First of all we want to give thanks for Peter's new heart and keep praying for Misdee (LadyVictoriaOfCake), the three girls and the extended family. Pray for continuing healing and a full recovery.

In tension with that we pray for Onlyjoking and Steve and their three children, together with Steve's mother and his (twin) brother. Let us commit them in prayer to the God of miracles and of blessing. Pray that they will find help in the most unexpected places and that the 'peace of God which passes all understanding' will fill their heart.

Prayers for CaptainCaveman in a difficult situation with dsis in hospital. Praying for grace to cope from day to day with issues that are longstanding and unresolved. Prayer for restful nights and an deliverance from panic attacks.
Give thanks for an understanding manager at work.

CaptainDippy gives thanks for dh's new job, which is going well so far and for Phoebe sleeping through the night. Prayers to cope with all the stress of having three 'ickle pickles'.

Harrisey - thanks for a holiday that was better than expected. Thanks for a smooth start to school for ds. Prayers for dh, proper adjustment of medication and for an end to H's migraine.

We pray for MaryBS for a wonderful time on holiday also for Mufti. NASWM (Losty) Let's give thanks that she is getting better, although she is nowhere near well. Hoping to be discharged in September. Pray for the necessary help to be found. (Thanks to DumbledoresGirl for the update). If possible post a message on the thread. here
NotSoFarNow Pray for her as she continues to adjust to life without husband. Pray for relationships with her family and for the new beginnings that may be possible. Pray for wisdom in the situation.

PandaG Pray for her and her friends who are moving away leaving a void.

Podglet Pray that the house situation may be resolved very speedily

QueenofQuotes Give thanks with her for an improving relationship with dh. Pray for the older dss that they may find time to have some Christian teaching as well as sport on a Sunday.

Roseylea gives thanks for the wonderful wedding of fil and for good conversations with dh. Pray for this to continue so that all issues may be resolved. Pray also for recovery from cold and protection from threatened Crohn's attack.

Xaviella has seen the end of her relationship in the last week. Pray for the peace of God to surround her and her family as she adjusts to life on her own

ZipadySuzy is back after a wonderful lady at the library gave her a computer. Unfortunately all stuff from her old computer has been lost at the repairers.
Pray that she will be able to pace herself

Also remember Katz NQGU and Worzella.

Finally:- Give thanks to the Lord always. Rejoice in the Lord always. God is great. ..all the time

Hello all, and big hugs to Podglet.

Just a real quick one - I'm feeling really unwell. I was sent for chest X-rays yesterday so waiting to get the results of those. The dc are going out with FIL and MIL this afternoon so I just need to take it as easy as poss this morning then I can sleep all afternoon. Please pray! I am trying not to worry, (like Worz I am due to go back to work next week, and we have al sorts of childcare-juggling as our cm is away on family crisis business) and those words from Matthew are helping so much. I keep coming back to that one "Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself".

Lots of love to everyone - sorry I've been a bit me-me-me Right - off to lie on the sofa...

Just me passing through again.

Here's my prayer request:

Husband in meetings all day. Have 2 clients on the boil. One called at 7 to say she's contracting every 15mins. Second baby. Other client due last week, no word yet (please oh please oh please no word today), also second baby.

Childcare seems to have vanished in smoke. Current babysitter meeting his girlfriend today (she lives out of town). Back up Doula, friend who would sit with the kids not about till this afternoon. Friend that would have them out till this afternoon. Teens in various countries on holiday can you believe!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So what I need is for client that called today to wait till this afternoon and give birth by the end of this evening and other client not to need me till tomorrow. Or client that called: for it all to go off till the weekend and other client to give birth tomorrow.

Why do I do this to myself? I wasn't going to book them close together but I made a mistake with my diary and now I have 2 at the end of a peaceful, pretty much birth free, summer.

Ooh result! Husband just called. He's cancelled his meetings so will be able to come if I need him too.

Okay... so still need it to happen the way outlined above.

Ooh another call. Her contractions seem to have gone off. Now I think I might just keep typing cos it's getting better and better. But I need to go and do things. I can't just stay here typing hoping that the things I type come good.

Sigh.......................

(just poured all of that out on my regular thread but decided that I needed you ladies to pray.) Be good if you could pray that I finished my French assignment before I got the call as well........

Thank you!

Sorry just a flying visit through!

Prayers for you and your family Podglet, very sad, blessed that your gran died peacefully, and very comforting to open her eyes and take note of her family before she died.

Prayers also for Worzella and Roseylea for your health problems, hope you both get sorted out soon.

Lovely to hear from you Marslady, keep strong and take care

Hia everyone else, we've had a busy few days, seaside day trip to Chapel St L....

Bought twins early 4th birthday present - TRAMPOLINE and a nice garden swing to watch them

We were going away but it didn't pan out so went to the sales instead!

Must stop spending this well earned money, it'll be Christmas shopping before I know it.

HAPPY SUNNY DAYS TO EVERYONE

podglet sorry to hear about your gran hun xx

Been to a&e today dd fell off top of slide she was trying to sit on ds lap and she fell off cracking her head on a concrete plynth it came up in a huge egg but she didn't even complain that her head hurt it was her grazed elbow that she moaned about, it was only when i sat her on my lap and pushed hair out of her eyes that I found the lump.

Was going to drive to a&e but she was really spaced out so ended up having a trip in an ambulance. She's fine and came home and proceeded to sit on top of the climbing frame - they never learn do they.

So an eventful day all in all. [sigh]

What a shock nsfn! Hope alls well now still?

Praying for you and your family Podglet, we're always here for you if you need a shoulder/ear.

Such awful news for mum2tandf - praying that the Lord will comfort them in a time of such turmoil.

praying for you and your ladies Mars! Nice to see you again!

How's your eye Worz - praying it clears up mighty quick and you feel well again soon.

And how's your chest Rosey - did you get your xray results yet? Praying for healing and rest for you too.

Hi Sooz, this captain is fine and ds is all better. I was on the phone to my mum earlier and ds took the phone to talk to her. After being polite and telling her what he's done at nursery today he said "er shut up grandma, I'm going to put a tree in your face" . Now I know she talks a lot but thats a little extreme for a 3 year old.....(made me giggle though!!).
When are the dts 4?

second prayer request is for my friends baby who was born at 31.5 weeks on sunday, baby is doing well but some extra mumsnet prayers won't do any harm!

Hello all!

Just a v. quick one to say I'm feeling a bit better today! Hooray! Still got temp, yukky gunk etc but breathing is much easier. Thank you Lord!

Also I had a dream last night which I believe was from God - it was so uplifting and prophetic (I know it sounds a bit out-there; I dream a load of rubbish most of the time but every now and then I have a dream which has got a real God-quality about it). BTW - sorry about my typos! Moany sparrows, eh?

Katz praying for you as you consider your career! I used to teach in a secondary school, so if you want to talk about courses / starting teaching or whatever, get my e-mail from someone here!

Enjoy your tidying, Suze! Our conservatory is the play-room and it looks as if a torando has whirled through it atm (a 3.5 y o tornado, actaully!) When I'm feeling a bit better we are going to try and tackle it....

Hi Marslady! Congrats to your ladies on their new babes! What a fabby job you have, seeing new little ones into the world - what a privilege.

Worz so glad that your eye is better. Hope you continue to mend ready for the start of term.

Lots of love to everyone else - have a good day and may you all know the love of God today.
