Grateful to have such an easy familiarity with DH.

Grateful to not have to cook on a Wednesday.

Really nice feedback from the kids' teachers. Grateful that the kids are kind.

Grateful that the big declutter is making things much easier and quicker to tidy up!

A work thing I was worried about went well today.

It's been a tough day but ultimately I am grateful for life. To still be alive. To be still be here and enjoy the warm autumn light, the clouds in the sky and vastness of the skyline.

And for rubber gloves. Another lesser appreciated gift.

Pet insurance
dcat finally seems to have turned a corner.

The cat has been really ill all week. Back and forward to the vet first thing every morning for drips, iv antibiotics and IV painkillers, x-rays, bloods... I am so grateful that he appears to be on the mend and much more like himself. I'm so grateful for the lovely staff at my vet practice. And for DD coming home to help look after him. And ds1 and ddil helping with the expenses that the insurance doesn't cover like 2 taxi journeys a day every day for 5 days.

Great news about your cat @Lessstressedhemum. Such a worry when they're ill.

Being out in London at night and enjoying the buzz of people, plus imagining what everyone is doing.

Grateful for days off. It's no less hectic when the kids are home but a very welcome change of scene.

A beautiful day out with DH, just the two of us.

For London, which still has its good parts.

Kitty continues to improve
A full night's sleep
A slow day ahead today because my ME has decided to flare up. I'm grateful that I have nothing important to do and nowhere really to go.

Being warm and dry indoors while the rain is beating on the windows
Feeling smug that I chose to plant the cheerful winter pansies yesterday instead of procrastinating
The things on my to-do list aren't too daunting - I look forward to the satisfaction of completing at least one of them today

Ds2's first full day at work went really well. He is settling in to Thailand so much better than I could ever have hoped for.
A glorious mid autumn day
The cat is back to his normal supercilious self.

Not been on for a while. And it showed in my mental health.
What comes first not being grateful for what you have then feeling low or feeling low so not able to see everything you have? Hmmm.

Anyway, I am grateful for my job not being a job but a vocation if you like.

For snuggles with my new grandson.

For a wonderful dh and children.

And for good friends who we chat nearly every day.

Grateful for my son finally having a "buddy" something he has always wanted. A lovely lad, there's no drama between them, they just get on with being fun friends

DD getting her marching boots on and joining the youth march today in Glasgow

Yay!! Well done lessstressed DD.
I really wish I could have gone too.

So do I, Breath. I'm really sad that my marching days are over. I just couldn't manage it now and it upsets me no end.

DD braved the horrendous weather on Saturday to go on the huge demonstration in Glasgow. I'm really proud of her.
I have a warm, watertight home.
I have food in the cupboards and electricity to cook it.

Listening to the wind and rain from the shelter of my home

Meeting colleagues in person - finding out that they are lovely and funny and friendly.

Having a working camera on my phone! Back to being able to take pics:

Coming home to the mean streets of London and my own bed.

Playing with leaves with the kids. Simple pleasures.

Doing some craft (and it didn't look so terrible )

Being showered with kisses by DS3, it seems like he really missed me on my work trip. I feel loved.
