What I said was that using silly nicknames like "Trumper" and gleefully telling people to "suck it up" is not treating politics with the grave seriousness it deserves and that people who approach it in this way should not vote.

Interesting that you appear to recognise that behaviour in the Right, though. Anecdotally I would agree that it's more often a marker of a particular subset of Right wing "fans" but I do also see the same from parts of the Left on occasion.
