Farage has said a car was seen going up the drive 5 mins before she's thought to have been killed.

There was an almost 90 percentage chance the police knew who jack the ripper was, many think the restriction of publically naming would do less damage then to 'spill the beans'. I'll say no more but mark my words, this will be 'brushed under the carpet '

Erm, you do know that Jack the Ripper was around in the 1880-1890s, and nobody could prove who he was, not even Emilia Fox and David Wilson with the benefit of modern "CSI" technology.

And Shergar hint, he'll be long dead by now, but you crack on

Sorry @JoshLymanSwagger but I just won't believe that Shergar is dead unless I hear it from Clive.

NewPinkJacket · 11/07/2026 12:17

So they can have it grabbed from them and sprayed in their own eyes?

Also, at what age do you think it should be legal to carry?

It’s no worse then being stabbed anyway.

so many women these days days carry mini deep heat and a rape alarm for the same purpose.

honestly, I’d let a 10 yr old carry that.

Frequency · 11/07/2026 17:44

Do we know for a fact that Clive is not Shergar?

I think Clive needs his own thread. Maybe he should stand in Clacton?

Why would anyone ring the police just because they're unable to contact someone half an hour later? 😳

Total misuse of police time.

It was 24hours later and the paramedics must have been called there by someone, possibly even Ann herself as she lay injured, we don’t know. I will wait until the police update.

How would he address the press?
Verbally or through his bum.

see, I can do a bit polite

AllTheTreesOfTheField · 11/07/2026 17:50

RIP Ann. I sincerely hope the vile perp is caught and justice is served.

Mr & Mrs Clive seem most anxious that the whole thing is brushed under carpet, though..........

You needed to read the post I was replying to.

I did quote it.

I've just had a lengthy conversation with my husband Clive about this is one of my favourite sentences ever

Farage seems to know a suspicious amount of detail about the murder🧐

Are Nigel and Clive one and the same?

FROM THE BBC WEBSITE:**

Major incident portal established as police appeal for tips
"I would appeal to anyone who may have information about this incident, however insignificant it may seem, to come forward and speak with us," says Asst Chief Const Matt Longman.
He is also urging people to avoid speculating online about what happened.
"This is not only potentially harmful to our investigation but also deeply distressing for family and friends of Miss Widdecombe.
"The family have also asked for their privacy to be respected as they come to terms with what has happened.

"We have set up a Major Incident Public Portal for information, images or footage to be submitted to us. This can be found on our website."

I just thought it might be worth me reposting this...

I altered the original text to include the italics at I thought that was quite important to stress.

Especially for Clive.

I'd love Clive to have his own thread where he can decisively solve all life's mysteries. I had a panic earlier because I lost my phone, which was on silent. If I'd known I could just #AskClive it would've saved me a lot of stress and hunting.

Ah, the old "I know the Chief Constable, you know...<hic>" after they've crashed their car into your house.

This sentence belongs in an Alan Bennet play, with a (late) Thora Hird type actress as female lead.

I suspect he knows as much as the rest of us (sweet FA)but just wants to appear like he's in the know. Wouldn't be the first time he's claimed to have knowledge of something that is later revealed to be blatant wrong/untrue.

Hmm, I could do with some new bras...I really don't think I want to #AskClive about that.

Like how much better off we'll be after we leave the EU?

Yeah, still waiting on that one.

I hope some nice custard creams were involved. Or even a garibaldi or two

Personally I like snapping a Kit Kat in half the wrong way.
