Now the adults are back in the room in the UK (and mostly back in France) I guess all eyes are going to be on Biden at the NATO summit this week.

Could it be make or break for him? If he falters in any way I doubt if he'll be given a pass this time.

I don't think there have been any Democrat political appointees who would be considered "A" list entertainers /celebrities.The 'big' names like Clint Eastwood, Sonny Bono, Schwarzenegger etc are/were Republicans. I can only think of Al Franken (writer/comedian/SNL) who became a Dem senator but resigned after a #MeToo accusation and Jerry Springer (chat show host) who was mayor of Cincinnati and also worked as an aide for Robert Kennedy.

Other names are often bandied about - like Dwayne Johnson and John Cena - but it most entertainers probably find it more beneficial to declare themselves as Independent.

This will be the first real test of how far courts will stretch SCOTUS' decision, especially the provision to keep evidence of official acts off the table, to protect Trump.

From the video I don't think Trump was hit. I think he hit his ear on the podium on the way down when he hit the ground.

This is a scary, scary thing. He's going to play this for everything he can and his base will be riled up beyond belief. If it causes any disaffected to come back to his side out of sympathy or outrage, I'm afraid the election is lost.
