreamingTerror · 18/10/2010 14:39

oh > to Crispy too. Smile
