Dh apologised for swearing at me as soon as I came down from upstairs. I said I was sorry and also thanked him for helping this weekend - and cried, again! I'm not normally all teary by the way!

Oh and we had a quick, late roast after all!

Needle - ah well, I guess it would be a blessing in one way then. Please get a test soon and let us all know!

Mlic - i really hope they do get to the bottom of it at the consultant appt. You're managing the stress of it really well.

stac14 · 10/10/2010 23:13

needles cant wait to here, how is dh bout it?

cakes i usually dont appologise if its dp being an ass unless i caused it iyswim. But as mlic says usually one sorry leads to another and could open the lines of communication. Hope your sorted

Dh is thrilled. He's praying for twin boys and relishing the prospect of bragging to his single, childless friends about his super swimmers.

kkfairybrains · 10/10/2010 23:46

Oh my god needle how exciting!! Cant wait to hear!
It was 2moro last year that ellie was concieved!
Mlic i just presumed he cried aswell with the feeding. Can only imagine how frustrating it is for you.
Birthday party sounds eventful tsc...
In london at the minute and flying back from here in the morn. Had a bril weekend and cant wait to get back to my woman! She hasnt missed me at all says dp!

MMy daughter has turned on me. She woke last night at 12, 2.30 and 6. I really hope it's just her growth spurt and not the onset of sibling rivalry.

Still haven't got a pg test. Dh turned off the hot water last night and I can't go out without having s bath, and it takes aaages to heat up.

stac14 · 11/10/2010 11:21

you must feel great mlic keeping fingers crossed its not a one off

needles we are in suspense lol. What age is g now? It may be a growth spurt as rileigh has been waking up for the last week but last night she slept 10-6 then 9am so its just a phase x

Hello everyone,
Im still in the babies turned bad group, Devon had me up at 3.40 last night, i tried for 20mins to settle him then decided to give him a bottle which he drained so he obviously wanted it. If i could get back into bed and go to sleep i would have ben up less than an hour, which u can cope with but nooooooo not me, i lie there awake for the next two hours!! So feeling a bit tired today.
needles OMG........sod the bath get to the shop and get a test!!!!
mylife ur pate sounds interesting, glad ur feeling good today!
kk what did u come to england for?
cake Its quite a stressfull time and my DH and I do fall out a bit but not for long, the other day we were both trying to tell the other what to do re Devon, we were just trying to help the other but in the process just frustrsting the other and making the situation worse, we realized what we were both doing and it made us laugh!
Although Devon is getting up in the night he is being a particularly good baby in the day now.....I wrote down our rough routine and weirdly its almost exactly the same as Ginas 3-4 month routine.
My friends came at the weekend, they loved Devon loads, she is 7 months pg, they loved the basket i had put together, i just hope it all helps. Off to HV in a min with my friend, its a lovely day here so gona walk through the park, should be nice.

Negative.

I feel kind of disappointed now, even though it would have been really inconvenient.

The doctor said that the whole BF/ contraceptive thing probably wouldn't apply to me, because gwen sleeps on average 10th hours a night, and if you aren't feeding to s regular pattern, it's not so effective. Still, I am grateful for the chance to lose the stone of baby weight I'm carrying before I get pregnant again!

stac14 · 11/10/2010 15:49

aw needles it will happen when its ready. I fell straight away with ds and it took me 2yrs with dd but i have a huge age gap and didnt know i had polcystic ovaries. Are you going to keep trying?

mlic let us know how dh gets on

tsc are you at mil's this week? Poor you, but its good dp is now on side.

I have been arguing with sil again she is an arse. To long a story but i'm fed up saying nothing so i told her the truth and feck her if she doesnt like it.

viks rileighs been the same but she was better last night as i held off the last bottle or try hungry baby milk it keeps them fuller for longer

kk im sure ellie missed you loads, you glad to be home? X

DesperateHousewife21 · 11/10/2010 17:02

Ah needle no worries as the others have said it'll happen when its meant to, gives you some time to just be you!

DP, Dylan and I went for a nice walk earlier so thats tired us all out! Hope he sleeps better tonight, he was a little shit pickle last night, up at 12,3,6 and 7, nice...

Ive started giving him a bath every night as part of his routine now, seems to be helping a bit, trouble is with this unusually warm weather down here I cant put him in his sleeping bag whilst feeding him to sleep as he gets so sweaty so am looking forward to it getting a bit cooler.

Baby group was cancelled today due to the leader being ill, still hoping DP proposes this week, would be nice...

CherryPie3 · 11/10/2010 17:55

Hello July mummies - may I join you?

DS2 Corey Owen was born 2/7/10 and is growing soooo fast!! I'm on the August thread too as that was when my little man was originally due but he's an impatient one, I love all the ladies on there but their babies are at a very different stage to ds2 and I feel a tad out of place.

I bake if that helps Grin

xxx

stac14 · 11/10/2010 18:23

Of course you are more than welcome, congrats on your little boy.
My ds Dylan was born on 9/7/10, he's my first :)

stac yeah its good so far thanks! We're going to a big shopping centre tomoro, its about a 45 min drive but its soo worth it lol.

Needle · 11/10/2010 18:54

Lol, welcome cherry, you'll fit right in. I'm a baking fanatic too, kind of cursing it at the moment mind, its not helping to lose the baby weight!

Dd Gwendolyn was born 26/7 and seems to have doubled in size in the last week.

memphis83 · 11/10/2010 19:28

welcome cherry another baker here, although sticking to tea bread as it doesnt contain butter so in my eyes thats baking somthing healthy! Grin my ds is 13 weeks and called Lyndon

dh is away tonight so on my tod again, hes away a day or 2 next week and at the end of the month a whole week in Scotland not looking forward to that!
Lyndon just had an almighty screaming fit its so unlike him!
dh enjoy shopping tomorrow! hope you get treated to something nice!
