tory policies wrecking the country just like we knew they would

Tories are bad for business. Bad for you and bad for me. Unless you are a dave's mates millionaire perhaps.

"Dave and the team are on the side of the people, not thq mega rich investors and not the Guardian."

please tell me that was a joke

pinkytheshrunkenhead · 18/10/2011 22:09

Yes I do wonder how much longer they can keep going on about how it is all Labour's fault.

How bloody long did it take the NHS to recover from Maggie?

claig · 18/10/2011 22:12

'please tell me that was a joke'

That's no joke, but apparently "sorry, there's no money left" was supposed to be a joke. But the people didn't find it funny, as their services were cut and their jobs were lost.

newwave · 18/10/2011 22:14

"Dave and the team are on the side of the people"

Claig you are a funny person that did make me laugh although if you truly believe that you should be sectioned.

"Can we try and keep it decent and avoid emotive terms like 'wrecking"

It may be emotive but it is the unvarnished truth.

"I think a little respect for the 'team' is in order"

Ha Ha Ha I have seen steaming dog turds who would garner more respect than that bunch of self serving fucking scum called the cabinet and for that matter the Tory party.

Claig you are the living proof that care in the community just does not work.

ChickenLickn · 18/10/2011 22:16

We did get the best healthcare - with the highest ever satisfaction with the NHS, AND one of the most cost effective healthcare systems in the world! That is impressive.

So thats how long it took to recover from the last tory gov. Not sure how we'll end up after this one.

GHAHSTLYGHOULYpants · 18/10/2011 22:20

FFS, I cannot stand the reaction, that if you say you do not like the Tory Coalition with Dave and his chums, then of course you are a Blairite through and through. Honestly, one does not equate the other.

This coalition gov do not seem to be helping me in the least, tax creditsgone, utilities, food pricesup, public sector worker--pay freeze with redundancy likely. I am the squeezed middle and I can tell you it fucking hurts.

ChickenLickn · 18/10/2011 22:22

Ah newwave, if only people respected the tory scum as much as steaming dog turds. They would put them in the poop scoop bin and the world would be a better place.

'We did get the best healthcare - with the highest ever satisfaction with the NHS, AND one of the most cost effective healthcare systems in the world! That is impressive.'

If you believe that then you also probably believed that "we have only 50 days left to save the planet".

In their satisfaction survey that was trumpeted to the public, did they ask the elderly who were left dehydrated and not fed on the wards?

newwave · 18/10/2011 22:31

The survey was before the Tories took control, the deaths came after the Tories took control.

Strange that

claig · 18/10/2011 22:31

Labour came out with lots of whoppers, like they had engineered 'an end to boom and bust'. Most of the public wised up and no longer believed their satisfaction surveys.

crazynannawitchbitch · 18/10/2011 22:34

claig...this government is shit. The cuts they are inflicting are shit. Their policies are shit. Their MPs are shit. They are,in a word, shit

claig · 18/10/2011 22:35

'the deaths came after the Tories took control'

are you saying there were no scandals in hospitals under Labour's rule?

I don't believe the surveys and the opinion polls and the 45 minute minute 'dodgy dossiers', and nor do the majority of the public.

newwave · 18/10/2011 22:37

BTW I would not blame the Tories for the hospital deaths however many elderly, children and vulnerable people will be driven to despair or their deaths by the Tories as they were under Thatcher, that bitch didn?t give a shit if the vulnerable froze to death.

Please God she dies soon I need something to cheer me up.

claig · 18/10/2011 22:38

Of course the cuts are shit, but why are they happening? Do you think tehy want to make themselves unpopular on purpose, after being out of power for 13 years? The cuts are due to teh note saying "sorry, there's no money left". Andy Burnham criticised the Coalition for not going ahead with NHS cuts.

The Coalition are trying to set things right. They are bound to get things wrong, because it is not an exact science. But at teh end of their term, they won't leave a note saying "sorry, there's no money left".

crazynannawitchbitch · 18/10/2011 22:39

No,the note they will leave is "sorry..we were a bunch of shits"

claig · 18/10/2011 22:41

But that would be a lie, and Labour's note "there is no money left" was teh truth.

ChickenLickn · 18/10/2011 22:45

They wont leave any notes, all the notes will be crammed into their back pockets and that of the other 'Mr Werritys'.

claig, to be fair, they are getting pretty much everything wrong. It looks intentional. Do they see this as an achievement?

OP posts:

Their purpose is to destroy the NHS and direct public money into the pockets of their city spiv cronies. They know that they will be toast at the next election as the economy will be even further down the crapper than it is now.

As for unpoular I doubt they care about the opinions of the "lower orders" after all the bitch Thatcher never gave a shit.

claig · 18/10/2011 22:52

newwave, that read like a Guardian caricature of reality.

Andy Burnhamwanted them to cut NHS funding, but they refused to do it. They did not want to destroy the NHS. Labour had just as many "city spiv cronies" as the Coalition. The Coalition will not be toast at teh next election because they will sort the economy out.

The "lower orders" voted for Thatcher. They liked Thatcher, they weren't very impressed by Foot and Kinnock. The people aren't stupid. They don't believe "we have only 50 days to save teh planet", they didn't believe in an "end to boom and bust" and they didn't believe in New Labour's election manifesto. They voted for change and a team that will deliver liberty and prosperity.

claig · 18/10/2011 22:56

They don't believe politicians who say we have teh best health system in teh world, while simultaneously seeing disgusting stories about elderly people being left woithout food and water when in the care of hospitals. They do not accept being told that they have to come and feed and wash their relatives. What are we paying taxes for? For fat cats on £200,000 to presode over a national disgrace?

ChickenLickn · 18/10/2011 22:56

I agree with newwave - "Their purpose is to destroy the NHS and direct public money into the pockets of their city spiv cronies".

It is the only logical interpretation of their actions and of the way they are systematically failing the people of this country.

OP posts:
claig · 18/10/2011 22:58

Then why did they oppose Andy Burnham's advice to cut NHS funding?

SurprisEs · 18/10/2011 22:59

Coming from someone who is stuck in a studio flat with DH and DD. Ran out of nappies and have no money for 3 days to buy more (thank God they're just for sleep) and have to count every penny (I mean every penny) every week to make sure we just about manage.

I have lots of reasons to be bitter, but I honestly think the blame should go to te last government and the state they left us in. Not this government. Cuts must be made. Popular or not.

ChickenLickn · 18/10/2011 23:00

they have cut it in real terms, and when they privatise the lot the actual money spent on healthcare will be even less.
