Morning all.

tsc How's Frankie doing? Did you get any sleep?

MLIC i hope you can get the feeding issues sorted soon. feeding issues are so worrying. everything you try is narrowing it down to the thing that'll work though so hopefully all will be well soon.

Envy of your massage. I'm dying for a pedicure and a facial (actually anything really that counts as someone looking after me!) but haven't had a mo to arrange them/DH to be around to look after DC. That said, my cousin just asked if I fancy a day trip to Champneys at the end Oct. Just not sure if that'll be too soon to leave A for the day - plus it'll involve massive amounts of expressing (both before and on the day) and DH feeling able to handle a day on his own with both DCs!

KK nice one on the weaning front Smile Don't forget there are quite a few of us 2nd/3rd time around mothers on here who have weaned previous DCs quite recently so it's pretty fresh in our minds - so feel free to ask anything! I'm hoping to be able to pick others brains on potty training soon. will be v nice to only have 1 in nappies!

stac i had the same bloody problem re not being sleepy last night. didn't jump on dh though - he'd have killed me rather than shagged me!

needle (belatedly replying to your comment re sneaking nappies into trolley) i'd started out with good intentions re reusable nappies but didn't ever get to a point where i made the transition (the washing mountain never got to a manageable stage!) i use Naturecare disposables instead which are fully biodegradable - i justify them by thinking that they don't come with the environmental burden of all the washing as per reusables Smile

DS is better and has gone to nursery today - yay!!!! he was a whining little sod angel this morning though so i'm half expecting nursery to pretend he's been sick again so they can send him home!

Feels like a proper day off when it's just A at home!

Gosh - looong post!

Au contraire: I admire you for having curry for brekkie! Anything's better than boring cereal/toast/blah. I eat cake for breakfast any day I can!

DH and I have our first night out together since A arrived tonight! Yay and eek!

we're off to see mark ronson- in hackney i think.

quite nervous but my father and step-ma are baby-sitting and are super with the DCs so all should be cool.

and tomo night, we're out again Blush (twas the only night i could get tickets). we're off to see the band who played at our wedding - i bought the tickets for our 1st wedding anni a couple of weeks ago.

WTF shall I fit wear x2?

cakes i had intention of real nappies but hasnt happened doesnt help my concience that my mate has an online eco baby shop!! i use sainsburys eco nappies, i find them better than the nature ones and they are cheaper!!

stac had horrid day cant remember who said it being stress but think it is, he had his jabs today my sil came with me but he screamed so much he went purple and held his breath he rarely cries so it was awful, went to lunch with friend and had to scrap it he cried woke and screamed for an hour was too scared to put him in car as he was holding breath, hes ok now but i feel on verge of heart attack, dh isnt answering his phone, dont want lyndon having anymore jabs, if dh insists he does he deals with it, i didnt have any jabs til my tb at 13 hasnt done me any harm! cant get me or lyndon into docs til the 13th as it isnt an emergency!! going to go and have another cry now!

tsc the things youve had to do for frankie, with the blood tests and tongue make me sound quite pathetic i need to give myself a good slap, spoke to sil and dh between them they are going to sort his jabs, my friend who saw me this afternoon couldnt believe the state he was in and her baby is 3 weeks older and is generally a crier! so bloody weepy, missing dh like mad and house is like a bomb site, got the fucking mil coming in the morning oh joy!!!

CakeandRoses · 29/09/2010 17:51

Mlic - you really have my sympathy, nothing wears you out more than hearing your baby scream and scream. I really hope you get it sorted soon.

Memphis - It does sound like you're havin a rough time of it and getting anxious. Just focus on getting yourself feeling calmer today, don't worry about the future jabs now. I'm sure you could arrange someone else to take him. It's likely he was upset because he was picking up the (understandable) tension from you, rather than the jabs themselves hurting him. My DS barely whimpered with any of his so I don't think they can be all that bad.

TSC - big hugs to you both. Can dp take frankie for a while and give you some time to yourself?

tsc oh i know just think i need to pull my head out my arse, love the FTH!!!
feeling so much better my mum just came over to keep lyndon occupied while i got on with what ever needed doing and indeed fucked the housework and had a long long soak in the bath with a trashy mag and a cuppa!

kkfairybrains · 29/09/2010 21:41

Aw memphis you poor thing. Is dp away?? Everything seems to get on top of us more when the dp is away. Well i know it does with me anyway. Even if they didnt do anything its juat to know someone is there. So wouldnt blame you for being anxious. Sounds like the poor little mite had a rough time today :-( not nice seeing them like that at all.
Tsc i think your right, we all seem to be having bother in 1 way or another. Its not easy at all.
Some fucker drove into my car and drove off. I went to the cinema last night with the girls and think it could have uappened then. Dp only noticed it today. Into the side of it above thw front wheel is all dented in and paint gone off. Going to report it tomorrow and see if there is cameras where it was parked. Im so pissed off cos im after spending about 500 euro on getting every little scrape fixed so i can sell it and now this. Theres just always something and really cant afford to spend anymore money on it cos we'r really skint. Have portamouth next weekend and if the ticket wasnt bought for me i wouldnt be goin cos everything is falling behind.
Sorry for the rant just in a mood today with everything
hows frankie this eve tsc?
