My old mate Beau made an interesting point about the Johnson-Trump meeting in Fla last week. Noted that Johnson doesn't need Trumps support in the GOP if the Dems are happy to back him. And they seem to be showing that as long as it helps stability they are.

Which suggests that Trump needs Johnson.

There was a suggestion that Johnson may actually have a lot more ambition - and crucially talent - and we shouldn't be surprised if there's a president Johnson in 2032 ...

I believe it only takes one GOP to not vote and the MTG cabal are fucked.

The grown ups in the world can't be unimpressed with how Johnson has arranged this outcome. He's either very smart, or if he isn't (and it's no shame) he listens to smart people.

Back in Blighty, Rish! was clearly being guided by a higher mind for a while - certainly the Windsor framework showed some real smarts. However it's clear that partnership has evaporated. and we are now seeing "Just Rish!" (cue a perfume ad about removing the stink of corruption)

If that does happen, the Dems will have a house majority.

That is very bad news indeed for Trump, isn't it? They might decide to vote on impeaching him for insurrection, or something, so that he can no longer run for President.
