aw memphis you are having a shitty time, phone hv and explain whats happening she may get you and lyndon an app quicker. The jabs are something you can deal with later and as everyone has said get someone else to take him.
mlic you poor luv, glad he took something though hun. Your cons app is the same day as rileighs. Think he may have been right bout the gavisscon as its added to the milk and may put him off more.

tsc no wonder your chanting it will pass, how are the kids now?

Well ds has just thrown up and dp thinks he's at it, i'm not sure what to believe. He says his tums aching so he's had paracetamol. I think he's just looking for attention, He's 11 and not usually an attention seeker

Hows everyone else? X

Mlic - has the doc ruled out silent reflux? Seems the most likely thing I can think of. Sounds so worrying

Night all

kk thats crap bout your car, some people are so rotten. Hope you can find out who it is so you can claim their insurance.

tsc that doesnt sound unreasonable, as you say they know whats going on and are good friends. They may assume its not happening anyway

Well ds wasnt sick again but said he still didnt feel well but i have sent him to school and said if he's ill they will phone me. Do you think i'm being rotten? I know he may be feeling a bit left out but hes not staying off school for it, if that makes sense x

Morning all,

I feel like Dylan is a very calm baby now compared to some of the others.

I hope things get better for you mlic memphis and tsc.

Not much to report from me, going to see my sis today, thats about it!

memphis83 · 30/09/2010 09:25

morning ladies.
lyndon only woke once in the night, i think he only woke as he was cold, nurse told me to put him just in a vest but i put him in growbag too and his little arms were freezing so i put him in a sleepsuit! hes back to his chatty normal happy self today, im only going out the get a prescription want to be a hermit today, mil in law is coming over Hmm but she only stays for 20 mins when she does, think i can handle it! my friend is coming over tonight with a bottle of wine!!
we're going alton towers on monday just me and dh, cant wait!!
hope everyone has a good day today the sun is shining here but i bet its still cold out there!

Spirael · 30/09/2010 10:46

Morning all. :) I'm glad things seem to be improving for everyone, hopefully today will be a good day for all! The sun is shining here after several days of rain; lovely!

Things are going fine over here. I just got back from Mindy's second injections and I'm giving her a nice long cuddle and feed since she was such a brave girl. She didn't cry at all this time! She just looked a little surprised and then indignant. Shock Grin Even the nurse was impressed.

Then got back to the house to find an unexpected parcel from my MIL which was a lovely little knitted hat for Mindy. Both her grandmothers keep making her lots of lovely things. :) I won't need to buy any jumpers or cardigans all winter!

kkfairybrains · 30/09/2010 11:58

Think thatd be fair tsc cos although they know he is sick they might just feel a bit better with the word from you that it may or may not go ahead.
Stac hope it was just a one off thing with him. Does he like school?

Im looking after my nephew who is 2.7 years old, so this is what it feels like to have a toddler and a tiny baby!

My DN is upstairs doing god knows what, I can hear running water Confused hes potty training atm and he tends to have 'accidents' but Im stuck on the sofa being lazy holding Dylan. Praying he hasnt made a complete mess

memphis83 · 30/09/2010 15:29

haha dh enjoying having a toddler and a baby?? running water and a toddler sound worrying!!
mlic sounds like youve really turned a corner today, lets hope it continues, sounds like the feeds are about the same in ounces as lyndon and hes a chubby little piggy!!!
stac hope ds comes home feeling ok today
tsc im ok thanks, so tired and still a bit teary but my diet has gone out the window today had a double decker, 2 doughnuts, curry for lunch, a gold bar and ive just made a malteser cheesecake, dread to think how many calories are in that!!! but i dont care!
mil is 60 next year wants us and sil's family to go on holiday, shes looking at greece still in july it was 36 degrees there this year, she thinks a 1 yo will be fine with suncream on!?! i suppose she thinks i will feed him chips and crap all week too Confused think dh will have to intervene! aibu?

Memphis so glad lyndon is back to himself. Lol at tsc ftd!! F thw diet is right. Give yourself a break and when ur feeling back to yourself then worry bout the diet. Whens dp home?
Mlic really hope things are on the up for you! Sounds promising x
dh that sounds like loads of fun!!
Am quite jealous of your malteser cheesecake memphis it sounds gorgeous!!

DesperateHousewife21 · 30/09/2010 18:33

memphis it was pretty challenging! You just have to let them do what they want as your literally stuck on the sofa feeding the baby. Luckily the running water was just him cleaning his teeth, random.

Oh and was completely naked all day.

memphis83 · 30/09/2010 19:07

haha dh naked all day! i think lyndon will be that kind of toddler, hes happier when hes in bath or just on may with his bum out!!! lol at cleaning teeth!!
kk hes back home tomorrow thsnk god hes so busy when away we talk twice a day but if you add up all the time we chat in a week it wouldnt even be 45 mins! we're suppost to be going to a wedding evening do but he wants to just go for an hour then take me out, which is nice.

stac14 · 30/09/2010 19:39

Evening all, glad all the babies seem to be getting better. DS is also fine, he was at it but I have had a chat with him about it and he seems happier as I will be at his footy match on Monday

memphis yum at maltesers cheesecake

dh lol at teeth brushing but at least he is conciensious lol

how is everyone else today? xx

The thing is he loves school so i know its not that. I think he just wanted attention he has been an only child for a long time. Soz went on a bit there. X

Hey all,

Sounds like everyone is on the up at last Smile

MLIC that's great new re the feeds!! I reckon you should try anti-reflux things anyway as they'll help even if the acid is a result, iyswim? Sorry to bang on but I've seen what a difference not laying DD flat has made to her feeding/crying.

tsc was it a full moon affecting our toddlers? ds was really sweet today too and i felt quite guilty about how I've been cursing him all week!

I'm feeling like a new woman today. Been out two nights in a row (Mark Ronson last night and a Beatles tribute band tonight), both ace. Felt really loved up with DH. Didn't have milk, snot, paint or vom in hair so quite glam really Grin

Have also had lots of three compliments in last two days about weight etc which was v boosting altho the scales tell a different story so I've obviously perfected some kind of optical illusion Hmm

DH just left for the night to drive 2.5 hours to Bournemouth for a v early meeting tomorrow. Sad We had a dreadful night's sleep last night so I'm quite worried about him driving altho he's promised he'll pull over if tired.

Shitting it Slightly apprehensive about tonight on my own as ds still waking up loads thru teething. Have another solo night on Saturday but I'm staying at my mother's in Brighton so hoping they'll give me a lie-in at least!

Good night everyone.

DesperateHousewife21 · 01/10/2010 08:41

memphis stac mlic yeah Dylan loves being naked, esp his bottom half! Im going to count myself lucky for now only having the one to look after- for now Grin

Dylan still waking 2ish times a night, he starts off in his moses basket, then wakes around 1ish and comes in my bed for the rest of the night, then wakes about 6ish (wind I think) and I feed him lying down so I can try and get more sleep.

Going to the breastfeeding group today, then on to town to meet my friend with her 4 month old. Ive got my 9 year old niece staying with us tonight, shes going to sleep in Dylans room on a blow up airbed lol, she cant wait she thinks its great fun!
