tsc During the day there's sod-all routine in term of feeds but she doesn't cluster feed til late afternoon and both of them are in bed asleep by 7.45pmish so i could do it in the evening.

Don't be too jealous tho, as it all turns to shit later on as F is still waking up screaming with teething pain and ending up in our bed for the past 2 weeks and A is back to waking for a feed in the early hours.

mlic i'm sorry, i hope i didn't offend you with what i said about dh.

Cool mlic - I didn't want to be all holier than thou, gawd only knows my dh has enough faults of his own, they're just different ones - e.g. black socks littered round the house where he randomly takes them off and leaves them Angry

CakeandRoses · 09/10/2010 22:56

mlic it is odd re your DS's fake feeding - previously, i'd assumed you meant he was crying when he wouldn't feed, not that he just wasn't sucking.

ah - that sounds rather less-mad and quite fun, actually!

I'm going on the idea that this is the last year that I can get away with a tiny, sedate tea-party as by 3, Felix will be demanding certain friends and stuff.

hi everyone, nothink much going on here had to avoid the town this weekend as there was an EDL meet riot it apparently got quite nasty and ended up being on sky news!! so we went for a walk with friends to a pub yesterday eventhough it was freezing, lyndon was fine all wrapped up, i on the other hand couldnt feel my arms Grin then today we went to a local woods for a walk and an ice cream i ached this morning so after about 8 miles today i will feel it tomorrow! poor Lyndon has an open sore on his wink!! not bothered him in the slightest though!!
tsc one thing i cant wait for is birthday parties, wish we had a nice tearooms that sounds lovely!! ours will be at home just hope when we move we have a lovely garden like here!

DesperateHousewife21 · 10/10/2010 17:09

Hi all,

Dylan woke at 2ish last night, then again around 6 and 7 as per.

Just had an hours sleep with him on me so we're both feeling better. A bit worried he can only sleep on me during the day now. We went out for an hours walk earlier, he now sits in the main bit of the buggy slightly upright so he can see the world, he much prefers it.

memphis that sounds nasty about the sore on Lyndon's wink, Dylan had an open sore on his bum cheek when he was just a week old and it didnt seem to worry him at all either. Have you got metanium cream for it? Godsend for sores down there.

stac Ive got cold chicken breasts with new potatoes and salad, the cheats roast I call it! Doesnt take nearly as long either lol.

Needle · 10/10/2010 17:37

Hi Ladies, how is everyone's weekend going? Memphis, sorry I didn't reply to you on FB- we ended not heading North, although it probably would have been a nightmare if the EDL were marching, so probably not a bad thing after all.

Spent all day at Ally Pally with my mum yesterday at the Knitting and Stitching fair. Gwen was an absolute angel all day when I had her in a sling, then pooped all over my mum, my stepdad and my stepdad's car while w were waiting for DHto pick us up.
By the way,for the cheapskates and fashion conscious, I found a really good website about babywearing, it's here- we didn't want to fork out for a proper baby carrier, so I spent a fiver on a pretty sari and learnt how to tie that instead. I wore Gwen from 9am-6pm and she was totally fine and i didn't even have a backache. It might be worth trying for those of us whose babies don't like being in the pram.

Can't belive I missed the chance to rant about the DPs. I could have done with that

I think I might be pregnant again. :-s

stac14 · 10/10/2010 18:52

wow needles have you tested? Rant away bout dh, we do it all the time.

dh mine is kind of a cheats vesion but still took 2 hours lol.

memphis you'l fade away to nothing with all the walking lol. Oh sore wink, what you using?

just waiting for xfactor then bath and bed for us, school hols so ds off to 20th argh x

Evening all.

Omg needle re poss pg! As mlic, how would you feel?

Mlic - have the docs ever seen a baby avoid milk like that before?

We've just been to the circus which we thought F would love and A would sleep thru. Turns out A loved it and sat upright for an hour on DH's lap taking it in with her huge eye. F hated it and kept pointing at the door, even when the clowns came on.

We were supposed to have a roast when we got back but DH and had a row and then got stuck into DC's bedtime before we made up so don't think there's time for a roast now, even tho like mlic our would be a quickish veggie one.

I've been a right miserable cow to DH this weekend, I've just realised. I was feeling down about the mastitis and behind with everything because I haven't had much energy. Altho he's the least sympathetic man in the world, he does show he cares by helping practically - and all I've done is moan, cry and blame him really :-(

Trying to decide whether to wait for an apology for him saying "fuck you" earlier (a mortal sin in this household) or just apologising first. I'm not at all stubborn and will always apologise if I'm in the wrong, I just really hate being sworn at.

Hope next week is a happier one for us all!

Oh god tsc. And you try to please them...

Just reread my last post and saw about a million unintentionally funny errors, eg my dd only having one eye, and asking needle how she'd feel being pg as mlic.

memphis83 · 10/10/2010 21:09

mlic your roast sounds fab!!! mmm mmm i made a spicy tomato sauce full of veg and made meatballs to go in it not very traditional but nice and followed by apple crumble!!
im using metanium and its already clearing up. but now every drop of milk sonce 5 has come up 5 bibs, 4 outfits and dh, sofa and me covered too! poor boy keeps crying out in his sleep!
tsc what a shame about party!
stac im definatly getting use out of buggy with the walking but my legs are throbbing, dh away tomorrow night so i will gorge on crap to boost calories no doubt!

Oh heck. I wish i'd got off my bum earlier and gone out for a pg test, not knowing is driving me mad. On the one hand i'd be thrilled if i were pregnant, on the other, I really wasn't intending such a small gap between the first and second- we were planning to try for the next one in february, whereas this would put just 11 months between Gwen and the next one.

I might be totally panicking over nothing, but i have noticed lots ofthings i had at the beginning of my pregnancy with Gwen- I'm thirsty all the time, peeing incessantly, very lightheaded, emotional, tired. I think I had a very light period about five weeks ago, but i'm not really sure, basically, I've not got a clue till i do a test. Will let you all know asap.

Sod's bloodly law. No sex since my honeymoon, then the first time i do after the baby's born, I get pregnant again. Considering we're planning another three kids, that averages out as about 1 shag per year for the next three years.
