Hi all! I'm back, after being AWOL for a bit. 
My time got eaten by organising the naming ceremony, then my DH gave me his cold! I've lost track of the thread a bit, but will do my best to catch up later.
I'm quite lucky that Mindy doesn't seem to have picked up a cold yet, despite me having two since she was born. I've been unlucky with colds this year, I must be on my seventh! I normally only get two or three. At least now I'm not pregnant I can use the nasal sprays again, which work a treat. 
I guess I'm also lucky that my HV is lovely. :) She stopped by this morning to talk me through weaning, which I can technically start in less than two weeks time now, if I feel so inclined. 
However I'll probably hold out for another month or so, then offer Mindy a few bits and pieces to see if she's interested. She watches me eat in fascination now, so I wouldn't be surprised if she takes to it.
Things seem to be going well, as apparently my HV doesn't need to see me/Mindy again until the 8-12 month development checks! (Though I can call for extra appointments or a chat before then if I need to.)
No major head clonk confessions, but I have dropped Mindy onto the changing mat on a hard wooden desk a few times for the last few cms after she squirmed out of my hold. It makes a sickening clunk, but she seems to be ok and mostly just looks a little surprised. DH also accidentally nicked her finger when trimming her nails, but she seems to have survived that one ok too!
