stac even my old surgery i was at before this one doesnt have a drop in, i have rang my surgery to make a complaint, they gave me a number of someone, i spoke to some woman about my hv how ive been told i have mild PND and have no support at all, that Lyndon has been throwing up his feeds since birth and no one cares becasue hes still a fatty and im quite frankly sick of it, within 2 mins my hv team has called, my hv is on holiday again but they are weighing him friday before my doc appointment, warned them he needs a weekly weigh in too

stac14 · 19/10/2010 13:11

i'm glad you actually had someone listen to you, i think its extremely irresponsible they havent returned your calls, my hv is off sick but her colleagues call back x

memphis it's the same here, I phoned and left so many messages and no one ever rang back. I have to make an appt just to get S weighed, a right pita when at the last place they had a drop-in just across the road Angry sooooo frustrating, especially since S throws up most feeds and isn't gaining so I need him weighed.

DesperateHousewife21 · 19/10/2010 15:06

Thanks chulita and stac he is cleverly hiding my nipple with his arm!

memphis83 · 19/10/2010 15:09

chulita glad its not just my shit hv!! L throws up but is still a good weight, it sounds awful but i wish he would lose just an ounce so then they will do something!!
Lyndons little wetsuit thingy has arrived today, felt so bad when we took him swimming his little gums were chattering all the otherbabues were smiling in their wetsuits all warm! has anyone else ventured to a pool? Lyndon was bigger than a few of the other babies there i was shocked as i thought we had gone early!

memphis83 · 19/10/2010 15:10

Hello all

Memphis we took bethan swimming last week, but it was frezeing she started shaking so I took her out. We could do with a wetsuit for her because I would like to take her again (but maybe to a different pool)

we're having a nightmare at thr moment bethan won't settle anywhere appart from cuddling me. If I want to do anything even go to thr toilet I have to put her down and listen to her scream. It's horrible Sad
It also is really hard as I want to put her down to sleep so I can play with Dylan so he's missing out to.

Is any one else having this problem.

memphis83 · 19/10/2010 17:17

mlic were having pasta bake and ive loaded it with peppers onions tomatoes and mushrooms, followed by a banana bread if it cooks ok then im off to bingo with my friends!
dylthan hope bethan settles soon sounds so frustrating, my dh loves swimming and the outdoors, i hate water got the fear from my mum so we are determined he wont be like me and want to go swimming at least once a week we are just trying all pools in the area to find a warm one! last week i didnt even put my top half in the water!

mlic- Ah crap! I made bolognese and apple pie. Now feel very sick.

Dylthan I took Gwen to the pool today, she seemed happy enough, although she doesnt have any teeth yet,so I wouldnt have noticed them chattering :-s She seems to love the water though, which is good. I'm a terrible swimmer, so it's really important to me that the children learn to swim strongly.

I've got a massive row on the horizon. My best friend- who I've not seen for 10 weeks mind, is having a murder mystery birthday party. To be fair to her, she's given me about 5 months notice, I cant make it, partly beacause there's noone to have Gwen, i don't really feel ready to leave her and partly because my grandfather has just moved back from Australia and I've not seen him yet, so I want to see him while he's around. I know it's inevitable, but I'm dreading the showdownall the same. It's starting to get a little exhausting constantly rowing with friends who don't understand what it's like to have a baby.

Chulita · 19/10/2010 21:33

Aaahh! what am I doing still awake? faffing on t'inters looking for a house to buy...pointless waste of sleep.
tsc what a dumbass thing to do...surely you'd get a washing machine over running a marathon? Hope you don't get ill, that'd be crap!
mlic hope you get lots of milk down W's throat :)
needle hope your bf understands and isn't put out by you putting your family first.
dh argh to you for getting me interested in Downton Abbey.
Night all!xx

Needle · 19/10/2010 21:40

I didn't tell her about my Granfather, that's the problem, because I told her that it was ecuase there was no one to have the baby and she said "can't Hal have her", so I'm worried that if I now tell her about my grandfather, she'll just think I'm making excuses. Urgh, I though I'd grow out of this nonsense when I had a baby.

tsc Oh my god, you poor thing. I'd go insane without my washing machine.

stac14 · 19/10/2010 21:55

yip needles mlic is right and if she cant be understanding she doesnt deserve your friendship.

tsc thats totally shit, cant you use the leccy money for the washing machine repair then put it back, its like robbing peter to pay paul we do it all the time too and i hate it. Hats off to you coping without your machine. I'm bad enough trying to get stuff dried.

memphis pasta bake sounds yum.

mlic thats rotten bout dinner but at least you got a chinese instead lol

Rileigh's just went down she only took 4oz so no doubt she'll be up at 3. Back to school tomorrow thankfully in saying that ds has been playing his comp so quite quiet. Think its good to have the routine x
