Suspicious death, suspected murder. Think there is a press conference soon.

Police say it's not terrorism. I'm assuming that means not politically motivated. The most likely is a break in gone wrong, I guess.

I’m not getting into a left vs right aggression debate with you, or indeed anyone else. It’s irrelevant, and frankly offensive in the context of what’s happened.

I’m also completely uninterested how “fashionable” my political views are, because it’s not “fashionable” to murder people regardless of their political beliefs and activity.

Getting into spats about made up assumptions about people’s motives for posting isn’t helpful, and has absolutely bugger all to do with a pensioner being murdered in her own home.

Maybe practice what you preach and get some respect.

Can we speculate on this person who was arrested? I'm thinking of trials to come etc. I don't know if that only applies if he is charged though.

I expect it was a druggie. I also expect there will be a host of excuses for him and a minor custodial sentence.

Explains the delay in the press conference, they wanted to announce the arrest which was presumably only a few hours ago. It’s reassuring for locals that an arrest has been made so quickly.
